This is a helpful video. I'm 46 and going through IVF. We were able to only get one egg, and got it fertilized. I get it transferred tomorrow and hope for implantation. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I'm also in Egypt, so donor eggs aren't an option. I'm hoping for this miracle to continue. 🙏🏻
@@sumairanaveed6030 Sadly I did not. We're going to try again though, but in America. It will cost more, but there's more options there and vitamins and medicine will be better there. I also know more now then I did before, so hopefully being more prepared/educated will help.

The reason it isn't the same for everyone is that everyone responds differently to these medications, and patients also can have different goals and diagnoses. So, unfortunately, there's no set number of injections that a patient will administer.

I’m having PGT testing, and on day 5 I have 3 embryos in the blastocyst vitrification. I’m trying to figure out what that means exactly by surfing through RUclips which I found this video. Thank you for this information ❤
Putting that single good looking sperm on the egg as he said is called ICSI. And because is considered a special technique it cost $800 to do in Australia (depending on were u do your ivf can be more or less). I'm in my 2nd cycle and im happy we went with his 1st description of a drop of sperm on a dish with the eggs. No extra cost to the already 10k treatment that it is ivf. Cos those 800 that i paid on the 1st cycle wont be reimburse with Medicare or Private. So hopefully u wont need ICSI

Its crazy how difficult it can be. Shit im glad im here on earth ha. My girl is 37 im 36 in november. Been trying ovulation meds and have hae 0 contraceptives for about 20 months or so and nothing😢. So considering IVF. Just frustrating

Donor eggs are a great option for those who choose/need them! There's a lot to be said about epigenetics and carrying donor eggs, so this is a great conversation to have with your doctor

Hi @superluckao - what you're seeing in this video is sperm being injected into an egg to create embryos. The embryos can then be genetically tested, and a healthy embryo can be transferred. Any remaining embryos can be frozen and held in storage until needed.
The spoken portions of this video is informative but if you want to improve it, please have the technicians wearing gloves during cell culture procedures. Ooops.

Thanks for the question! There have been some outliers, but IVF at a more advanced age can carry considerable risk. While there is no clear and set limit to age and IVF a decision on whether IVF is suitable for someone may be made on a case-by-case basis with a doctor, taking into consideration whether the patient is healthy enough for pregnancy.
