That's how to deal with some people. At work once, I had a customer on the phone being a complete *******. Eventually she said "I don't like your attitude" so I replied in an enthusiastic voice, "Do you want me to put you through to someone else? I really _do not_ mind." She was rather quieter and more polite after that.
When you deal with customers, you develop a bottom line, real quick. When people come in, to make trouble, you cut straight to the bottom line. I used to tell them to leave now, and call the sheriff to trespass them. There's no discussion of anything. Leave now, and the sheriff is on the way.

I'm actually a pronoun warrior myself, but in a "conservative"-ish way. Basically what I do is: when there's a video with a clear male voice in it, or it's mentioning some male name (like Daniel for example), and the comments go with "they" and "them", then I just correct the commenter, who in my opinion should've put "he" and "him" instead

I heard him talking to a homeowner once when he was out of my sight and I could have sworn the homeowner was talking to another woman, not my coworker, which was a man, lol. As someone who has two best friends who are REAL transgenders, this shit pisses me off. My best friend Tony is female to male, when I first met him when we were 10, I thought the mf was born a male, until I learned his biological name. Four years later he transitioned, and honestly, no one was surprised. My friend Hailey (male to female) took a bit longer to come out, but you could tell for years that either she was gay or she might’ve been trans. Well turns out we were right about the trans part lol Real transgender people don’t go around parading it like it’s a trend or try to victimize themselves. Real trans people have to go through gender therapy, then get on hormones, THEN save up money for their surgeries if they so choose to get them done. I myself am not trans, I am a born female and identify as such, as well as bisexual, but god- this person in this video sickens me. Basically what I do is: when there's a video with a clear male voice in it, or it's mentioning some male name (like Daniel for example), and the comments go with "they" and "them", then I just correct the commenter, who in my opinion should've put "he" and "him" instead

As someone who has two best friends who are REAL transgenders, this shit pisses me off. My best friend Tony is female to male, when I first met him when we were 10, I thought the mf was born a male, until I learned his biological name. Four years later he transitioned, and honestly, no one was surprised. My friend Hailey (male to female) took a bit longer to come out, but you could tell for years that either she was gay or she might’ve been trans. Well turns out we were right about the trans part lol

The thing is imagine I start saying something that does offend you but hardly anyone else.
Let me give you an example. When I was a teen I was on a trip ( not acid but a holiday) with my Father and Stepmother.
Bear in mind I knew her by her first name. I had my own Mother whom I lived with back then.
Anyway, the Hotel lady asked :" Is She your son's Mum", to my Father. My Father replied :" Yes" simply because it was less embarrassing or more convenient.
The thing is that although in law my Father's wife is my StepMother she certainly wasn't my Mother.
A simple no reply would have been adequate.
It's water under the bridge now but I think everyone will be offended by something that they think will conflict with their identity in some way.
Now, obviously, this guy/girl or whatever is being an arse but then again how difficult can it be to say she or he in the right place?
It's very obvious that the debate itself is motivated by Transphobia & perhaps some other forms of discrimination.
