I adore Asian women in general. Not just because of their beauty but also because of the way they carry themselves and their family (ofcourse not generalizing). Asian women in general are more practical in life and I really like that. And even their food is so amazing (specially Indian and Japanese food).

Yukta was very articulate about the Indian beauty standard. Eyes- large and almond shaped, straight nose, thick long black hair, soft features, glowing skin and confidence with modesty. Its essentially the toughest but the most sought after beauty standard not just in India but the entire world. A mix of everything. As soon as the post colonial White-skin obsession goes to the mud, the country will see the best faces come out on the international forum.

Well, I'm proud of Yukta, who was the right choice for India to participate the debate "World's beauty standard", and was pretty good in explaining beauty standards. I was a little bit disappointed in the choice of Ana. There were much prettier representatives in terms of beauty standards. All accomplished their job perfectly. Thanks, everyone for sharing your precious time.

There were prettier representatives in Brazil like Adriana Lima and other international top models, but Grazi is prettier than most of the women featured in this video. And she is 40 years old. In addition, she has a spectacular body that these photos do not give an idea, and if Ana spoke so much about personality throughout the video, she could not choose anyone else, Grazi is a fantastic person, talented (Emmy nominee), friendly, funny, she sheds her own light around her
indians are beautiful. i think i’ve always admired indian beauty, pakistani too btw. you people should be proud of your roots and your looks. really hope to visit india someday
I feel like the Indian and the Brazilian ones were the only one to talk about the reality of things, the good and the bad. Some of the others got defensive and didn’t give the full picture.
As an Indian I can tell that Yukta definitely defined the Indian beauty standards quite accurately. That straight attractive nose and long black hair especially are the common aspects I saw almost everywhere in India.
@@originorder6646 I said almost not whole but even in North East, at least Manipur and Meghalaya, I have seen long black hair to be considered beautiful although coloured hair are quite popular among urban youth. And North East represents only 3.76% of Indian population. So even if Northeast beauty standards may have changed now, the rest 96% India still have same standards.
As an America I’ve always thought Indian girls were so gorgeous! I feel like it’s something with their deep brown eyes mostly! Which is quite funny considering I’m Puerto Rican with dark brown eyes and I hate my eyes but I love indian women’s eyes. Also I just think a lot of their faces are just pretty for whatever reason their eyes are my favorite tho. So beautiful!
Indian women...when they're gorgeous, they really are gorgeous and take everyone's breath away. I think their intelligence and charisma also adds to this mix. I find them to be very articulate and good communicators. I feel the same way with Filipino's. I also think Italian women are also attractive, as well as Lebanese or Israeli women as well. Japanese females are also stunning, and I've grown to appreciate Korean women as well. Honestly speaking, I'm a fan of all sorts of features be it ivory skin or ebony skin, but I tend to find the ethnicities mentioned to be quite attractive.

Brazil is one of the most diverse country on Earth in terms of beauty standars. When I walk on the street I usually see redheads, blondes, brunnets, black, asians, and other kinds of people in just a minute. We're definitely the country of different colors.
Everyone, ignore the troll. they want attention. Anyway, if I had to pick one woman to represent a beautiful Brazilian woman I would say Bruna Marquezine, who looks completely different from Grazi!
In india the biggest beauty standard is having paler skin which is absurd, we indians dont admire our brown skin.. but things are slowly changing for good.

@Nanjali Empire what are you saying, men can be attracted to another men too. Ofcourse, there are exceptions, we see things differently from one another. What I'm trying to say is that there are more symmetrical facial features in women around the world than in men.

@happy by your logic, everyone thinks their own country people are beautiful of course. Indians are proud just like the Greeks or Italians … no different. However objectively speaking, Indian women are truly among the most beautiful. The fact is that they have won a good number of beauty pageants, and with their massive population, the melting pot mix of genetics can speak for itself. No need to get upset.. b happy

I am Indian, I would rate Indian beauty to be higher than the rest of the world, they are gorgeous, natural beauty, people will call u a clown here if u go through plastic surgery. I mean just look up the beauty contests, since 1990 we have won so many beauty pageants like Miss World and Universe. Look up for Aishwarya Ray, Lara Dutt, Priyanka Chopra etc. Second on my list would be the Latin Americans, some of them look very similar to Indians and they got that beautiful tan skin. Salma Hayek for example. Next in the list would definitely be the Russians and the Italians.
@@shubhangimishra7834 Preity Zinta didnt win Miss World or Universe. I mentioned the names of only the queens who won a title. Even i didnt so many beautifull actors like Madhuri Dixit. Cuz she didnt win any international beauty contest.
Indians are beautiful, indeed. But these comparisons are stupid, didn't y'all say you're beautiful bc you're soooo diverse? Well... Many other countries are also, but usually when Indians show the men and women they find beautiful, they're always the same standard, small face, big eyes, light skin, etc. (the ones you see on TV); plus, they all look like Latin Americans, specially Brazilians. Here, we had a soap opera about India called "Caminho das Índias", and all the actors are Brazilians, but they fit so well in this Indian beauty standard you often praise. But we can't say much, we also say we're so diverse, but usually they choose white people to represent Brazil's beauty (like in the video), even when we have lots of beautiful Black, Native and Asian people on the streets and on TV
We as Indians are not just physically beautiful but mentally strong. Our mothers and grandmothers push us to always work hard and never make us run after men (especially in my family). Yet, in all of this world Indian women is the strongest. Your looks will remain only 50 years with you. Its your inner character, strength as well as wisdom that makes you the beautiful person. What is their in you if you only have a beautiful face but ugly personality? Eat healthy, read good books and physically active is the key to beauty and strength.
That's very strange to me. Her skin would definitely be considered beautiful here in the United states. People here lay out in the sun or even pay for tanning beds to get skin like that. I'd love it if my default skin tone were that color. We have an idiomatic saying (I don't know if it's common in Indian English): "The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence."
According to me most beautiful actress in india : 1. Aishwarya rai bacchan 2.Samantha ruth prabhu 3.Deepika padugone 4. Rashmika mandanna 5. Anushka Sharma
For me, Latin America has the most beautiful women, especially in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Puerto Rico...but I find Indians and koreans women beautiful too 💖 kisses from Brazil 🇧🇷❤
I love this channel and this video is so powerful! Just women talking about beauty standards while supporting each other, complimenting and cheering each other's beauty. Amazing!
'Beauty with brain' is also a beauty standard in India. probably that's why it has the joint-most number of Miss World titles. I was expecting the Indian girl to say the name of "Aishwarya Rai". Even though she's in her late 40's, She's just Gorgeous.
I think Aishwarya Rai wasn’t mentioned due to her age. But in her prime, she was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and that’s both in Hollywood and Bollywood. She is the only woman to ever exist that I can say was literally breathtaking to look at. Most people that saw her whether in person or movies also said likewise, even some A list Hollywood celebrities that met her. I really don’t believe I will see someone as beautiful as her again but happy to be alive the same time as this natural wonder.
@@deckhead33 Beauty standards are defintly a thing and she was pretty but i wouldnt say shes even close to the most beautiful inidan ive seen although thats just my opinion
Ana was very accurate about Brazil when she said we don't have a very defined beauty standard. For us, liking a curvy black girl with curly hair is just as valid as liking a fit pale redhead with blue eyes, it all comes down to personal preference. If any of the girls in the video came to Brazil, they could easily pass as natives due to how mixed we are, no one would assume they're foreigners. In fact, almost half or Brazil identify themselves as "Pardo", which is basically a name for people without a defined race.
Let's be serious. Brazil has a very defined general beauty standard: the short blond panicat type. I'm a slim, tall, mixed race (mulata) with blue eyes and I never could imagine i was beautiful for the others until I was found by a model agency at 14 and moved to NY at age 15. When I first got to the US everyone got crazy: people would stop to ask me pictures in the streets everyday while telling me i was the most gorgeous woman they ever saw. Got to work and live in several countries in Europe and Asia and I always had the same reaction by everyone. Even today at 39 people still take pictures of me when I am passing by and get shocked for how I look. I got married 8 years ago with an aristocratic belgian multimillionaire that still cant believe I married him (he tells me that everyday). But he is shocked when we go to Brasil and everyone questions him why he would chose me if there are so many beautiful women to chose from. In Brazil not even the pedreiros look at me when I cross a construction site. LOL No one in Brazil actually thinks I'm attractive. No racism there, just preference and it's ok. But let's not say that there isn't a beauty standard VERY defined in Brazil, because there is. It doesn't mean you cant fine a partner, you will. But you wouldn't get to be the dream girl of the majority of the population, which is what a beauty standard is.
@@allwhatilove914 This would have been true some 10 years ago. Things have changed a lot. The blonde panicat type is almost a meme at this point. Sure, there are people who like them, but I completely disagree that that's the kind of beauty that is more sought after in Brazil nowadays.
@@allwhatilove914 I think in that sense you were in the wrong place at the wrong time the whole time. For me, personally, that kind of features you described are the most beautiful ones.
Год назад
@@allwhatilove914 I do not agree. We do mix ourselves without a care in the world. And the blond hair is just different from the normal so people like it. The most common color is black hair so anything 'exotic' calls for attention: red/blond hair, non-black and non-brown eyes, squinted eyes...
The indian woman is pretty, i love her outfit. For me, the brazilian and indian women are more beautiful than the celebrities they pick. Also for the surgery that the spanish woman want to do to change her eye color, it doesn't change the eye color. It's actually an colored implant/contact lense which is inserted under the eye and it is a very dangerous surgery.
Brazil is such a huge and diverse country that it is simply impossible to determine a beauty standard. Seriously, we have people from all over the world: Eastern and Western Asia, all over Europe and Africa, and of course several other countries of South America. I just wouldn't be able to pick just one set of personality and beauty traits.

why did they all choose blonde blue eyed people only? lol Also it looks like majority of them chose people that looked like themselves. P.S. I loved Indian standards the most!
I notice that too, how come the brazilian girl choose the blonde actress, like? I'm from Brazil and the standard definitly is not Grazi Massafera, she is seen here as a true beauty but, woman here look up to Juliana Paes, Taís Araújo, Isis Valverde, Bruna Marquezine... i guess it is okay tho? She (Ana) is from the southeast, that kinda looks like her, even tho the rest of Brazil does not...
It's a reflection of the syndrome and turns can, in Brazil, Brazilians feel inferior in relation to Europe, that's why they tend to always find a way to make themselves inferior, they feel inferior for not being white like Europeans. But brazil is really very diverse having different types of faces and skins. An example is the actress Marina Nery, Isis Valverde, Debora Nascimento and Tais Araujo as well as midelo Gisele, and the singer Isa
"We don't actually have set beauty standards in my country" - well, that's a lie. Even in countries with a lot of diversity (like Brazil and India here) there will be beauty standards that one can quickly pinpoint by seeing a few examples of the "most beautiful women". We can even see that here, where most women brought as examples were actually quite similar (with the Indian one being more different from the rest): lighter skin, thin body, long straight hair...
agree completely! in fact I would say that even with all the diversity, there are pretty strict beauty standards in India, with respect to body hair (absolute no no, at least in urban spaces), skin colour (fair & lovely is still a suuuper popular product), how much skin you can show (on the tv and cinema screen, as much as you want, but in real life, not at all), how thin you should be (narrow waist, flat belly, but cannot be too skinny), hair should be long, straight and lush. I'm also a tad surprised that Yukta said Indians wants their women to be strong and confident. I disagree completely. Confidence and boldness are actually seen as undesirable characteristics in a woman by most people.
@@nushious India is so diverse and it depends on region to region but from my point of view, modern day women are showing their skin and it's not a taboo anymore to not show your too much skin. In urban or metro cities, women are comfortable to show their skin so you should not give this statement on the basis of what you have seen around you !!
It's not a lie. The perception of beauty changes according to the region and sometimes even states. What's considered beautiful in the Amazonas state is not exactly beautiful in the state of Bahia, what's beautiful in Bahia may not be considered beautiful in the state of Paraná and what is considered beautiful in Paraná is not always attractive in the state of Santa Catarina. Perhaps a person may have a misconception about this if they think that what they see on the TV is what's most attractive in the national territory. However what's on TV is only a reflect of the beauty standards of two states; São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
As an Brazilian, i think because we are from the American continent, we are essentially compose by immigration, we ended up being the most diverse country, having Europian, Afican, Asian as well as some native lineage all mix-up with make you find your "ideal" of beauty more common thus being one of the most beautiful country, on the bright side that is. On the dark side following the same standards we are also the ugliest, because you can also find the opposite of your idea of beauty 😂

I really like how Indian girl explained the whole thing ❤️❤️ I am also from India and I really wants to share one thing , back in lockdown days i gained some weight and my facial hairs starts to get visible so my friends and cousins made fun of me but it doesn't matter the most hurtful thing is that I shared my feeling about this matter to one of my cousin sister and next day in front of Everyone she says " ohh look everyone one days we are able to make braids of her nose hairs " this hurt me a lot that day my father said to me do you know why we worship bhagwan shiv , why he is called as devo ke dev? I said why so he said because he taught us that we are beautiful the way we are , listen carefully physical beauty is going to disappear one day the thing matter is you inner beauty so he beautiful by you heart be healthy and most important thing don't cry on this silly things for me you was you are and you will be the most beautiful girl in this world you are beautiful the way you are don't listen to them just accept yourself.. This is the best thing I could hear so I just wanted to say to those who are getting trolled or have insecurities on the name of beauty standards it doesn't even matter what matter is you and you happiness so always be happy. The most beautiful feature of yours is your smile so keep smiling 🤗🤗 Lots of love from mee ❤️❤️ Sorry if I make any mistake 😁
FINALLY we see Belarus represented, shout-out to you And the girl introduced herself in Belarusian. That's right, girl. We fo have our own beautiful language which is being discriminated on the government level. And women have taken a whole new role after protests in 2020. Good job!
I think everyone is beautiful and there is no need to decide which country has the most beautiful women or beauty standards as they are constantly changing. beauty has all aspects just only being beautiful physically wouldn't make anyone beautiful because beauty comes with uniqueness and being real. You are different and original and that's why you are beautiful. I know it's important to have good appearance but confidence, independence, heart, intelligence, and character make it more beautiful. So our focus should be overall not just appearance. Start loving yourself and you are more beautiful than anyone else.
Yes. After watching Chines famouse actress Liu Yifei I know it very well. Chines actress Liu Yifei is naturally beautiful and she is very talented, actress, singer, dancer and model. Honestly from what I observed as an Indian, the most common feature that Indian society likes women to have in India is long hair, white skin, elegance (more like self-confidence), being modest, having moderate sized boobs(both small and big are mocked).... there are many others and it does have diversity from place to place but I think these are the main features that are considered attractive. Of course with the new generation beauty standards are changing but still a lot of people take this as the epitome of beauty.
I think it depends on the person and what culture is more attractive to , like for me the women from Italy are really attractive , Russia as well , among these countries for me is Spain 🇪🇸

Yes, there’s the obvious physical attraction when you first meet someone you’ve never met before. However, beyond that the two most important traits that attract me to a woman is her intelligence and her personality. Intelligence and a good personality is something that mostly transcends nationality. For example, in this video I like assertiveness and confidence of the Austrian girl, and the sweet and polite personality of the Indian girl. That’s much more attractive to me than nationality.
Nice video! I would not choose Grazi Massafera as a standard for Brazil (obviously she is gorgeous, not the point), but I know that is way hard to choose some woman, we are really diverse. It'd be better to name like 5 women at least.

The Indian girl explained everything the right way but not all South Indians are dark and not all north Indians are fair skinned. I’ve heard her saying that South Indians are dark and North Indians are fair in some other korean video i guess. I guess you have never been to south India … she’s just relying on those stereotypes . But other than that everything she mentioned was perfectly said .
Only those are dark in north who have a history of migrating here during mughal rule or those rules which ruled over half of india, mainly in UP, Rajshthan and Haryana, other north Indian people are majority fair or light skinned. Same way in south, those who have a mixed couple at some point in history are more fair like muslims of malabar are slavic ones. And north Indians and northeast Indians are more mixed with middle eastern, central asian, tibetan, chinese, south east Asian and even Europe at a point. Like the coastal places of south have mixed people.

Indian girl is so nice....not only in looks but in conversation and explaining things very nicely

Yukta spoke her heart out and the little girl who was ashamed by relative and colleagues for having tanned skin finally spoke 👏
That's very strange to me. Her skin would definitely be considered beautiful here in the United states. People here lay out in the sun or even pay for tanning beds to get skin like that. I'd love it if my default skin tone were that color. We have an idiomatic saying (I don't know if it's common in Indian English):
"The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence."

@@allwhatilove914 In Brazil there are women of all shapes and heights.
@Nidhi Harchand But i still prefer Yukta 😂.
Brazil is such a huge and diverse country that it is simply impossible to determine a beauty standard. I think India is more diverse because you can find black people like African and also white people like Americans and Chinese types of people which don't come from other countries they are born in India. And when you talk about launguage there in India there is 1000 local launguages spoken
@@Chesswalk570 Here in brazil is the same. brazil has the largest japanese population outside japan
why did they all choose blonde blue eyed people only? lol Also it looks like majority of them chose people that looked like themselves.
How can you tell they have blue eyes….it gets old when you people pair up blonde hair with automatic blue eyes lmao
@@otohime8516 you've also got the Victoria secret angels... Adriana Lima is sublime
@@Meowmeter Debora nascimento, Marina Nery, Tais araujo, Isis valverde, Isa, Brazil better demonstrated
There is no dark side everyone is beautiful in their own way ✌️

True that.
There are over 2000 ethnic groups in India (or say South Asia). Mainly mega groups like Indo-Aryan (Most of Northern India), Dravidian (Most of Southern India), Austronesian (Malaysian looking), Tibetan (Chinese looking), Iranian, Pakhtoon, Kashmiri, etc etc. Every group has their own beauty.
Spain and Brazil for me 💗❣️💗❣️💗

Brazil is so mixed that any girl in this video could be seen as Brazilian there.
Women not girl
For Brazil I would have definitely chosen Adriana Lima. Absolutely stunning
I appreciate everyone opinions but as an Indian I love Indian girl here most.
I really like how Indian girl explained the whole thing ❤️❤️
I am also from India and I really wants to share one thing , back in lockdown days i gained some weight and my facial hairs starts to get visible so my friends and cousins made fun of me but it doesn't matter the most hurtful thing is that I shared my feeling about this matter to one of my cousin sister and next day in front of Everyone she says " ohh look everyone one days we are able to make braids of her nose hairs " this hurt me a lot that day my father said to me do you know why we worship bhagwan shiv , why he is called as devo ke dev? I said why so he said because he taught us that we are beautiful the way we are , listen carefully physical beauty is going to disappear one day the thing matter is you inner beauty so he beautiful by you heart be healthy and most important thing don't cry on this silly things for me you was you are and you will be the most beautiful girl in this world you are beautiful the way you are don't listen to them just accept yourself..
This is the best thing I could hear so I just wanted to say to those who are getting trolled or have insecurities on the name of beauty standards it doesn't even matter what matter is you and you happiness so always be happy. The most beautiful feature of yours is your smile so keep smiling 🤗🤗
Lots of love from mee ❤️❤️
Sorry if I make any mistake 😁
For Brazil, I would choose Vitória Secrets model Adrianna Lima. It best represents our mix of peoples.

A Ana é incrível ❤️🇧🇷
I was going for Aishwarya but still Deepika rocked it
Aishwarya’s beauty is outwardly so maybe it’s not fair to compare her with merely beautiful celebrities.
Aiswarya Rai is definitely beautiful, but she doesn't have that PAN Indian look. Deepika fits the criteria.
Aishwarya doesn't look like your avg Indian becoz of her colored eyes but deepkia do
Aishwarya is not average Indian.
She tries to explain Indian beauty but it's hard to explain because each and every state has own beauty standerd

White skin ? We Indians can fall in love with anyone , pls stop spreading white skin
@@krishnaverma2603 fair skin is the beauty standard.

I think it depends on the person and what culture is more attractive to , like for me the women from Italy are really attractive , Russia as well , among these countries for me is Spain 🇪🇸

The Indian girl explained it so well.
Only thing to highlight FROM NORTH TO SOUTH EAST TO WEST we got different culture, different, color of ski, hair eyes different shapes so we have various beauty standards in india. ❤️
Not true. South standards still ask for white skin in girls. South only accepts dark skinned men. In North neither dark skin men nor women are accepted.
My step mom is Spanish, and I am engaged to a Spanish woman. We Englishmen love Spanish women!
Finally Belarus😊 Hanna, we support you, keep going

ONLY FAIR SKINS PEOPLE IN SOUTH INDIANS ARE SO CALLED BRAHMINS AND SYRIAN CHRISTIANS MOSTLY.
We can see that among them that Indian girl nods the most , that is the way how we show response & respect to opposite person. 😄
