I’ve worked for BMW dealerships for over 20 years now and I consider myself lucky to have started back then when BMW used to make cars instead of manufacturing them like it is now. Maybe one day the company will get back to that, a drivers car company.
I am from Libya and i also grew up loving bmws since i was a kid. Me being the youngest older siblings all had bmw when i was kid and neighbors called us the bmw family 😂. Now I live in the United States me and my older sister we kept the family tradition by owning bmws .
This is cool. It's a shame BMW themselves felt the need to disrespect vintage BMW enthusiasts like these with their EV marketing. Feels like BMW is set on a completely different customer base now. Heated seat subscriptions, but no manual gearbox in 90% of what they offer? I have to buy a Supra to get a B58 with a 6 speed? Not the company I grew up loving.
The heated seat subscription thingy still completely baffles me... How on earth is anybody willing to actually pay for this?!?! If i go to a dealership to buy a brand new car for multiple 10´s of thousands of dollar and they would dare to make this BS of an offer, i would instantly leave and spend my money somewhere else! What a freakin joke...
@@Schmitzelhaus I agree, the heated seat hardware is rolled into the price of the car since they all come with it preinstalled, BMW then has the balls to put a paywall around it? It seems to me they're just trying to save on production costs (less configurations = less logistics to deal with in the factory) while making the customers pay for it. On top of them turning their back on enthusiasts, I can't really call myself a BMW fan anymore. They still make a few things I like, but it's not the brand it used to be.
