Thank you for upgrading the sounds. The first game missed the dopamine feelings from this. Nothing beats a critical attack with a screen shake and banging sound.
Great progress Charles (and team) Well i miss the old UI elements from dd1 but i appreciate your new direction and keeping it closer to classic FE games. Is this part of the game final or are you planning to change the UI later on?
I expect that some of the UI elements will be redone before its all said and done (will depend as we test more and get feedback on what feels good and what doesn't), but regardless of what is changed we'll be sticking with the pixel art style so it stays consistent.

Looking forward to this. There were a lot of elements about the first game I liked, but felt needed refining and it seems this is exactly what's happening. I do have a question. Will you be able to turn off the white flash every time an attack connects? As someone who's photosensitive, I would rather avoid having to deal with those.

I wonder if the monsters are playable? The monsters are one of my favorite things about FE Sacred Stones and FE Echoes but you can’t get any of them on your side in those games
I have been working super hard to make sure it is! Part of why its taken so long is that I rebuilt the engine from the ground up for it so it doesn't have any of the same technical issues as the first. As a first time dev I made a TON of missteps with DD1 but I think the second game will blow it out of the water.
