  • Hello everyone,
Today I have received a set of Metal Monkey instrument cluster dials to replace the standard ST170 (White/Green) ones.
These have came from my friend Gemma after she decided to strip and sell her ST170.
With her choice to strip the car, there were some amazing rare and desired parts that she had gotten over the years.
Thank you Gemma for the dials.

no mate that is to do with the light switch unit itself... you need to replace the potentiometer in the switch to stop the lights flickering... if you send me a message on my social media I can send you a picture of what you need to replace 🤓👍

@@rctankchannelone7558 It is easy to fix. Or you can replace the headlight switch if you have spare. Dimmer makes the flicker problem.

I don't want to criticized you work BUT problem with these dials and needles is, you must put the needle to exactly the same spot, as you remove it and if you check the video, the needle of the oil temp is little bit low so the reading now is not correct. Same is the speed needle. You shoul check if the speed match the GPS speed on your phone because common mistake is the used did not put back the needle correctly and speed reading is not right. No offence.

none taken buddy I respect your comment and add that before I assembled the case I plugged them in and checked them against my OBD live data and except for the engine idle and the engine temp being slightly out they were spot on... the small needles have a pin on the back to sit between the gauges entire sweep... I appreciate the comment and added information given for anyone else who needs it 🤓👍
