- I realized after I edited the video that I had AGOT+ installed while showing off the houses so some of the sigils and characters will look different -- House Connington actually has red hair in the base game for example. Sorry about that!
Hope you like the video anyway.

There's nothing like playing as Ser Harlaus of ButterWell
All hail Harlaus of Swadia
@@timer3770 The true heir to the iron throne
let the feast begin -- when there's a siege of course.
@OverseerOlaf Basically Mace Tyrell during Robert's rebellion
Someone has read the hedgeknight… love that you included all the houses from the stories
Big fan of it to be honest. Probably some of the best writing George has ever done in my opinion.
Reviving the fortunes of House Osgrey was one of my favourite challenges in the CK2 version of the mod. I'd roll the date back to just before Eustace died and play from there... I liked to land Bennis and Dunk if I could keep their services for long enough, Denying the Targs possibly their best ever Kingsguard and gleefully overseeing a rivalry between the new Houses Tall and Brownshield... :)
Dunk would be granted Standfast, naturally.
I like House Chelstead in the Crownlands a lot. You are pretty much a young lone count who’s father (the former hand of the king) was killed directly by the Mad King. You also are directly under the monarch and can work to consolidate the Crowlands or take another path.
That’s a great one. May have to put them in another of these videos.
the Forrester sword is supposed to be a non valyrian steel heirloom
Oh interesting
somehow after I went through telltale GOT, I always thought its valyrian but it not.
I recommend playing A Game of Thrones Telltale game, the way house Forrester is presented and fleshed out actually makes them one of the best campaigns and what if scenarios.
I’ve heard it was good but unfinished
@@Soul_Tomato they was going for a sequel but Telltale shut down for a few years. They recently been revitalized and are planning to release sequels to some games like Wolf Among Us. It's definitely worth a playthrough though.
@@kharilonesome6903Unfortunately even with Telltale’s return, we probably won’t get a sequel anytime soon, as Telltale doesn’t have the rights to Game of Thrones anymore. It’s why the game isn’t sold on steam or other online stores anymore.
I don’t play Ck3 but I love Aisof, one underrated house is Paege. They’re right on the trident and almost in the center of the map.
These videos are cool man!
Thank you!
House Brune is another good one. They rule over just one county in the Crownlands but their ancestors ruled over all of Crackclaw Point. Reclaiming their ancestors’ dutchy is a fun goal as it’s fairly large. They’re also known to be strong and savage warriors so you can go for being one of the stronger military forces in the Crownlands.
Oh I think I’ve seen that house on the map. Like a northern house but in the crow lands. Very cool.
@@Soul_TomatoLothor Brune is a character in the novel series who doesn’t appear in the show. He starts out as a free rider but gains his knighthood and the nickname Apple-Eater because he cut his way through Ser Jon Fossoway’s men at arms and half a dozen of his knights to then kill Ser Jon himself.
@@slimdiddyd Poor apple bois but very cool for Lothor.
One I thoroughly enjoyed was playing house clegane!
A great choice!
"Probably the edgiest and most gamer house"
Fastest like I have given.
Hahaha
Very nice one
Ty
Should do similar video for Realms in exile if you play the LOTR overhaul
Wouldn’t be opposed to that. I’ve read basically everything Tolkien so I could probably lend some knowledge to it.
Could you link me to that mount and blade warband thing about house butterwell you mentioned?

Play House Forrester, mainly from knowing it from the game, it was a fun run but the kids suck unless the first character and his heir that you'll play. Was differently fun, lost a lot in the feud but won in the and took over all of the ironwoods. Main problem I had was trying to form the Duchy, had enough titles to create but was count under another duck and just was a bit annoying so I stopped. Also the Targaryens won the war but the title of the seven kingdoms disappears at some point and I swapped characters to try see if there was an option to make it again or what happened but found no answers
TLDR House Forrester is definitely a fun pick
They def added some nice flavor for the TellTale Game
I went to war with Glover and declare independence. continue getting the rest of wolfwoods and usurp duchy. then I conquered the mountains northeast of the wolfwoods, inherit house Umber land and took bear island. then I went war with Stark. create new Kingdom called "Ironwood". its eight kingdoms now.
Lol did my Dunk and Egg comment from the other day inspire the osgrey, peak and butterwell choices?
Could be, could be
Could also be why fossoway is in the next one (although I actually just like them too)
Another good video! I'll have to try Banefort or Corbray
house farwynd of lonely light playing tall game
Got them in the next video
I didnt know house forester was an actuall house, i thought it was just made up for the game
They are indeed, although only mentioned once in the book if I remember right. It's just a sentence.
BEing Connington gain allies kill renly make stannis the leader of stormlands then ask for paramouncy
Positive Jon Con behavior
House reyne is fun
Indeed
Looks like they did make Lyn gay. I wonder if they also gave him the deviant secret?
If a man is worthy to swing a sword as famous as Lady Forlorn I don’t care into what he swings his personal blade - but that is a good question.
@@Soul_Tomato Well that is the question isn’t it. When Petyr says Lyn Corbray is into “boys” does he mean kids or just dudes?
@@obviousalias132 since its Petyr I'd assume its just dudes
House Forrester was created solely for the Telltale game they don't exist in GRMM books
Not necessarily true. They’re just so minor they are almost not a house. But they do exist as a minor house sworn to House Glover and are mentioned basically once ever in Dance.
Yeah, not true. They def exist and are in the books as well…
