There's a whole generation of people who were conceived to this song.
This was my parents' wedding song in 1977.
😆
Also alot of those conceived were aborted so they never saw the light of day. I work with mostly foreigners because of all the abortions and all the career childrenless women.
Designated Hitter Oh please, was that really necessary?
@@oneironaut420 no it wasn't but it hits close to home. I am lucky to be alive, I was born in 1975 the song came out in 1977 and you mentioned the word generation which is my generation and it makes me sad how the baby boomers were so brainwashed by the elites inside the pyramid.
I miss when music was sexy, romantic, clean, respectful.
Amen!!
You mean to tell me you ain’t a fan of WAP?
Music from then will take you on a journey. Today's music just leaves you at the bus stop.
SAY IT AGAIN!!! You are so right!
@@EricGallant24 Who is WAP?
Their collection of great music is endless. Barry Gibb was a hit writing machine.
Good to know... Thanks dear
Yup. But I always felt Robin was my guy.
@@EMPRESSJOYJEAN .. 3 Best Bee Gees Songs: - Inside and Out - Fanny be Tender - Love so Right
They had so many hits that I can spend an hour listing them all, but those 3 really highlight how amazing their harmonies are. You'll LOVE them.
Maurice wrote the chords and thereby the music, didn't he?
Robin and Maurice were also hit writing machines.
This Generation is missing ROMANCE from their music. You can only shake so many things; like Otis Redding sings, "Try a Little Tenderness."
Well put. So, so true. Where is the courtship?
Also missing is romance from life. Back in the day people could be sweet and loving and were still tough as nails, but were not afraid to show the emotion that is often kept hidden in the present times....
Referencing Otis Redding is a great way to make the point, for sure.
"I've been loving you too long to stop now" - Otis Redding
It exists, but it doesn't make the Hot 100 in the U.S. Beth Hart has several modern romantic songs along with Melody Gardot.
I’m probably the only 22 year old that still listens to 70’s songs like this...😅
Nothing wrong with that! It gives me hope for the future ❤
No Autotune no gimmicks just raw talent and REAL instruments as back up ,, pure talent
It's not just their voices. It's the fact they write all their own material. Plus they've written lots of hits for other artists.
I grew up listening to the Bee gees , I remember dancing to this song with my first love ,we were just fifteen, I married this girl and were still madly in love all these years later. So sad there is only one Bee gee left 🌹🌹
The Bee Gees’ music, by and large, still stands the test of time, and those harmonies - they are incredible! Such a shame that only one of these three men is still alive (at the time of writing).
It is such a shame there is only one BeeGee still alive. They were such a great band.
@J OneLife They're from the Isle Of Man.
They are among the best pop music has ever known!
I'm so glad I was raised on this music. Nothing else compares. Pure talent these guys get to me Every time ..the lyrics are beautiful. Pure love for a woman.
Is it just me; but is this woman beyond beautiful; stunningly gorgeous; and the most heavenly complexion ive ever seen; just wow !! And her eyes; just wow !!
Great comment - "no attitude" - the most professional and artistic of the 70's artists didn't have to make stupid faces and poses. They just produced and performed great music. Some showmanship, if it is positive and not arrogant, can be pleasant, but the music needs to come first.
You mean like Kiss?
I just posted the same thing about "No attitude"
@@docsavage8640 he said "The most professional and artistic didn't have to......."
I’m 59 and when I was a junior in high school the soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever cam out and the Bee Gee’s were everywhere.
I remember those day, I'm 59 too & you're dead-on! It felt like the Bee Gees were half of the d-jays play list at the school dances.
You are so right about their voices and, no they are not flamboyant or showy and they just very simply have some of the most amazing voices and harmonies recorded.
It is so interesting that in so many of the reaction videos currently trending they are younger people just now hearing artists like the Bee Gees and stunned at the voices they are hearing and MANY saying they dont hear voices like that today, Karen Carpenter is another and even Rock artists like Bob Segar and Michael McDonald.
The list is endless but it shows that we were fortunate to have lived during our time for music, I certainly have been enjoying it.
Sure dear. I'll check them out... Thanks Terry❤
100% on target Terry Estonia!
"No attitude". One of the best reaction I've heard.
I'm just happy that todays generation learns to appreciate the Golden Era of Good Music.
Wow! What a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile!!
Your right
And I'm shallow sorry
She's to cute
"More Than A Woman" is my personal favorite from the Bee Gees.
I've listened to a lot of these reaction songs by the BeeGees, most particularly "Nobody Gets Too Much Heaven" and this one.
Everyone is amazed at the perfect blend by the brothers, but it's actually a reaction to Barry (lead) that gets everyone excited. There have been those who have mentioned the way Robin (white shirt and red T-shirt) sings in the same key as Barry - and there is very little mention of Maurice (lower harmony).
Robin sometimes sings in the same key as Barry because his 2nd voice enhances Barry's solo - it gives it a richness that wouldn't make it to the table using just one voice.
Maurice's contribution is almost tragic. Because everyone wants to focus on Barry, they always seem to pause the video when the chorus starts just as Maurice's harmony comes in. Maurice's lower-key harmony is what ties their songs into one smooth sound. But it's missed because he gets cut off.
Then one of the main comments is "they sound so perfect - how do they do that?" The answer to that is right there in the chorus - if you people would just quit pausing it and listen.
Would love to hear your reaction to BEE Gees Fanny be tender, I love that song...
It seems to me that what this lovely young woman is trying to say is that this music -the Bee Gees, for example- comes from the heart and goes directly to the heart. What is lacking in today's music is the expression of sincere personal emotion...
I remember dancing with my girl to this ,we are married 39 years now, it still sounds incredible ❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations
You are soooo beautiful! That smile!!!! Keep on reacting! 😉 Greetings from Greece! 🇬🇷
Ok....the Bee Gees had beautiful, melodic voices but the star of the show is you. Beautiful.....smile....personality. This is coming from a 62 year old white guy who was 19 when this song was released. Kisses!
You are so beautiful! Beautiful smile, flawless skin, that twinkle in your eye...You should be a model!
Thank you, dear
I'm not a big fan of the Bee Gees but you're right they are very very good, so professional and talented, mind you they had been singing all their lives. But you got it exactly right, you don't hear such talent like that nowadays, it's unique.
Next try the equally as beautiful, "Too Much Heaven", then the heartbreaking "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart".
Thanks dear, I'll check them out❤
👍👍 you can't go wrong, at all, with the Bee Gees!!!
You so beautyful i love your shining Skin somuch. I love your smile and enjoy the Music too.❤️🙈
Thanks, darling
EMPRESS JOY-JEAN It is the reality.😍🌹
Such a timeless classic!! I still feel lucky that my coming of age days were in the 70’s!! The music and talent was amazing!!!
❤❤❤
Imagine how GOOD THIS SOUNDS ON A HIGH-FI PLAYED ON VINYL RECORD? You can't imagine! My God, people today are missiing out.
The 70s was the holy grail. The last stand ,Generally speaking for soulful music*
EMPRESS JOY-JEAN, Thank you for your reaction and by the way, You are Gorgeous!!!!
Thank you, Ralph
Yes she's to cute
Song is great but this lady here is absolutely gorgeous. Breathtaking.
Thanks darling, I'm flattered ❤
I thought the exact same, absolutely stunning looking
Ohh My God she is beautiful
🤗
To cute
You're really cute, beautiful smile, and I love your accent!
Ditto
The whole Saturday Night Fever album is good. Its a soundtrack to the movie
Amazing ❤
Movies great also!!
Used in the movie but not written for it.
My dear, you are uncommonly beautiful. I'm glad that you are discovering truly GREAT music produced by persons who were deeply vocally and musically talented. They, artists from this era,, wrote, composed, arranged and performed their musical hits. It's important to mention that artists from this era also had in common that they strove for decades before achieving their great success and recognition. The BeeGees had been doing their acts since the 1950s before their big break on the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack.
"YOU ARE AMAZING !!"
Barry and his two younger twin brothers started singing together as young kids. So, there common genes makes a very beautiful blend. And their decades of practice perfected their harmonies.
Good to know. Thanks Randal❤
Great reaction!, WOW! you are gorgeous!, love your accent and your beautiful smile
EMPRESS, I hope you don't mind me saying this but you are lovely.
OMG, watching how warm your smile is listening to this gold is so beautiful. You can light the night with that smile.
Their harmonies are second to none
EMPRESS JOY-JEAN, I must compliment you. Your lighting, audio, backgrounds and clothing are just beautiful. What a classy young woman you are with a good attitude. Your beauty is 2nd to none! Wow! Clear beautiful skin, clear eyes, perfect teeth and hair. My God girl that smile is amazing! Charming personality and articulate...you have everything wrapped up in a nice package and I believe you will go far.
You are Gods daughter for sure.
My first slow dance with a boy was to this song. There was an after school dance held inside the cafeteria when I was in 5th grade. The boy (a 6th grader) was actually the son of my mom's friend, so we were family friends. He didn't ask me to dance because he liked me "as a girlfriend". He knew I had the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack album & loved this song. I'm 53 yrs old now & it still continues to be one of my all time favorite love songs (and it always will, until my last breath). Too Much Heaven is another popular love song..
The Brothers Gibb later known as The Bee Gees started as a trio of young singers in 1958. Barry (tall one with beard & thick hair) is the oldest. Maurice (with beard) & Robin were fraternal twins. They also had a younger brother, Andy, who was a popular solo artist & had several chart topping songs of his own. Andy would often join his 3 older brothers on stage. Sadly, Andy died at a very young age (30) back in 1988. Maurice was the next one to pass away in 2003. His twin, Robin, would follow in 2012. Barry is the last one still alive & performing. Please check out more from The Bee Gees (just google "Bee Gees songs"), as well as Andy's big hits - Shadow Dancing, I just want to be your everything, An everlasting love, & Thicker than water.
Trivia fact - When the Bee Gees first started out, they sang in a much lower vocal tone. You can search for video clips of their early days. They had some success, but it wasn't until they changed their sound all together by singing in high falsetto tones that their popularity really took off & launched them into the stratosphere, especially during the disco era. The Bee Gees were prolific songwriters & music producers. They've compose & produced countless hit songs for many other recording artists who went on to have great success.
The 70s and 80s were more deep to the roots of the heart. Real love with joy in your heart. Watch "Saturday Night Fever," when life was fun and sometimes games but love was at the center. Bee Gees we're awesome group of brothers. That's cool that you took the time to listen with your heart. 😎👍🇺🇸⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘
This Band is Legendary with legendary song.
70's greatest Era of music EVA. Everybody had soul and played instruments . I also loved Debarge back then and Stevie wonder . You would love Jill Scott , Maxwell still some great soul artist . Just gotta look .
I hope the renaissance continues forever.
The thing about these three brothers is that they were son good together yet their voices were good alone that they could’ve each had a solo career to. By this time they had been singing for at least 30 years. They were all multi instrumentalist. Barry the oldest wrote and produced not just for them but for other artists. Barry produced on of Barbara Streisand’s album. They wrote islands in the stream that Kenny Rogers and dolly pardon had a duet with. Their harmonies are so close that you can’t pick out the lead alto or tenor when they do falsetto.
Dennis Caldwell yes...and I’ve noticed when Barry and Robin sing in unison it almost sounds like a different voice. The lower harmony gets me on this song-I love it! Just swoonworthy musicianship all around.
Oddly Maurice who had the lowest speaking voice carried the highest harmony if you can pick it out. It's even above Barry's lead. Robin usually took the lowest part.
A major part of why their harmonies are so wonderful and easy on the ear, is that they are all brothers. Barry , the oldest, is the tallest with the long hair and beard. The other two, Robyn and Maurice are twins. They had a career that spanned over 4 decades. Sadly, Barrry is the only one remaining. The twins passed away many years ago. Barry is now 75 yr old but still looks good for his age. BTW, you are exquisite...
Thank you so much for this explanation. I really needed to know the name of the tall one.
I don't think the reason is that they were brothers. It's because they started singing together and experimenting at a young age and that they all found their spot. That's why Andy never got in (google Andy Gibb). Maurice died in 2003 and Robin died in 2012.
You are one beautiful woman..I watched it because of you...gorgeous smile..and I love the accent 😉😉😉 🙋🏻♂️
Too much Heaven is a Classic..💯🔥👌
Beautiful lady, beautiful reaction to a beautiful song. Check out "Everyday People" by Sly and the Family Stone, thank you.
I'll check that out dear.
Thanks David❤
No other music could have done justice to the ending of Saturday Night Fever .
I respect you on the talents of the Bee Gees. You look also so beautiful! *wink
Barry Gibb has the most beautiful, harmonious falsetto I've ever heard come from anyone. Ugh, it's just gorgeous.
Placed perfectly at the end of the movie Saturday Night Fever.....
I so much miss the 70's and this is my favorite love song so much i stopped on your channel just to hear it.
Thanks Major ❤
Wow she can react like a professional.
This album is the 1977 soundtrack to the movie Saturday night Fever. I was in 11th grade in high school whenever this song came out.
EMPRESS JOY-JEAN You are so beautiful! I love how you really listen to the music!
Listen to too much heaven if you want to hear them hit the high note.

EMPRESS JOY-JEAN: My Cheri Amore, you're as Lovely, as a summer's day!
'Spirits Having Flown' is a Bee Gees' favourite of mine.
"Too Much Heaven" should be next. You will love it.
I have already reacted to that. You can check out here ruclips.net/video/nCgAzR0H3A4/видео.html
Thanks dear
Donna Summer/Love To Love You Baby.
Donna Summer was the best selling female artist at the same time the Bee Gees were hitting big.
She was their biggest competition between 1975 and 1980 and had many top 10 and #1 hits, as did the Bee Gees during that era.
@John Andrews Donna Summer was mainly big in the States. She was never as big as the Bee Gees worldwide.
I wasn't born until the 80s, but my parents raised me on 70s music, including the Bee Gees. This is probably my favorite song of theirs. :)
The beat song to me from the bee gees is Fanny be tender with my love and nights of broadway
There really is no other like the Bee Gees. Take That did a great cover of this song also and is worth checking out. Love your reaction!
Thanks dear!
No kidding, she is authentic, thanks for the refreshment!

More than a woman is also a great tune from the bee gees x
This song was me & my husband song when we was in high school.. I was 15 & he was 16.. We are still in love with each other..
They shined in the 60's and 70's. Want a real heartbreaker? Listen to them sing either I Started A Joke or The First of May. Love your videos.
This is one of my favorite Bee Gees songs; though it's hard to be pressed down about which Bee Gees song is your favorite. There are really too many to choose from. Great reaction. Glad you enjoyed it, as well.
You should watch a film that had the Bee Gee's songs throughout 'Saturday Night Fever' you will loveit ! Beautiful smile xx
Joy, Check out when you get a chance the song's from the concert at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, 1. Alone, 2. To love somebody, 3. I gotta get a message to you, 4. Closer than close, 5. How can you mend a broken heart, 6.( Our love ) don't throw it all away. 7. Morning of my life.😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
That whole Saturday Night Fever soundtrack is good!!!!
The difference between new and old music is like the difference between lust and love.
Loving your reactions. Please react to The Bee Gees " Jive talkig" Good old school music. Try to react to Kenny Roger "Lady"
TO MUCH HEAVEN ❤️❤️❤️ PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏
Sure... Thanks dear ❤
If your heart doesn't melt hearing this tender ballad then there's a 99,9% chance it's made of stone
Barry Gibb’s song writing output and ability should be considered in the same class as Lennon & McCartney’s
Very good!! React For whom the bell tolls bee gees...
I'll check that out dear. Thanks
Great reaction! Please react to More Than A Woman by The Bee Gees!
Sarah Smile or The Closer I get to You by Roberta Flack. Your accent is from.....heaven? I am sending you these as guaranteed smiles dear ms joy
That's a good point, "no attitude." Do we really need musical performers to show how cool/bad they supposedly are?
These are three brothers
Wow! Three talented brothers? Thanks Carol❤

I was born in the 70's and boy am i glad that i got to enjoy some real music, with great vocals, meaningful lyrics and wonderful music.
Love that you acknowledged "no attitude". If there was attitude it came naturally. As apposed to today where it seems like "attitude" is the main factor.
