as someone who is from NY and used to live in Oahu, you made the right decision. I miss HI all the time and it is not worth settling in NY. You would of had smaller space and its more expensive to live here than the island. So happy for you and I'm excited to see how it all comes together :).

I moved out for the first time last year at 22 (turning 23 same month, but damn girl you are so ahead and so blessed to get a place by yourself! I'm thrilled for this new chapter!!! Me and my family spent many days apartment hunting to buy something and i loved it!!! I think that when we are seeing apartments we try to find a huge place but at the end of the day i would love to have a little cozy place to live...its easier to clean and quicker to warm up in winter (in Hawaii is not really a problem....😅).
