Bee Gees one of the most talented groups of brothers ever.
The greatest harmony group ever.
So true - both as singers and songwriters. The number of hits they’ve written for themselves and other artists as well is mind blowing 😀
Them and the Jackson 5 ❤️🎶
Im 72..it just blows me away to realize youg people dont know who th artists are from the 70s 80s...we grew up with the bee gees!
We also grew up with Frank Sinatra.
Yes, and, for that very reason ... first-time reactions like this are PRICELESS to witness! 🤩
I would have said 1960's 70's and early 80's. That was the true concentration of this type of music/genre. But yes, I agree fully with this music.
at least be surprised that some of the younger people are looking back listening to these classics, music transcends age
72 here too! We have the best music!!! ❤️🎶❤️
I grew up listening to the bee gees. Have several albums. They were pure, raw talent. No autotune . Just God given talent.
As a 7-8 year old, I spent hours laying on our green shag rug with big puffy headphones attached to a curly cord hooked into the stereo listening to the BeeGees. We 70’s kids were truly blessed with this real music.❤
oh yes we were i was born 74 and we love these songs in our home, its a much different time now in 2024
Amen! Born in 69.
Born in '69 and also on my back, but on a white carpet, with puffy headphones, wow, I feel you so well.
Born in 62. I loved this.
we sure were...we grew up in an era where music was truly an emotional experience..and singers had actual talent without help from autotune or other technology!! I may be 63 now but I am happy...happy that I was born and lived through those wonderful years...wouldn't change a thing!!!
No auto tune.Just god given talent.
Even with autotune people can't sing like this these days 😂
@@vw647FOR REAL!!!
Challenge- I want anybody to get together and sing like this, even for spits and giggles
Not a single computer in sight!
@@jdsguam absolutely no one even MJ because of this is trio to and reating magician voices together
As a 50 year old Australian woman there’s nothing I enjoy more than seeing people experience The Bee Gees for the first time. ❤🇦🇺
I'm a 55 year old Aussie. Loved them then, still love them today. Pure talent.
I’m a 76 year old American lady and I listen to Too Much Heaven any chance I get! And I love to see young people’s reaction! It’s almost like I’m hearing it for the first time!
I'm an almost 60 year old American woman and I love it too, so satisfying
Im born in 62 friends,, what make me crying is we doesn’t have those beautiful songs anymore,in 70 that’s the world we live in GOOD VIBES.!❤
Born in 60. And we just took this music for granted! I think I thought amazing music would always be there. Coming from the generation that turned the radio on and heard Stairway to Heaven as if it was a regular song on the radio!
I'm 54 and agree with you both. The world and music today has gone to hell!
Their harmonies will jump start your heart.
This song has raised over $10,000,000 for UNICEF.
Lol
But where has that money gone. No telling the world what the money has saved.
Spectacular!
Don’t trust UNICEF. They got busted for child abuse.
Everything went to new Mercedese's, airplanes and what not for corrupt UNICEF and African leaders. What a disgrace to the people who try to make a difference.
64 yo lady in tears here watching your reaction. Thank you young man for the beautiful reaction and appreciation for my generation of music ❤
I'm also 64 & I'm wiping the tears from my old eyes, 😂 so grateful that I was there when it was being played on the radio all the time! 💝
I don’t think we appreciated at the time how truly blessed we were to grow up with this music. I thought I was just getting old & grumpy when I began to lose interest in “new” music sometime in the 2000s, but it’s just not the same. (Amy Winehouse is the only newer artist who sticks out for me.)
I love watching young people get a dose of what we got to experience. 💕
Me to Girl! 😊
My mother is 72, I've told her before that her generation is blessed with good music with gifted musicians. Now im just waiting that some day my child will tell me the same about 90's music😅
62 years here also in tears 😢
The harmony they created….unbelievable.
They had the kind of harmony that only close family members have. Probably would have been even better if Andy had joined.
This song gives me chills up my arms to my neck!
@@MC-fv4vv the lyrics are poetic, the melody is memorable.
Siblings seem to harmonize better than unrelated artists. My opinion. The Brothers Gibb have always been my favorites.
And Robin and Maurice were twins also
GenX had the BEST music!!! It transcends the years and is still incredible!
We really did. It was soulful, there were actual instruments playing, NO autotune. If there was s-xual innuendo, it wasn't blatant. That's lost in the music we hear today. Don't get me wrong, there are some really good 'newer' songs out there that are fantastic, but the GenX era was one of the BEST!
Every penny earned from this masterpiece was donated to UNICEF. All these years later I still get goosebumps when I hear Barry's falsetto.
Yes. I was at the concert for UNICEF in January of 1979, when I was 18. I ended up on that t.v. at the end, clapping my hands, wearing a tan trench coat and my mother's pearls. It was INSANE!!!! 😊
Me too. Chills
So far it's made around 10 million
I only know UNICEF thru Joe Dirt
I miss them so much...❤❤😢
I don't know what it is about this song, but it goes right to the heart. Those harmonies are so beautiful.
Autotune didnt exist back then pure talent
Loved your reaction! This song and the brothers will live forever through their music.
I hope Barry knows how many young people are turning on to this great group!
Great Reaction! They did this in 1 take! NO autotune, pure talent ❤️❤️❤️
Not in 1 take lol. They duplicated their voices many times in different tones. But nevertheless, with their beautiful harmonizing it's a masterpiece!
@@ellenbonesit was 1 take
@@ellenbones im guessing you never heard them live that is the 3 brothers singing together
@@GrandpaOCE Ofc they are singing together, I never said they are not. And yes I've heard live performances of them and they sound awesome together. In this recorded song they have merged a lot of tracks of their voices, that's how producing works 🙂You cannot sing high and low or produce a scream at the same time lol
@@eliaramirez2868 This song has 16 tracks of voice on it, which is what we're hearing in this video. They were masters at singing along to their own backing track -- note how Barry doesn't miss a beat here. But to say this was done in one take is ridiculous!
This poor generation is STARVING.....SO OPEN AND ADORABLE! Lord, Fill Them!!!
They have hits from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and even put out a cd in the 2,000’s! To me, they were the best!
To me also. The absolute best, for decades. 🥰
Death was the only thing that stopped them. 😢 RIP Robin and Maurice, we love and miss you!🫶
SON LOS MAS GRANDES, GENIOS.
I agree with you completely
@@conniebrown983Don't forget Andy!
As a 55 year old man its funny that even though I have nothing to do with the production of this masterpiece, I feel a sense of pride that it came from my generation. If our parents were the greatest generation than we were certainly the luckiest generation.
Did we know how to make great music.....or what? To use an old, hack-neyed expression...." They don't make 'em like that anymore." 😊❤
Great music, I'm so glad I was a teenager back then and got to enjoy this beautiful music (natural).❤❤❤
And Australian here - one for us!
Agree
@@karinfichtner7479 I'm just sorry that I'm old enough to use that phrase.
1 Microphone and 3 voices equals purity of talent.
The process of recording "Too Much Heaven" was excessive and included 27 vocal tracks: Barry on falsetto lead 3 times, falsetto high harmony 3 times, and falsetto low harmony 3 times; Barry on natural voice lead 3 times, high harmony 3 times, and low harmony 3 times; Barry, Robin and Maurice together on lead 3 times, high harmony 3 times, and low harmony 3 times. The recording of this track was longer than any other on the album. The recording included the horn section of the band Chicago.
@Chris-q9m. Their voices are fabulous but they weren’t singing in the video. Search on Google how this recording was made if you doubt the validity of what I shared☺️
I’m just glad you didn’t interrupt the song every 5/10 seconds like I’ve seen others do.
They have to interrupt because otherwise they get taken down by RUclips because these songs are copywrited. I suspect this one will get taken down or demonitized.
@@estherwagner6735 just what I was thinking
@@estherwagner6735 You did fine!
I would rather they pause during their reaction rather than them interrupt and miss parts. We can listen to the song anywhere, anytime. I'm here for reactions.
Exactly, stop play stop play… it’s like yes we know you are pretending you NEVER heard the song 😅. But let us hear the music and your non verbal reaction. 😂
Thats the Univers of the Bee Gees. I grow up with the best Group ever. Nobody can switch there Voices like the Bee Gees. And Barry's falsetto is not from this Planet ❤❤❤
Ingrid, always get a kick outta your comments....Barry's not from this planet!!😂🥰
Gorgeous falsetto with that beautiful vibrato.
I was about 13 when my cousin had me listen to then in about 1979. He always had abd fallowed them i did to off abd on. They had the best harmonies I have ever heard and includes Queen.
Well said
@@kthor Aber sein falsetto ist doch auch nicht von dieser Welt. Oder? 🤣❤️❤️❤️
Most under rated vocal group EVER
I love seeing you young people hear our era of talent its heartwarming
I agree it's so heartwarming to see this you get generation hear the music our era Gen X grew up on. Your a Le to understand the words of the song not screaming. R.I.P BEE GEES AND ANDY GIBB
Boomer here. I grew up listening to this unforgettable group every night on my turntable. Brothers Gibb, better known as The Bee Gees. The only one living is Barry Gibb (Mr. Falsetto) and the cutest one of four brothers.
u beleave that he never heard this song before
thank you. You must be in the same age group as I am and were here when this incredible music was being created. These young people posting reactions seem to be hearing it for the first time. It was great to hear and feel music made in the pre-computer age.
Indeed… we’ve got to expose them more. They missed a lot!
This kind of music is why people were happier in the 1970s.
Truth
Funny how people make fun of the disco during that generation. But at least it was real, without auto tune. People had real talent. Please, I am not saying that there isn't some real music now. I like the 70's. I lived it.
simpler times
Who are you calling old?
@@Dahstin maybe you lol and me
I still get goosebumps every time I hear the Bee Gees ❤
Me too. Especially this song.
Me too. And emotional
I like to think that maybe the world wouldn't be so angry if our old music would make a comeback..we need to get away from the hate.
ONE OF THE ULTIMATE B'GEE'S SONGS EVER SUNG!!
I absolutely LOVE when younger generations have such awesome reactions to the music my generation grew up with. No auto tune, no lip sync, just raw talent! As it should be. Music like that will never exist again. Still it’s amazing how timeless and genuine, singers such as The Bee Gees still are! Even today! Such a beautiful thing!
The BeeGees didn’t just sing about women, but to women ❤
Beautifully said! 💯🎯
YES!!!!!
Damn good point.
How lucky I am to be alive during the time of the best era of Elvis & the Bee Gees 88 yrs old
I'm 45 and L❤VE both. I still say that my husband was meant to be "black leather" Elvis😂
Making me miss the 70s.
3 Brothers, 1 mic, NO autotune, glorious SIBLING harmonies=PERFECTION ❣️❣️
😊
Exactly 😊
I was so fortunate to grow up with this music and many other wonderful groups. It’s so refreshing hearing people really sing and play their instruments. It’s an art that’s been lost. I’m so glad you like the BeeGees!!! ❤️
One of my favorite past times is watching black dudes melt to Barry’s vocals. 😂😂☠️☠️
😂
🎉🎉😂😂😂😂
Yea.. its great
Same 🙌🏻 😊
And young people too, realizing they're white 😆
Thank you for not interrupting the integrity of the song. That's why your reactions are better than others.
I was about to say the same thing. Other people pause constantly and rewind. 😊
We had the BEST MUSIC EVER! 💕💕💕💕💕💕
We sure did
It's SO beautiful to see a young person listen to , HEAR and love the amazing talent of the Bee Gees. They were MESMERIZING and if hearing them doesn't move you to tears, then you have no heart! I am 75 years old, and they still can move me to tears! Thank you! ❤
Best music ever in those times not like the crap they have today
Barrys voice is like hearing angels crying to get out it is a voice that will echo into eternity
Like the Hallelujah chorus. 😮
That moment when that high note just reaches in and touches your soul!!
PRICELESS❤❤❤❤
"How Deep is Your Love" is a Bee Gees' Masterpiece
Recorded in one take with no autotune . Just talent
I’ve been a fan of the BeeGees since the 1960’s. Love this group of brothers and never get tired of listening to their music.
Absolutely!
I've been a fan since the early 2000s when i was listening to them on radio and cassettes (I'm a 90s kid). Their catalogue is so huge and extensive, I also enjoy their early stuff as well, very talented brothers.
No B words, N0 N words, No licking up and down, No CURSING or degrading! JUST LOVE!!❤❤❤
This generation is really missing it in their lyrics! 😢❤❤❤
You need to listen to, " How can you mend a broken heart", just so smooth and beautiful lyrics. Such a shame there is no talent remotely close to this anymore.
You said it….you haven’t really lived until you hear and live this music. Make “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart” your next.
As as matter of fact, he needs to listen to all of the Bee Gee's early hits.@@susanbaker8130
Barry's heart is broken.
Yes, I dedicated "How can you mend a broken heart" to my beautiful Queen mother. I miss her every day. Love you mami
Greatest band of the 70's.
They didn't create harmony.. they were siblings.. it's a natural thing.. The Jackson's, the Osmond's, the Bee Gee's just had it..I had it with my sister.. my sister has been gone 9 yrs now.. I can't sing without her. Bee Gee's wrote their music.. incredible
Everly brothers.
The Bee Gees were singing harmonies in the 1963, check out their 1963 TV.
I also sing w/ my sisters. 4 of us. 4 part harmony. Acapella.
No..... they didn't invent harmony..... they just perfected it the Natural way.
Rest in peace to your sister.
You’re beautiful with a beautiful heart. What a great reaction to the Bee Gees. They were brilliant ❤
This is what heaven sounds like😢
I ❤ the beegees but uuummmm, have you ever heard Alison Krauss and Keith Whitley?? THAT, to me, is angels.
The Bee Gees are the GREATEST group to EVER grace the music world!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
💯
Beegees is one of the greatest group because The Beatles is the greatest.
@@CeejaaySnow Sorry to bust your bubble BUT the Beatles sucked.....I grew up during the Beatle era......NOT IMPRESSED with their music at all......there is NO COMPARISON to Bee Gees......Bee Gees win HANDS DOWN!!!!
@@kudabear4898 Even if you dont like the Beatles, we cannot change the fact that they are the best selling musical artists of all time. Also, majority of musicians and critics always ranked them as no. 1 musical artists. It is always The Beatles vs. Rolling Stones, The Beatles vs. Led Zeppelin, The Beatles vs. Queen, The Beatles vs. Elvis, The Beatles vs. Michael Jackson etc... @@CeejaaySnowboth from the North of England i might point out
bee gees love you inside out
Excellent song!!! Highly recommend! Of course, you can't pick a bad one
My parents are Boomers and my Mom introduced me to the BeeGees at around 10-11 years old. I'm going to be 42 in two weeks. And this, to me, is pure talent. This is pure proof that no matter your age, gender or color, that Good Music is totally universal. This band was Pure Talent. NO auto tunes, no trickery. Just Talent.
I am SO thrilled to see younger people find and appreciate the awesome music that I grew up with!! Awesome reaction! Keep doing 70's tunes! If you have not done any "Carpenters" yet, you MUST! Karen Carpenter, and her brother, Richard. Love from Vegas xx
You have a beautiful soul❤❤❤❤❤
God, I miss the seventies. That feeling of early young adult life will never be experienced again. That magic will sadly never return.
The bee gees were the best harmonies I’ve ever heard in my life ❤god bless them all and thank you for the music 👍
All I can say is pure angelic perfection! No auto tune. I was blessed to be in this era of music. I am loving your reactions to this iconic song and the great Bee Gees!❤
I miss those guys! GenX had the absolute best times!
"I'm not crying! You're crying!"😭

Moi aussi les larmes coulent malgré moi 😢 c étaient des Dieux de la musique ❤❤❤
So great to see these dear people.. cry at our beauty

they definitely have GOD given talent . Three brothers with perfect harmony together are very unique voices that nobody can duplicate
Genetics make a difference! Brothers - Jackson 5, Sibs = the Carpenters, the Andrew's Sisters, etc. Instruments (vocal chords) are similarly tuned. Mom Nature knows.
They sing and I still get CHILLS. Especially, their harmonizing it is through the roof!
Angels singing. That's my take and I'm sticking with that.
Absolutley❤
Look up their music and you will be amazed
They are an eternal gift to us mortals
This is art. Vocal art.
The bee gees, they didn't sing about women, they sang to them.
Damn man. Your reaction was so wholesome. It was lovely to watch. ❤
Unbelievably talented singers and songwriters
Harmony like no others!!
At 74 years old I can safely say that my generation grew up with music like this and as a whole, it's reflective of our uniqueness in values that have yet to be matched.
A great example of that is the one and only BeeGee Brothers. 💝
There will never be another group with as much harmony as the Bee Gees!
Bee gees began singing as children and stayed together
I just love when I see the younger generations discover the music I grew up with. I saw the Bee Gees in concert when I was a young girl and it was total magic. I wish the radio stations would play their music.... I don't understand why...
Your smile tells the whole story. Good choice.
There is a whole catalogue of this angelic music to go through! Barry also sang some duets that are excellent too. Try Barbara Streisand and Barry Gibb on Guilty.
BEE GEES STAYIN' ALIVE
My Honey went to Heaven July of 22. This was one of my favorites long before this. Today I listen to this song often and I see my sweetheart in Heaven with Jesus. She's dancing, smiling and holding our Lord. She is so glorious and joyful.
I'm not crying...I'm cutting onions. This was beautiful. 💝
I appreciate sharing your first experience with the Bee Gees "Too Much Heaven"

When you are sick not feeling well time to listen to beegees then you still feel alive
It took them years to come up with this style of singing. When they first began, the singing style reminded me of the beetles.
The 60’s,70’s and 80’s music is what i grew up with. There will never be anything more amazing
Après l'avoir entendue pour la première fois, je me suis dit qu'il passerait beaucoup de temps avant que l'on fasse un slow aussi parfaitement magnifique...
I remember this song in real time.. its timeless and beautiful
I was barely 16 when they were at the height of their fame. We danced, dreamed, fell in love, and were so happy just listening to their divine voices. Love was indeed a beautiful thing. Thank you BeeGees.
The best vocal group 3 brothers
Harmonies were heavenly
Your reaction shows that a song can make you feel as if you are transcending to a higher realm... No greater gift can a musician give another human being is their song....
Love seeing the pure joy on your face 💥
3 extremely talented brothers named Gibb. The twins Maurice (Morris) and Robin have passed away as well as their baby brother Andy Gibb who had a solo career. Barry is the oldest of the 4 brothers and the last one left who's still alive. They do have an older sister still living as well.
Thank you. I was afraid Berry had passed as well. Best group EVER!!
