What myths have you debunked around making your business a well-oiled machine? I feel like it was hard to get them ALL into this video. 🤪

Oof, hard relate at 10:30. "I was guilty early on of thinking that things had to be hard in order for it to be worth working." The advice on keeping it simple is a nice reminder. "Accept that ease is our baseline." So well said.

In Uganda. Great insights. Complex issues simplified. Proactive routines ( actually SOPs)reduce tasks (issues) and prioritizing process over project are key for business stability and growth.

I agree with almost everything you are saying. Thank you for another inspirational video. One thing I have come up against is we actually needed to broaden our services and not reduce them. It's very difficult to find the right practitioners for my business so I stopped trying to find them, maxed out the services we were able to offer by that one person and then added other types of services that are unrelated but act as a sales Funnel. I now feel like I can find people to hire and not rely on over working my original staff.

Processes over projects! That is a great little phrase to keep me on track and stop me being distracted. Website is the perfect example.
I’m a squeaky machine at the moment but slowly adding oil to all the different parts. Have a ClickUp form that creates a new lead in my client space. That was one nice bit of automation. Need a lot more oil still though

Why do I think you're referring to me when you refer to decades of bad habits and practices around systemization? 😉 It's a good thing that my business is still lots of fun. Great video as usual. Small or big, you need systems and you also need to remember to review them occasionally. Problems and solving them is what makes life/business interesting for some of us. The trick is to create them yourself while trying to improve the business but keep them at a level where the day to day operations are not impacted negatively.

This is a simple but great reminder of what I need to be doing. I tried to watch the video you linked by submitting my info in the form but it says I can’t watch the video because of the privacy settings. Will I receive a link to the video, as I really want to watch it.

I'm preoccupied trying to come up with synonyms for "well-oiled machine." Maybe... "fluid operation." "Integrated system." "Efficient ecosystem..."

Hi Layla, the subscription form of the blueprint page doesn't work. You should add a periodic check to this in your process 🙂 (just kidding).

So sorry for the glitch! We're actively working on this now to fix it ASAP! (But, for the record, we do have a monthly routine to review it. 😜 It seems to have broken in between checks!)
