I don’t have a clear plate but made my own by taking an extra and cutting the lower half off with a dermal. I put it in a vise and got to cutting. Not an armor’s plate but a JARG plate

Just in case anyone here cuz their trigger is stiff/binding not resetting.. I tracked mine down to just being the trigger pin was super tight in trigger. It was sadly the last thing I checked lol so thought I'd share cuz it is literally a 2 sec check while u have trigger out. Fixed mine by just twisting a 4mil drill bit thru it by hand until pin spun easily, but not sloppy. Hope it helps!

I thought my 43 was fine until I tried to test fire it and nothing happened. The pin never touched the primer. I tried the fix you suggested in the last video about heating and slightly bending the end of the trigger assembly but still having trouble. The pin isn't poking through the little hole at all. I ordered an OEM trigger assembly that has only a few rounds run through it so we'll see what happens. I believe your video was correct but I couldn't figure out the correct angle to bend it. @@nicolenunya6856 you sure the safety plunger is being depressed? Depending on what you're working with, you might be able to take off the slide release lever; and use the little window in the frame as a view port to see if the sharkfin is contacting that plunger the right way.
So ur the guy with the answers im sure of this.. my first and only build, the issue i have is kinda a feed problem, its not modified in any way as far as function, the issue i have is some times it fires 2 rounds for one squeeze., Sone people would love that, but not me, i care about accuracy, not crowd pleasing.. given since built its only had 78 rounds put through it.. model, p80 g17 fullsize
Please help I have a Glock 27 gen 3 .40 and the trigger bar shark fin doesn't come down off of the safety button it is also rubbing the bottom of the slide AND CATCHING ON THE EXTRACTOR also the connector is hitting the backplate itself BEFORE the ramp causing it to stay pushed over at all times even on the low parts I just got the gun last week everything looks off but it seems to cycle and reset just fine I've fired 3 rounds through it but I think im going to order a new trigger bar and connector soon
@@JARG the mag, but even when I take it out its still loose and out of function, there's no tension between the spring to hold it down, if I was to flick it up it would stay up instead of snapping back in place
Can u do a video on when u rack a bullet in the Glock chamber it will shoot the one u rack but trigger will just be dead after first shot unless u rack it again
A buddy of mine built one, and when he put a compensator on it, the trigger would not fully engage. It would drop without doing anything to the firing pin. Any ideas on what happened?

Can you do a video on the double fire problem, it fires when you squeeze the trigger, then it fires again when you release the trigger. Lol the only way I can shoot it without it double firing is to put a handgrip on the front rail below the barrel, kinda weird.

Hey I gotta question on my Glock 26 the firing pin sometimes don’t come out when you pull the trigger so it don’t shoot all the time with one in chamber, I got like a $40 internals kit in it ? Should I get a Glock firing pin?
The problem I have with one of them I have built is double taps and then not resetting the trigger afterwards And then the slide not seating properly sometimes
Can you help me? I have a glock 19 oem frame and an aftermarket slide. The slide i built and the oem frame i only replaced the slide release and mag release, everything else in the frame is stock. Its the first short on my channel i think with the holluson optic. But i took to the range today. i went through about 80 rounds and it malfunctioned about 10 times. Some mags functioned with no issues and some mags i had issues with. But about 3 times the trigger didnt reset. Also about 7 times the slide didnt go all the way back in battery after firing a shot. It never happened at the same time tho and it was just at random. Oh and also it seemed like a crazy amount of carbon build up in the slide and on the front of the barrel, slide and light. Now when im at home dry firing and i pull the trigger and hold it down it also doesnt reset at times after i rack the slide (random not always) If im not holding the trigger down tho it always resets. Do you know what could be going on?????
The first fix is the trigger. Sounds like crossbar angle needs a slight bit of adjustment. What my video on the most common problem. It shows how to adjust it.

Your slide is not going back? How far does it go back? Is it easy or difficult when manually using the slide? Sounds like the trigger problem is due to the slide problem

My trigger does not reset at all. Once I fire, the trigger stays back and wont reset, even when I physically try to pull the trigger forwards. Whats going on? Its like stuck back and stays where I pressed the trigger back to.
For me, my issue with my Glock 40 is that my trigger stays forward the whole time. I press trigger and stays forward, there is no reset process. This is dry firing tho, i haven't checked with a live round. Do you know what causes that issue? If you have a video of that, could you link me to it? Thanks.
@@JARG my wife has a p80 G43 single stack. When she pulls the trigger the rear of the slide slightly raises up and drops when the trigger breaks, if you hold the trigger down and rack it back, as you let the trigger go to reset it dry fires. Could you help her out with this problem?
@@joshfields7403 Aftermarket recoil spring? Get OEM, it's a know problem for P80 43s. SS80 doesn't have that problem with aftermarket rs so you have to use OEM. I have experienced it before. IDK if it'll help your reset firing issue but it might. I just know it'll stop the slide jiggle from depressing the trigger.

I installed a zev pro curve trigger on my pf940c trigger pulls just fine but when it resets it goes off again when let go of the trigger as if it’s like a binary. Any idea what it can be? The parts that were changed are the trigger bar, trigger connector, and plunger spring that releases the firing pin. That is what came in the zev trigger kit. Oh yea and the spring that goes from the trigger housing to the trigger bar
Have a Glock27 40 cal gen 5 with a polymer 80 lower g 26 or 27 frame. It has the original trigger gen 5 that I cut the bottom to fit for the pin would go in by the slide release I also changed the slide spring that hold the barrel to a universal one and it will not reset completely back after I rack it thank you for your time I really appreciate it.
Did u put the back part in correctly like after u hook it to the spring u put that metal peace threw that plastic hole over the spring that will make it fire but then u gotta still reset the trigger I’m trying to figure that out

Don't know if the jigs are going to help with the front locking block hole but they really suck now and I'm in a unfree State so I'll probably never have to deal with that mess.

Just built another P80 with a Zev trigger kit. having problem with the ammo from the mag not inserting in the barrel. G19

First thought is what ammo? Try some round nose 115 and see.
Second thought is you need a lighter recoil spring because your slide it not going far enough
Third is what magazine? Same or all or doing this?
Fourth is possible extractor issue?

I have a question mines shoots like 5 shots then dead trigger when I take the slide off the trigger seems hard to reset what would be the problem?
You have parts rubbing inside the frame
So with my Glock 17, when it’s loaded, it’s extra hard to eject the round out of the weapon. Do you know why?

The second thing is the battery issue. I believe the recoil spring is the cause. You need the 20 lbs recoil spring.

My trigger works and functions correctly it just has a quiet reset like I can't hear a clean click

Sounds like behind the firing pin lug or connector is not releasing it. Post video on your channel with slide off. I will look at it

@@JARG only does that when the slide is on. if i remove the slide and push the trigger bar forward it'll click and stay in the back

What causes the slide to rise up slightly as the trigger I'd pulled?
Weak recoil springs or too heavy striker spring. Or both
