Tell Epson they really ought to let us use the Edge RIP. It's available for download on Epson's support page for the F570, but you can't use it without a license. But Epson won't give you a license number and they won't sell you one. They just say nope. Even though some people in the US DID get the Edge RIP, that apparently was a mistake. Even though the Edge RIP apparently still ships with printers in some countries, but not the US. So it will work, we just can't have it. Great support, Epson! Yeah, I know it prints using the driver shipped with it but it's very basic. I WANT THE EDGE RIP, EPSON!

We’re new to printing so we accidentally bought smaller sheets of heat transfer paper which are the Jet Opaque II thinking it was heat transfer like the one that the machine comes with(the roll) We loaded it up and then it got stuck in the machine. We realized it has a transfer film almost like vinyl or it probably is vinyl lol 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ anyway, we searched and found your video on Opaque II paper and thought it’s perfect for sublimation because it’s so easy. I was wondering if there’s a way we can change settings on the printer that will allow us to print this paper without getting stuck. We did try changing the settings to thick paper however, it didn’t work. We really would love to use this printer to its full potential to get great results on cotton and blends other than polyester 😊

Hello! We have not tried printing continuously for that long of time. You would have to be careful that your nozzles do not drop out in that time period, since it would be consistent printing.
The ink box will fill really quick for sure if you plan to print for long time. The box that it came with fill out really quick the first times I used it to try it and made so much mistakes .

Hello! You would be able to do an all over print with a child's small on the Epson F570. The printer is a Sublimation printer and is ready to start transferring upon setup.
Mike, the Epson F570 does not have a maintenance cycle. However, this printer does offer an improved design, which limits the need for everyday maintenance. If not printing weekly, we would highly recommend a nozzle check before a job is sent to ensure the lines are not clogged. The F570 does have a waste ink container - the maintenance tank, which is a replaceable consumable. The new PRO edition was manufactured in 2021.

The printer prints on sublimation paper. But you can transfer printing by sublimation to a thick wooden surface (or plywood). to do this, you will need a thermal press. The surface must first be covered with a thin layer of transparent acrylic varnish. after transfer, moisten the paper with ordinary water for easy separation. Kimberly, we have not worked with the Epson F170 to guarantee this option. However, based off of the Epson F170 User Guide, using your phone is not an option - either network, or USB with your computer appears to be the best option.
Hi Tedz! Numbers for supply usage, and pricing, would be an estimation, as a lot of variables must be considered. Such as paper brand, size of your image, color input into your image, and if you have adjusted any settings within the driver - in terms of color. We cannot get a true estimation.

EasySubli will not work well with the F570. We have experienced over saturation and feeding issues. We do have a few options for multi purpose, or textile options such as Jetcol DHS, TA, and the very popular Sublicolor SuperSport Tacky.
Hello! It does have a program, called Edge, but, it is not a formal design program, like Creative Studio. We would still recommend using PhotoShop, Corel Draw or another program.
Keysa, you will go into the F570 driver settings. First, I like to change the document and output size, to the size sheet you wish to print onto. Then, you will change the Source to Auto Sheet Feeder - this information can be found under Print Settings of the F570 driver.

Hello Alex, great question! If you do not use the printer for quite some time, such as a few months, you will notice issues. It is recommend to print at least weekly, and in between do nozzle checks.
That is correct. With sublimation, you cannot print on black, and it works best on white and light-colored shirts. This is because the ink is translucent and dyes the fabric. If you would like to print on black or dark-colored T-shirts, another decoration method would work better such as laser heat transfer paper.

Epson really needs to work on allowing thicker media. Also, maintenance cartridges should be made reusable. All they are is an ink-dump. It's ridiculous to charge money for what's essentially a sponge that could be wrung out.

Hello! The F570 is a Sublimation printer. This printer will print your design, after printing it cuts the footer edge in a straight line. You can turn this option off. If you turn the option off, you will have to use a knife, or scissors, to remove the paper from the printer.

Hello! Color profiling would be up to the customer. Coastal uses, and recommends the Epson driver settings. If the colors from the transfer do not meet the customer's requirements. Then the customer would need to color profile.

Looks like a lot of blank paper waste on the bottom of the first print from the roll.

The paper is on 2" cores right? This nowhere documented by epson.

Hello! The F570 is a Sublimation printer. This printer will print your design, after printing it cuts the footer edge in a straight line. You can turn this option off. If you turn the option off, you will have to use a knife, or scissors, to remove the paper from the printer.

It's impossible to print the correct colors. The blues have a red tint, almost purple.
