I was working on my bachelor's, but life shows up and I now have to make money or be homeless. Thank you for this video! So I'm in one of those jobs where I'm trapped out of promotion by office politics and tenure. I've been here 3.5 yrs and I'm in a senior csr position. I'm also part of an additional team, which is the top 13 agents in our department of 130 or so. I didnt even get an interview when I put in an application for the next level. I'm super burnt out and the pay is barely enough fo live. I want to be in control of my own income.
I review sales calls half my day at work and finding out these bumbling fools make 3x what I make was an extreme eye opener.
I think I have unique qualifiers based on previous experience, world class interaction ability inbound or outbound(I do both in my current role), and I am a very quick learner who regularly has to work with other departments including corporate teams on project resolution. I keep hearing all these different sales job types and I'm wondering which you think is the absolute best for someone who is experienced enough on calls and selling(I have to sell incentives daily without any commission) to really hit the ground running?
By sales job types I mean like B2C, B2B, Saas, inbound closing, etc...

If you put in 5 hours a week in any activity you will get better at it. I want to do the same job when I’m older just not in a club or 1/2 naked 😂 it’s the hustle for me. I don’t want to but I am forcing myself to go to college because I don’t want to be 40 and dancing. I’ve applied for so many jobs and most of them reject me or are a scam because I lack a degree and experience. It sucks but we might as well knock it out while we have the time, resources, money, and energy to do so. That piece of paper will give us more opportunities. I’m 25 and not giving up. We can do it! You can not get into pharmaceutical sales without a B.A. or BS. MINIMIUM, a GPA over 3.0. and 5 yrs experience. I work pharma sales for 3 yrs and tried to get another position after my contract was up only to be told I did have enough experience. Well, how do I get experience if I can't get a job to get the experience? They don't care! Now they want a MBA, OR an RN, or experience with a 3.8 GPA. If you don't have any of those you get the middle finger from the companies you apply to.
