I remember Gino Reda calling it fan appreciation night in Quebec when he pounded the fan who ran onto the ice and went to the Sabres bench

Great interview. Just watched the Ray vs Brown tilt and yeah Ray sure did get in a couple dingers at the end there. Good one.

I knew he'd say the Dave Brown fight as his most memorable. That was impressive (back in 1992-93)

I have been saying for years that it Mr. what are you gonna do!!? Ryan Reaves played back then he would not be anywhere close to as tough as he thinks he is in today’s game.

Ryan Reeves wouldn't of even been in the nhl

John tell me when you where in Buffalo why did you want to fight Lucia so bad. He always seemed to pick his fights. Plus what he did to Miller.

Ask who was the top 5 toughest every interview please. Also who where the tough guys in junior?

Famous tough guys jerseys should be retired from the NHL. Bob probert/Dave Brown. And the list can just go on. These guys were huge contributors to the teams!! A lot of people came to the arena just to see these guys!! At least retire their jerseys at least give them that much respect 🙏👌smh

    "little things " Ray ??
I wouldn't call what you pulled "little tricks"..
What you pulled was a joke.. didn't even wear an undershirt..

And then he was in the league for a decade after the rule was made and was a better fighter. Figured out he was a power puncher with a hard head. Dropped a lot of much bigger opponents.

I wa salways a Bruins fan, so naturally, I hated teams like Buffalo and Montreal--and the players on those teams. But Ray was a respectable player. He was a throwback player who, for his size, had balls. He represented the Sabres well in his 13+ years of service.
