Another great video! You have me wanting to venture into pulling crankbaits this year. I’ve set the boat up to do so now. Can’t wait.
Can't wait till the water clears up a little on Grenada,Enid and Sardis. Can't wait to start sending Fred some pics of his hard working cranks that make the technique so easy. Been using his baits for a long time. Great guy, and so was our dear sportsman Tommy Skarlis. Always enjoyed pulling against you and him on the trail in Mississippi.
Great video
As always, a great video. Thanks for taking us along. Hope to see more tolling in the future.
One of the things we do up north pulling cranks is we leave the bale open but will set the clickers to hold the bait at depths but when the bait gets hit we know immediately
Enjoyed your video!
Really appreciate your videos
Awesome thank you for all the tips
Thx Mike! Love your videos!!
Great informational video, Mike. God Bless....
Great video we were in otter Creek that same day fished hard we only caught 10 crappie all day 3 of us they were not on the bank when we left water temperature was 66.3 sure thought they would have been on the bank
Love your trolling videos 😊
I need to try this on Table Rock. Great info!
Great video Mike. Looking forward to watching more trolling videos. I’ve gotten addicted to trolling so much that I had to force myself to fish the bank for the spawners the other day.
As always another great video
Hey mike which crankbaits do you like best all year long?
Good fishing Mike. I would like to see you make a video on how you lay down a track when you troll.. I always lay one down as I'm trolling. I would like to see how you do it. Thanks Mike.
Can you show how to "make a track" on one of your videos? I always watch especially when the weather is bad. By the way... great video.
Interesting!
I've tried that Arkie 350 clown numerous times, I don't think I've ever caught a fish on it
Another Excellent video! Thanks mr baker!
Good catch,is this Lake down like 15-20 ft? looks like a lot of exposed bank an structure. Thanks for the Video Mike
Normal pool when this video was shot.
Hello Mike, Great video as usual. I always learn so much from watching your videos. I have a question about your boat. I saw the video of your SeaArk Protege when you first bought it. I'm looking at new boats and that model is the one I'm seriously considering. Do you have any regrets about buying that model and brand? I primarily catfish and crappie fish and sold my Triton a few months back. Any feedback on it would be very much appreciated. Thanks Mike, keep the videos coming!!!
Mr. Baker I always look forward to seeing your new video that come out!! I noticed your tool holder on your boat at the back where did you get it from? I've seen white but I want black to go with my boats colors.
I can’t remember. I will have to look at it. If you Google “boat tool holders” there are a lot of black ones listed.
So is this a different boat just for catfish and trolling?
Mike, who made your rod holders? Can you show us how they mount?
Mike besides the 3 Delta colors used in the video what other colors do you like? I fish SW Missouri and Beaver Lake in NW Arkansas.
Too many to list!😀 I like them all.
I didn't see it happen in the video, but do you catch a variety of species trolling the crank baits? If not, can you explain why?
Sometimes.
That boat sure is loud
Is it not too early for the crankbait? I wouldn't think they would be that deep with the water being only 61 degrees?
Watch and see.😀
Are you just using bass tackle. Rod length?
Basically. 7 1/2’
Mike I would like to have your opinion on a subject. Do you think pulling crankbaits would be as effective where there is only black crappie as it is for the white crappie. Have watched a lot of videos on pulling crankbaits but haven't noticed any black crappie caught. I do most of my crappie fishing in Fla where there is only black crappie.
I have caught both. Certainly more whites because they are predominate in the waters I fish. Interesting question. Let me know how it turns out in your waters.
Thanks for the comeback Mike. All your videos are interesting, entertaining, and educational. Your videos are very professional. You are doing a great job of educating lots of folks in the sport of fishing. Keep up the great work.
I do this in northeast Florida and the black crappie hammer the crankbaits. I run side planers to get my spread wider. Been successful in spring and summer
I really like the bandit with the black and silver belly but you never use that one why?
I do use it. Have caught a lot of fish on it. It may not have made a video but that doesn’t mean I don’t use it. My guess is, if you go back through all my crankin videos, you will see it.
@@MikeBakerVideos I will thank you
Don't your inside rods run much shallower with them standing up in the holders??
Not much.
What speed do you pull them. Looks fun.
1.6
Mike was that rod a medium action or medium light action. Love the videos
I’m also curious about this
Medium
@@MikeBakerVideos thanks
Do you run straight braid on your setup ?
I don’t run braid. 8 lb. High vis K-9 fluorocarbon.
You make me tired going up and down the step
Why 8lb line
Let’s the dive deeper.
Thank you for the reply
Chunk that bait cutting table lol
