I’ve never had it in a bay, but I’ve been out over 1 mile offshore in the Gulf of Mexico and experienced 2 ft waves. With a trolling motor, it can handle it - very stable.

Just need to get the financial ability to buy my first Kayak so I can get back on the water post four strokes from Covid in 2020 grounded me.
