- Honestly, a lot has happened since Khun Anne took over Miss Universe last year.
Her new "business plan" for Miss Universe however has seemingly proved too much to handle.
Ghana, Slovak Republic, Cayman Islands, Belize and Cambodia are no longer part of Miss Universe as of right now.
Seychelles & Mauritius, Argentina, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia all switched to new owners.
Meanwhile, Miss Universe 2022 unfortunately has had to share her spotlight with, not only Khun Anne, but also Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2022 and Miss Universe Curacao 2022 - both of which were present in the Top 5.
Miss Universe Puerto Rico and Miss Universe Venezuela 2023 luckily had the good sense to realize that they had more important things to do than whatever it is that the Miss Universe team is doing right now...

Girl get over it.. Some organizations that dropped out couldn’t even bet 15k imagine having a competition crowning someone and not even being able to make it to the top because they can’t afford it. Now that the license are changing we can finally see new countries enter the top. Every wonder why some always place..? Get over it.

You are so correct! It's becoming a bidding war over at M.U. which boils down to who has the money. Obviously it's really not about the WOMEN EMPOWERMENT as the priority. Also, since Rbonney won, it's the owner whom you see in most, if not all of the post pageant publicities. Obviously, M.U. is becoming like a circus, losing the prestige and glamor it used to enjoy versus the other pageants. And I agree, Miss Indonesia? Who consistently produce great candidates and good production. Puteri Indonesia was an excellent franchise holder. Don't you think these brouhaha gives us a view of why the past pageant snubbed these strong Asian countries?

Its just my observation Thai Beauty pageants owned in general their more focus on glitz and glamour..the more glamorous the more it's become famous on their country thats pageants game in Thailand..doin social works is not their priority it's a side chick..

I really do hope we still would see Cambodia in Miss Universe. Because they have the potential to be a powerhouse country after Manita Hang last year, which unfortunately, didn't made the cut. But I'm still hoping they don't totally withdraw. Cambodia deserves a spotlight and recognition. This bidding war is just merely unjust... 😔

There is something wrong with pageants owners from Ann's country. Miss Grand is also from her country and they both want to be in the spotlight. I still don't understand why no company in America wanted to buy a whole American legacy. It would have been still great. Americans tend to be business minded yet use their heads and heart

The new MUO most likely will be losing fans and supports from the international communities.

It’s takes MONEY to set up production, pay people etc etc . I’m sure IMG sold the pageant because it was losing money. This business woman is trying to bring it back to probably breaking even. And I 1000% agree. I’m done with having to look at Dominican Republic trying to hog the spotlight. There is nothing wrong with a private jet. There are thousands of flights daily in the private jet world. And the Trump era was pretty good most of the time. Tired of foreigners always bashing him. Again this is a BUSINESS. Not a charity event!

It's good information to acknowledge the world that the new owner of MU focuses too much on MONEY not MORALITY.
Miss Universe is going down hill. I remember watching Miss Universe in 1968 and it was unheard of having biological men competing as Miss Universe. I think women should have their own space and the trans should have their own space. With the owner being a biological male, I can see where this pageant is going. This is sick.

I hope khun Ann will remove the PH License from Empire of Jonas and Supsup since they mismanaged the org. MUPh is better off with Binibining Pilipinas. Khun Ann is competing with Uncle Nawat so she's giving the MU as MGI.
