    Been carrying the PRO for almost two years. LOVE IT. Countless rounds through it and NO PROBLEMS. I do wish you had told us a bit about the sight set up. Can you get night sight, are the factory sights good, three dot, contrast between front and rear?? Been away from your channel for some time. Glad to see you are still at it. DAY AFTER DAY. 👍💪🇺🇸

      Thank you. I appreciate it. This gun came to me second hand. I actually bought it from a subscriber so I didnt really want to go into stock sight set up because it came with upgraded sights. The GX4 Carry uses glock style sights so upgrading them is super cheap and easy to find suitable sights.

    Now that I got that outta the way, it’s nice to see a budget gun reviewed every now and then. I’ve heard great things about the GX4 so far. This might make a great mailbox-run carry option someday lol

      I think its a great beginners gun that acts more like a high end of mid range gun. For those people not wanting to dive in and spend a ton of money to get a carry gun but still want a good quality pistol.

    I bought the Hellcat Pro 7 months before getting this. But found I shoot better with the Taurus. Better grip and trigger.

      I’m a big advocate for live fire testing before purchase if at all possible. I’m fortunate enough that my local range has a really good rental program.

    I carry a GX4 Carry everyday. I carried my glock 27 for about 10 years and decided to try out a budget option and I have not been disappointed.

      I don't carry this one daily but I do take it to the range every time I go and put rounds downrange with it. So far it has been a solid gun

    There is a reason for the take down system. It alows the slide to be for flush to the fram. The pull down lug causes slide to fram gapping.

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  22 дня назад

      I have roughly 35 handguns in my safe. Most of those wouldnt be relevant to the conversation as anything more than examples of the fact that everyone uses a flip down style takedown lever and it doesnt cause any negatives. I dont know what you are talking about with “slide to frame gapping” but I do have a Hellcat Pro which has a flip down takedown lever. There isnt a gap between the slide and frame. It conceals better than any other gun I own and it’s easy to disassemble without needing anything but my hands. No tool needed. Taurus thought they were doing something cool with the takedown system but there seriously is no reason for it

    • @Rayvisin
      @Rayvisin 22 дня назад

      @360TacticalSolutions exactly, same system. You can bolt on a lever to the gx4 and it would work the same. Rotation pin lock allows guns to sit more flush to the frame.

    • @Rayvisin
      @Rayvisin 22 дня назад

      @360TacticalSolutions I am sure due this being a carry style hand gun and not combat or battle they preferred the flatter look.

      @@Rayvisin so my point is that not having the takedown lever doesn't change anything for the positive. You still have the slide release lever so you could have a standard takedown lever without making it any thicker and not need a secondary tool to take it apart.
      The GX4 Carry is 1.08" thick
      The Hellcat Pro is 1" thick
      So even though the HCP has a standard takedown lever it's still .08" thinner than the GX4 Carry. Im pointing this out because their system doesn't make anything fit closer or more flush to the frame as you pointed out. This is simply a design choice with no actual merit. Im not saying the Taurus is a bad gun, it's just that the takedown system serves no purpose. You can look at other guns like the M&P Shield which is actually .95" thick and has a standard takedown lever or the Sig P365 Macro which is 1.1" thick and has a standard lever. There are lots of examples of guns made for concealment either the same thickness as the Gx4 carry or similar that have a takedown lever 🤷🏼‍♂

    I'd thought about a gx4 but got the shield plus instead. Glad I did, but still intrigued

      So far my testing is going well. I really feel like for the price it can’t be beat. The GX4 Carry is essentially the poor man’s Hellcat Pro…not in a bad way of course. It’s just designed in a way that it’s going to fill that lower price handgun market while doing the same thing as the more expensive version

    Are you going to get the hellcat pro comp?

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  Месяц назад +1

      I considered it but it’s not available in WA yet. We have mag restrictions and so far SA isnt making one that comes with 10rd mags. Even so, by time I buy one, pay shipping and the local transfer fees I’m in it nearly $800. Unfortunately there are some budgetary concerns there. Spending that kind of money there has to be a certain level of return. Since SA copied the port from Monsoon Tactical it wouldnt make sense to buy and review. Any of the videos on the Monsoon Tactical port will give a good view on what to expect.

      This GX lineup isn't the Taurus of days past lol. I have over 2k rounds through this gun and it hasn't had a single hiccup. I would say that the GX4 Carry is worthy of testing for yourself

    What the takedown is so easy... That's lazy af

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  28 дней назад +2

      Well I never said it was hard to do, I didn’t say it was complicated and I certainly don’t say it was too much work…so I don’t thing “That’s lazy af” really applies does it? Nothing about your comment actually relates to what I said.
      It’s not about it being hard to do, it’s about adding an external tool into the takedown procedure. How many guns do you own that require a secondary tool to break down for cleaning, maintenance or any type of failure? With the exception of some of my 1911’s using a paper clip to remove the guidrod and of course the Taurus, none of my pistols require a tool for disassembly. You can of course carry a tool with you in case you need to disassemble the GX4 but it’s one more thing to have to do, one more thing to be forgotten or to go wrong. This would of course make sense if not having a takedown lever held any type of advantage…which I can’t for the life of me find one. If you can point out an advantage to not having a takedown lever I’m happy to listen to your thoughts.
