So I’ve had my f570 for about 3 months now and when I purchased it I used it a few times. I haven’t used it since and I wanted to get back into it. Is it safe to continue using it or should I do some kind of maintenance on it with one of the features? Thank you
Hey Andy, We recommend you do an ink cleaning and you should be good. Just make sure when it does the printout it looks good. If you have any questions please contact mallory.varner@gogsg.com. Thanks!

Epson has designed the F570 to essentially maintain itself, so there isn’t a lot of hands on maintenance required. There is a maintenance box (waste tank) that you will need to replace when the Epson F570 indicates that it is full and the user manual goes over replacing the cutting blade when needed. That's about it! Thanks for the question feel free to give us a call (800) 366-1776 and we will be happy to answer any more questions you have.
Hey Felip! Below is a link to the replacement ink for the Epson F570. It’s a bulk ink system. The yield really depends on what you are printing on and color values. Hi Mallory, I really appreciate your video. I am not sure i want to start with the F570 but i can't wait to put my hands on a F170. I have a couple of question, one is that the paper you use to sublime seems to have too much ink left, is that ok? can you tell me what kind of paper did you use? And, any tips on dark cotton sublimation that you may have would be great to know.
The ink dries very quickly. The only time we waited 24 hours or use the press to speed it up is with the Siser EasySubli. We use the Epson paper in this video and most of the time. The only time we recommend cotton garments is with Siser Easysubli. There are sublimation sprays out there, but we do not recommend them and have not had a ton of success with the ones we have tested. The F170 is great and we highly recommend it when getting started! It is the same ink that is in the f570 and is designed for sublimation. The ink is super cost efficient especially compared to other small format sublimation printers.
GSG Graphic Solutions Group wait really!? I thought it was only for sawgrass. Do you have a video on it? I’m confused. Is EasySubli a type of paper or a type of ink?

@Mallory thank you for responding. What about on top of the image? I see so many people place the shirt down, then the image and then a cover sheet before they press.
I am looking into getting a heat press + epson f570 for dyesub on aluminum panels / photos etc. I know there is a process for heat-pressing on fabric that is extra long/wide with a "small" 16x20 heat press, do you happen to know if this process is the same for larger aluminum prints? ie: 48" wide by 16 inch = 2-3 shmushes on the heat press? I'm sure its a pain to keep aligned but hoping to have confirmation this works without damaging the print, no other videos have covered that yet specific to aluminum that ive seen. Thanks!
The process is most likely the same, however I would reach out to wherever you get your sublimation substrates and ask their recommendation for sublimating that product.
Have you printed on forever 202 paper. The black in prints are coming out brown and also getting the roller marks on the prints. Do you know how to fix that? Also is there a dark garment paper you recommend.

Hey Samuel! Dye Sublimation is durable and vibrant. Under normal condition, the image will last as long as the product. As you know fabrics do break down with washing drying. Like the lint tray that we always forget to clean on dryer. The ink is part of the fabric, so when the shirt starts to break down and fade, so will the image. I wish we could be more specific, but it really depends on the products that's being printed on. Example: Our swim wear is made from sublimation. The color and vibrance of swimwear holds up because swimwear is designed to take the saltwater and chlorine from the water. Hi, I have a few questions, so if you could please answer them, I would appreciate it very much. I am new to sublimation. Thank you. Did you also place a piece of craft paper on the inside of the tshirt (pineapple) the way you did on the inside of the jersey shirt? It's hard to see from your video. Have you had any problems with the print heads clogging? Do you have to print at least once a week? How often do you have to clean the print head(s)?
Hello! Yes, I usually place a piece of craft paper when it is a thin shirt. It is the same ink as the F570. Like any other printer, how long the ink lasts depends on the usage. Yes, you will be able to do a lot of projects before having to replace the ink. We have experienced no issues with the print heads clogging. how many 24x14 mousepads would you think one refill on the printer would last?
