She’s doing all the pre-chorus harmonies but I definitely hear him and Christine in the choruses. He’s singing the tenor C4 below her E4 lead line. Christine is singing the G5 and Stevie is doubling herself and stacking another one an octave above at E6. Just a huge beautiful stack of harmonies.
@@Basssboyz It’s all good. I went to music school. But I’m still just a drummer. And you and me just sit on the backline and keep that pocket happening and make asses move. That’s all we need to know. Lol.
Stevie's voice was at her peak here. Perfect highs, and lows, fantastic control, incredibly moody. She could do incredible harmonies with the others, and herself, too.
Their harmonies are chilling for sure. But once you hear them this way you can hear and feel how they are completely different in the total mix. Pure magic. I always found Christine's & Lindseys together creates a totally separate thing.
for real .. the high "oooooohhh" harmony that continues in the chorus is one of the best parts of this song. I'm guessing this was Christine McVie doing that harmony but not sure.
This is why people still listen to this close to 50 years after it was released ….talent trumps everything
Crazy that she’s singing this about the guy who’s standing next to her and harmonizing with her on the choruses.
Buckingham only harmonized in live versions. She did all this herself…… I may be wrong, but I’m pretty sure she did all the backing tracks for this.

@@patton303G5? What G5?
Those harmonies give me chills. You really can’t hear much of them with the music added.

Guitarists: Play along with this using an upbeat, snappy, open, C-G-F riff and the song gets strangely positive.
