- In todays video we have the demo Massey Ferguson 5S.135 out in full force. The hustelr soft hands are on and the bale lifter is on the back. We have 200 bales of silage that are sold to a customer to be moved, loaded and delivered. Let's see how she handles!

Great video. The 5S got a serious workout for the week, if you could get the joystick built into the armrest that’d be an improvement… maybe that’s an option on a higher spec cab. FairPlay with the review, very valuable to prospective buyers and sales people alike, not to mention the R&D people at Beauvais. If they could add the rear air vent idea you liked on the Kubota for the AC on your face while watching the rear implement they’d have all the boxes ticked. The 5S 145 Dyna 6 with air brakes would be a fabulous tractor to have based on the demo tractor. Keep up the good work.

If your goin to get a double bale handler. Get the Nugent one with to two separate lifters. Dearer than a standard one but way faster and easier to use. Well worth the extra few pound.
Never used one but would probably say you're right, only thing is it puts bales back further away from tractor
Hi Phil. You mentioned Longford. My dad was born in Longford and moved to Scotland when he was about 15. He never went back other than visits wirh his familly. I would love to go back as its been 30 plus years since i was on Longford
I wonder how far you are from Longford. I just found your channel today so will be checking in regularly. Ilove the Masseys by the way, lots of far.wrs used the back in the 70s during potato harvest. All the best Stephen Gill from Fife Scotland.

The S5 is a great all-around tractor, very good at loading bales.
Phil a tr3 bale handler would out preform a hustler soft hands or quicke or any model of soft hands really. And there not terribly expensive €1600 would buy one..

Jesus lads what do ye be at do ye listen to the video on mute or what go back and watch the video again he answered half the questions ye are asking in the comments in the video i could nearly answer them all myself at this stage (excuse anyone that is deaf i will answer yer questions for ye)but half the questions he just explained in the video that man is too busy to answering silly questions. ( few good questions and comments there but the other half of the questions are explained in the video. Another good video phill keep it up lad I've watched everyone of them from the start 👍

Looks & sounds like you really like the 5S. Any chance you'll get to keep it?
Farmer I work for has a 5s 105 and she handles a double bale lifter and a bale on the loader no bother and I would recommend McDonnell bros bale lifters, very strong sturdy metal and quite cheap compared to Fleming and great vid.

Lovely tractor but the wider rear mudguards would help the look of it no end
Have to save the you tube money up and get that 5S home
It needs a set of mud guard extensions would stop the doors getting covered in spray
