I looked up the OG video. The goalie got involved bc some guy cheap shot him while a scuffle had started. It was the goalie and 2 other dudes jumping the guy that cheap shot him. Basically everybody on the white team was fighting. Everyone, except the goalie, from the red team was fighting too. A lot of other people were saying it’s a respectable call-out, the goalies hockey stick is the loudest in the arena, and it had been a long time since there’s been a goalie fight, yadda, yadda yadda. But I can see how it’s a respectable call out.
The fact that the other goalie was already fully immersed in a big brawl with several others, and still somehow heard the sound of the other goalie issuing the challenge with the stick slaps, who is on the other half of the ice, & the way he pops out of the brawl and immediately starts towards the challenger, is nothing short of absolutely epic. I've seen a couple, and honestly it's one of the few sports left that politics haven't really touched because Hockey allows fighting within reason. Plus there's always the chance you get a fight so you pay for a Hockey game and get a boxing match all for the price of one!
My family is from Canada. All of them played on my mother’s side. If it weren’t for volleyball I might have played field hockey. I’m in NC. It’s definitely fun. Idk. That’s a lot of running long distances and I am not that fast for long, never was. Bursts. Volleyball you get to knock people unconscious. Teehee.

For those unfamiliar, in hockey when the camera shakes violently it's because the entire crowd has just jumped to their feet and started pounding on the glass in excitement. 💪🏻
It was the stick... he slams it on the ground close enough to the pile that the opposing goalie heard it, even though he was mid fight iside the pile. The goalies stick sounds different slamming the ice than other sticks. Additionally, it's against the rules and also a sign of disrespect by being a goalie on the opponents half of the ice, even if just by one inch.

I've seen a couple, and honestly it's one of the few sports left that politics haven't really touched because Hockey allows fighting within reason. Plus there's always the chance you get a fight so you pay for a Hockey game and get a boxing match all for the price of one!
My family is from Canada. All of them played on my mother’s side. If it weren’t for volleyball I might have played field hockey. I’m in NC. It’s definitely fun. Idk. That’s a lot of running long distances and I am not that fast for long, never was. Bursts. Volleyball you get to knock people unconscious. Teehee.

It was the stick... he slams it on the ground close enough to the pile that the opposing goalie heard it, even though he was mid fight iside the pile. The goalies stick sounds different slamming the ice than other sticks. Additionally, it's against the rules and also a sign of disrespect by being a goalie on the opponents half of the ice, even if just by one inch.
Goalie may already be in a fight, but when the call to action is sounded, you heed the call.
