    Another great video! You have me wanting to venture into pulling crankbaits this year. I’ve set the boat up to do so now. Can’t wait.

    Can't wait till the water clears up a little on Grenada,Enid and Sardis. Can't wait to start sending Fred some pics of his hard working cranks that make the technique so easy. Been using his baits for a long time. Great guy, and so was our dear sportsman Tommy Skarlis. Always enjoyed pulling against you and him on the trail in Mississippi.

    One of the things we do up north pulling cranks is we leave the bale open but will set the clickers to hold the bait at depths but when the bait gets hit we know immediately

    Great video Mike. Looking forward to watching more trolling videos. I’ve gotten addicted to trolling so much that I had to force myself to fish the bank for the spawners the other day.

    Good fishing Mike. I would like to see you make a video on how you lay down a track when you troll.. I always lay one down as I'm trolling. I would like to see how you do it. Thanks Mike.

    Hello Mike, Great video as usual. I always learn so much from watching your videos. I have a question about your boat. I saw the video of your SeaArk Protege when you first bought it. I'm looking at new boats and that model is the one I'm seriously considering. Do you have any regrets about buying that model and brand? I primarily catfish and crappie fish and sold my Triton a few months back. Any feedback on it would be very much appreciated. Thanks Mike, keep the videos coming!!!

    Mr. Baker I always look forward to seeing your new video that come out!! I noticed your tool holder on your boat at the back where did you get it from? I've seen white but I want black to go with my boats colors.

    • @MikeBakerVideos
      @MikeBakerVideos  4 месяца назад

      I can’t remember. I will have to look at it. If you Google “boat tool holders” there are a lot of black ones listed.

    Mike besides the 3 Delta colors used in the video what other colors do you like? I fish SW Missouri and Beaver Lake in NW Arkansas.

    I didn't see it happen in the video, but do you catch a variety of species trolling the crank baits? If not, can you explain why?

    Is it not too early for the crankbait? I wouldn't think they would be that deep with the water being only 61 degrees?

    Are you just using bass tackle. Rod length?

  • @larrykidd6113

    Mike I would like to have your opinion on a subject. Do you think pulling crankbaits would be as effective where there is only black crappie as it is for the white crappie. Have watched a lot of videos on pulling crankbaits but haven't noticed any black crappie caught. I do most of my crappie fishing in Fla where there is only black crappie.

    • @MikeBakerVideos
      @MikeBakerVideos  4 месяца назад

      I have caught both. Certainly more whites because they are predominate in the waters I fish. Interesting question. Let me know how it turns out in your waters.

      I do this in northeast Florida and the black crappie hammer the crankbaits. I run side planers to get my spread wider. Been successful in spring and summer

      I do use it. Have caught a lot of fish on it. It may not have made a video but that doesn’t mean I don’t use it. My guess is, if you go back through all my crankin videos, you will see it.
