How do you find the sound of the TV? Would you say a soundbar is needed, looking to do the same myself but 50/50 on the soundbar situation

I did contemplate it myself, but to be honest it doesn’t drown out the noise at all. That being said, a soundbar or a surround sound system would add a lot.
