- Keith Smith suffers from a C4 "complete" spinal cord injury due to a motorcycle accident in 2009. 10 years later in 2019, he participate in a medical trial where he undergoes surgery and is implanted with an epidural stimulator by Dr. Susan Harkema. This is an experimental procedure to treat spinal cord injury and those suffering from paralysis.

Dr. Hakema's team never replies to me & her idea was performed on 5 patients. Reeve Foundation only emails me for donations. There are many patients like myself losing hope. Why would they care if we walk & don't?
