Which celebrity would you love to learn about on "Who Do You Think You Are"? Top 10 Heartbreaking Who Do You Think You Are Revelations ruclips.net/video/sHsCgb5WCwg/видео.html
Tom jones should go on finding your roots on pbs in America since that’s where the big celebrities go anyway lol aside from Tom Christopher Eccleston is the only one of these people anyone outside of the uk would know! Finding your roots has had the biggest stars on earth
I'm sure some of the rejected ones were disappointed because THEY would have found their family history interesting but that doesn't mean it's of interest to a wider audience. (Bit like those "wonderful" holiday photos your neighbour thinks you'd want to look at too!)
What irks me about the show is how the celebs obviously fake tha fact that the don't know anything about their ancestors when they clearly do know quite a bit in many cases- all done for dramatic effect of course! Remember- it's television and nothing is ever quite what it appears to be! Michael Parkinson was the first celebrities to announce he'd been rejected by the show.
@@VampyRagDoll I think that means mixed raced. But he comes from Wales. and Wales is part of an island. And there are ports. And if items, goods, spices come from all over the world, so can people. But that wouldn't be something people who don't like 'woke' would like to see, innit?
That is just silly. They've done episodes with 2 people before, just do group episodes. I'm sure they can figure out a way to make it fun & tie it all together. Give me a call if you need help 😂
Why is this a surprise? Why on earth wouldn't the programmers only want to show stories that would be of interest? To be honest, though I like the programme and have watched some fascinating episodes others have been frankly boring - so if other stories were even worse, thank goodness they were weeded out.
I would have thought that this list would have had a few incidents like the "Armstrong & Miller Show" sketch where the show reveals the guy's ancestry and it's all hookers.
If they would just figure out when and where my people came to the US in the 1700's and before. I know I have a couple of famous relatives although they might be cousins instead of straight line. That and I'm almost 100% from Britain.
Half the celebs go on these shows coz they either forgotten washed up or trying rekindle their careers. Act like what happened to their ancestor/s is the end of the world

Finding interesting angles out of people too boring for Who Do You Think You Are. Kudos.
It's nice for celebs to get a reality check that their lives aren't as interesting as they thought.
Yet... they are all more interesting than you!
Except it's not about their lives, it's about their ancestors' lives.
Wow, Tom Jones' voice is still on point!
How is Steph McGovern a 'veteran' broadcaster? She's 42 FFS!
Could be because she has been a broadcaster for many years. I don't think it has anything to do with her age.
Call up the ancestors! Ask them for a couple of pirates, a 19th century human rights activist and a military general or two!
Stacey and Kevin are NOT married! They live together and have a daughter but are definitely NOT married...

Do they do some sort of cursory check beforehand to make sure their ancestry is at least a little bit interesting? 😂
Michael Parkinson was also a reject.
I thought the Richard Osman episode was a bit strange, as they didn’t mention his famous brother, Mat.

How is he mixed race?
Yes it’s very probable which would make his family background very interesting.
