You really cant have too much ammo. I mean you buy at whatever price today and you are hedging against inflation because the price only goes up. I was at my uncles a couple weeks ago and he was reminding me how when I was a kid and he would take me shooting he would pick up a case of 762x39 for $100 lol. If a guy had stocked up back then the price increase would be damn near like buying stock in Tesla when it was $14 a share 😂
@360TacticalSolutions 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆😆😂😂😂😂😂😂EXACTLY. I stay not too far from Minden Louisiana. The ammunition plant there had an explosion and o don't think they've opened back up. Part of the reason why ammunition inflation.
I just bought a TLR7X from GG&G when i bought a rail for my HK USP. It didn't come with a rechargeable battery, and honestly for the price i wouldnt mind paying a little more for it to just have the rechargeable come with it.
Its a great light, I do wish all of them were rechargable

It's the same light, and I wish they include the rechargeable battery in the packaging.
They do include the rechargeable battery…when you buy the TLR-7X USB

That's great. I was thinking about FoxTrot2 because of higher candela. But less choice in holster for the light. TLR7X fits the bill! Hope that TLR7 Sub gets updated, too
The TLR-7 is discontinued so definitely no updates, the X would be the update so to speak
bought my TLR7 sub on eBay. 114.00, brand new. SCORE. I got ahold of Streamlight and they sent me the #5 key and the sub fits perfectly
I may buy a SUB for my 4” M&P but I really prefer the look of the 7A/7X on the smaller guns
@@360TacticalSolutions once I put the #5 key in it, it looks just like your 7x. it brought it a lot closer to the trigger guard.
I wonder if a guy could order a replacement lens for the X and swap it out for the one on the sub. I believe the lens is where the different throw comes from.
Lens is definitely where most of the difference is. I think some of the internals are slightly different but mostly the lens. I should swap it with my 7A and see how it works. I dont see a 7X lens on their site for sale but their sales department may sell you one if you email them
Options are better than all the same when it comes to wanting a weapon light that is rechargeable or just takes a battery. If the power goes down and you forgot to charge your battery now you’re SOL as if a light just takes batteries you swap and go.
Yes except these rechargeable batteries are the same as their regular disposable batteries…except you can plug them in to recharge. See what I’m saying there? I can have a set of disposables stored in my glovebox or whatever and do just what you said, change them in an emergency. The issue with having multiple versions is difficulty finding the version you prefer in stock. Having a rechargeable battery doesn’t limit your options here, it expands them. What you are suggesting actually does the exact opposite of the point you are trying to make
@@360TacticalSolutionsI think what stinger meant is that if you use something like magnetic charger without the option for a disposable battery you are cutting your options. I think it's good to have the rechargeable battery as long you can also have the option of using a disposable one. Once your emergency is resolved you can go back and use the rechargeable. I think that is the reason behind the inconvenience of recharging the battery outside the body of the light.
@@rdj2938 no I got that. Im saying it’s possible to have both in one unit. You can have a magnetic charger set up and still remove the rechargeable battery in order to replace with a disposable.
@@360TacticalSolutions Got it. By the way have you seen the 7x hl one. With the rechargeable battery have 1000L and I think 11000C. The bezel is a little longer tho.

Do I need to get a different key to fit on my hellcat pro or will it fit right out of the box?
Right out of the box the TLR 7X has the universal key installed and that’s the configuration that best fits the HCP
So if you just put the rechargeable battery in your 7A, what happens?
The 7A would just turn on lol. It wont make it any brighter if thats what you are asking. Also Im not sure if they plan on selling the rechargeable battery as a stand alone product yet or not
Guys I just bought the tlr 7 x sub for the hellcat pro I need the 5 key to get this closer to the trigger guard?
Thats why the TLR 7X is the right light for these guns vs the Sub. 7X is a direct fit with the Universal1 key. Sub isn't a good fit unless you email Streamlight and request the right key.

There’s no reason why a magnetic charging light can’t have a changeable battery. That’s just a choice that companies like Olight make

There’s just so many other places to buy from and support. Hell you can go through Optics Planet or Brownells and use my 360TS promo code to get a little price break. Palmetto State Armory is another solid choice. Really it’s more a matter of supporting companies that support the second amendment vs buying from an unknown vender through an app like Amazon that’s about as far left as it gets.
You lose credibility when you start promoting optics planet.. why do we pretend we don’t all know their rep.
Ya it’s weird because people have this outlook on Optics Planet based on shipping issues during Covid days. Brownells had the same issues during the same time period but people don’t mind ordering through them. The fact is nearly all these online sources weather it be Optics Planet, Brownells, PSA or any number of other retailers all use a combination of their own personal stock and the stock of distributors on their web site. That means you place an order for X product at Brownells and they take your payment and place an order with a distributor. It’s frustrating when people don’t really understand how online retail works. I’m ok with that though, feel free to stop watching any and all content by every channel that mentions Optics Planet 👍🏻
