First step, use the first AI SOP to create an SOP for using AI to create SOP’s in your business. Sounds super silly but would help most people I know have a template for the way they think about the process.
I did the same, except I hand wrote the SOP. When I feed the How to Write SOPs doc to ChatGPT first it spits out much better SOPs. I also have an SOP for how to break complicated procedures into sub SOPs. I haven't tried feeding any of @LaylaPomper 's videos to ChatGPT first, but that would be a very low effort way to start!

So why not just write down what you do instead of adding the whole process of needing to record a video, copy the transcript and pasting it.... I can see if you're showing somebody else or if someone is showing this to you over video.... Thanks for all the good info and tips
Is an SOP video - ie the video you created and transcripted - not a more engaging way to convey SOPs than a document? I'm genuinely curious about which method is better for employees
it depends on the task at hand for example when i'm trying to remember how to setup my code or configurations i prefer having text it's faster to skim through and jup my memory, but when i try to remember how to do certain things in software, for example Blender (3d modeling/animaiton) I prefer reffering to a video because i don't have to search for the right button in the menus i just need to look it up on the video. Google includes Gemini AI and works with all Workspace tools
