Thanks so much! It is my favorite and most expensive rod. Ton of feel when fish is nibbling and able to pull in the big ones as well. I did break one, however, so you have to be really careful, especially when you have the fish on the line in your boat. Note to self: release the bail.
I have a fish grip but trout mouths are quick to tear pulling up to boat to put grips on. I use a rubberized net, which doesn’t seem to do any harm. Is it your experience that rubber nets do this or can you give me more information where you learned this? Blessings and thanks for commenting.

Not sure if you realize it but your net shreds fish tails especially Trout. Invest in lip grips it will help keep your catch and releases intact
