This song was mine and my brother Sean's favorite song when we were little. We would sitbin front of the 8 track player and listen to it all day. On 11/24/2000 he called me the first time he ever remembered my birthday on my birthday and he had found and played this song for me. The reason that I remember the year is it was the last year he was alive for my birthday. He was killed in a motorcycle accident 4/21/2001. So this song now holds even more special meaning for me. Thank you Dolly for all that you have and continue to due. Sean and I always loved you!
I am so sorry to read that Michelle! God Bless You!! I have always loved this song as well. My sister and I would sing it together with or with out the 8 track! LOL

I was there that night and yes Dolly gets right into your mind and heart all at the same time, I have seen many country artists but no one has the ability to bring out emotion like Dolly, the world is a better place for her being on planet Earth.
