I love traditional lever guns. What I love even more, though, is light weight and weather-proof polymer because I also hunt with a lever gun. (Pretty brass guns are nice for impressing people at the range, but when you're neck-deep into the woods you definitely want practicality.) And a peep sight? Oh yeah! This is the first gun in a while that's got my absolute attention! (Not that it matters because I'm broke at the moment. lol)
I just put a .357 version on layaway locally. I love this one.! I really wanted a .357 mate for my new Taurus 692 .357 blacked finish revolver. Fits my 5/8-24 thread on my direct mount can. ;)
Rossi is really putting out some nice stuff lately. I handled one of the original R95’s the other day and it was very nice. My only minor complaint was, their “checkering” which is more like stippling, doesn’t offer much traction. But I look at levers like the Henry All-Weather and they don’t have checkering, neither does the laminate version of the R95 or this…although this has some texture in the finish. Nice to see them offering what the lever gun community seems to be asking for, also neat to see what Ranger Point Precision is offering for them…their accessories rock!
You’d be surprised how little velocity you lose by trimming 3.5” off the barrel. You gain a lot of utility in close quarters situations, like brush hunting…which also limits the distance of your shots. So, keep application in mind…it’s not designed for long range precision.
Really like you guys but I bought a Heritage 9shot 22mag/22lr from you that never worked worth a damn, action didn’t even cycle…shouldn’t have left your warehouse…
You can't blame them. That's a manufacturer issue.. I bought a savage msr 10 (ar10) in 308. Turned out to be the biggest POS I wish I never bought but it's savage not them.
Send it back to heritage for them to fix. Mine hasn’t had any issues, though it is a 6 shot model. These issues don’t fall on KYGC, they don’t manufacture them, they just sell them. You can also look into getting a Ruger Wrangler which doesn’t cost much more.
My apologies. Did I miss the price of the MSRP?

Hey Patrick looking good! We've been really enjoying these new R95 rifles. We expect to have many more aftermarket parts for it next year.
You guys have the best accessories for lever guns, hands down!
That Rossi Looks awesome
Tactical lever actions are very cool.Great video.
I have been looking at tactical lever guns lately. This one checks quite a few of the boxes for what I want. Thanks!
Great review! I just bought one from my local store. Which muzzle brake is this? Do you have a link? I’m really wanting to get one!

More tactical lever actions please! Waiting for my SilencerCo Hybrid 46M to get out of jail
Be cooler if it had a place to mount a flashlight or had M-Lok slots.
Good thing for the design being that you can get a hand guard with spots to mount lights on. I’ve noticed a lot of people use Ranger Precision
Exactly as previously mentioned…can trick it out with Ranger Point Precision and make it as tacticool as you want

Can I send my R95 that i just purchased from you back??? Let's swap lol
Just gotta add another one to the collection
16.50" barrel? Seems kind of short for .30-30.
