ST170 front splitter | MK1 RS Splitter

Hello everyone,
Today I will be trying to fit a MK1 Focus RS front splitter on my ST170. The only problem is this isn't a straight forward job it involves a little cutting.
If I cut it too short it will not look right leaving me having to find another splitter.
Can I do it without messing it up?
