It's annoying when people go "Not another batman film!" As Chris said, it's a generational character. I've grown up loving (nearly all) the different incarnations of the dark knight and can't wait to see the new version. Yes it's the same comic book character but there are so many places to go with such an icon. Every 10 years or so there will be a new batman for as long as they make movies.

Batman is an iconic character just like the Joker, he is like a myth, a legend, so the different interpretations of the Batman are, in my opinions, different ways that the society looks at that symbol, just like the Joker. I personally didn't like the Tim Burton Batman, but I recognize their quality, they are just not my thing. The latest Joker for example is another more personal way of looking at him, different from Burton or Nolan, it's different versions of the same character, symbol, just like Batman. I can't wait to see what they do with the villains too, it will probably be great.

I’m already liking that this Batman seems like a good balance between the real world approach Nolan took, a nod to the grittier tone of the comics, and arguably one of the darkest versions of Bruce yet. This could be the works of a great next trilogy.

I went to support Tenet Friday on finally getting released. And I was literally the ONLY 1 in the cinema watching it. I get most people don't want to take a dive wearing a mask near 3 hours, but the movie is intense & deserves more praise😌🤗

This is an interesting coincidence, as director Christopher Nolan previously made three Batman films: Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
After seeing Robert Pattinson in Tenet, I think he’s the right man to play Batman With all the right elements like the Dark Knight Trilogy and Joker, this movie could be the next great! Looking forward for this one!

I think one thing is Christopher Nolan’s Batman has one of the most amazing cast for the movie ever. Christian Bale as a billionaire playboy philanthropist couldn’t be a more fitting role. Gary oldman as James gordan is a fit, little on the skinnier side but can’t complain. Michael Caine as Batman’s butler couldn’t be cooler. Morgan Freeman talking about Batman’s tech…I mean, just watch animal planet, it’s beautiful. Robert Pattinson’s batman cast is going to have to be even better to top such an amazing cast with such an amazing production and frankly I think that’s hard to do as these movies have aged so beautifully.
I think while the batman voice for Christopher Nolan’s Batman isn’t my personal favorite, I definitely think Christopher Nolan is probably one of the coolest Bruce Wayne’s while Pattinson is one of the coolest batmans

He most likely doesn’t actually have CoVid. The CDC admitted that 90 percent of the positive tests don’t actually have CoVid. There are two types of tests, the one that checks for the antibodies and the one that checks for the viral load. The antibody test is faulty because it will show positive if you have had any coronavirus in the last 5 years. The CDC also admitted that 94 percent of people who died from CoVid had co Morbidities meaning that only 10,000 people have died from COVID. It’s literally less deadly than the flu.

Let’s hope they can create a fascinating character this time. Christian Bale would be the first to admit that the Nolan’s trilogy greatly underserved the Bruce Wayne/Batman character. Nolan focused on grand scale storytelling, which seemed to suit the Joker’s and Harvey’s narrative in The Dark Knight, but overshadowed Wayne’s who has no layers, no personal conflicts, no purpose. Bruce/Batman is just too simplistic, the journey from disillusioned boy to crime fighter ended in Batman Begins. He can’t have a relationship with Rachel because he lives in the shadows, holding on to the idea of the two together questions his maturity but where does he go from there. The Dark Knight Rises was the opportunity to solve those issues and create a more compelling story arc centered on Bruce. Nolan wanted to go out swinging by going bigger and louder, completely neglecting the character. Bale’s talents were clearly underused.

I have only ever seen Robert Pattinson in one movie, The Lighthouse. He was incredible in that film so I have high hopes for him as The Batman.

I think this version will actually closer to his roots from the comic book. I have liked all the interpretations of Batman outside of the campy ones.

@@logitech2010100speak for yourself, it was definitely great at first viewing as well but on 2nd viewing it's a different experience but that doesn't mean 1st viewing wasn't great, and that's what many people say about Nolan's movies that first viewing isn't great does that make his movies not Great?? It's just his movies are too ahead of time and simpleminded people can't grasp the brilliance of it, they don't understand it thus they don't have a great time and thus they deem the movie as not great but then that's just those people's opinions and it's okay if it is so but then that's just their opinion.

@@logitech2010100 yaa obviously because unlike before it released in the times of Corona, where majority of the theatres around the world are closed ,and even where it's open it's not as active as it was before ,use your common sense man, none of the previous movies of his were released like this in a broken manner ,in the middle of a global pandemic, I myself know many people who refused to come watch it in theatres out of fear and pretty sure that's the case with many many people, so if less people are watching it obviously the ratings won't be like before, duuuuh

Hollywood actors are more surprising than I ever thought it’s like Robert Pattinson can really get into character to play Batman and was interesting in this movie he doesn’t say the words I’m Batman he says I am vengeance it’s a good thing Robert Pattinson is better now and like Christian Bale he can hide his accent in playing Bruce Wayne/Batman Looking forward to it he’s got a good voice for both of it

I was watching nolan & bale batman since 14th march , watched the trilogy and then went for this
& wasn't that excited seeing what I saw , even my friend who saw batman for the first time had an average rating
like I dont know rob is not a perfect fit for batman I felt , rest story direction , intensity was good
I am eagerly waiting for this movie and see how they have used the character this time. This time he is young so he is hot-headed and short tempered Batman thus he is Vengeance. Like Nolan said the character of Batman reinterpretation, yet again! Had this Batman met The Joker in TDK The Batman would have definitely killed him! I think this time the story is about the journey of how he becomes a wise Batman!

I think one thing is Christopher Nolan’s Batman has one of the most amazing cast for the movie ever. Christian Bale as a billionaire playboy philanthropist couldn’t be a more fitting role. Gary oldman as James gordan is a fit, little on the skinnier side but can’t complain. Michael Caine as Batman’s butler couldn’t be cooler. Morgan Freeman talking about Batman’s tech…I mean, just watch animal planet, it’s beautiful. Robert Pattinson’s batman cast is going to have to be even better to top such an amazing cast with such an amazing production and frankly I think that’s hard to do as these movies have aged so beautifully.
I think while the batman voice for Christopher Nolan’s Batman isn’t my personal favorite, I definitely think Christopher Nolan is probably one of the coolest Bruce Wayne’s while Pattinson is one of the coolest batmans

He most likely doesn’t actually have CoVid. The CDC admitted that 90 percent of the positive tests don’t actually have CoVid. There are two types of tests, the one that checks for the antibodies and the one that checks for the viral load. The antibody test is faulty because it will show positive if you have had any coronavirus in the last 5 years. The CDC also admitted that 94 percent of people who died from CoVid had co Morbidities meaning that only 10,000 people have died from COVID. It’s literally less deadly than the flu.

The most mature and realistic interpretation of Batman was made by Christopher Nolan and played by Christian Bale other versions were either cartoonish or like a comic. However this one also looks good from the trailer

Let’s hope they can create a fascinating character this time. Christian Bale would be the first to admit that the Nolan’s trilogy greatly underserved the Bruce Wayne/Batman character. Nolan focused on grand scale storytelling, which seemed to suit the Joker’s and Harvey’s narrative in The Dark Knight, but overshadowed Wayne’s who has no layers, no personal conflicts, no purpose. Bruce/Batman is just too simplistic, the journey from disillusioned boy to crime fighter ended in Batman Begins. He can’t have a relationship with Rachel because he lives in the shadows, holding on to the idea of the two together questions his maturity but where does he go from there. The Dark Knight Rises was the opportunity to solve those issues and create a more compelling story arc centered on Bruce. Nolan wanted to go out swinging by going bigger and louder, completely neglecting the character. Bale’s talents were clearly underused.
