You know, Chara as Susie combined with Flowey as Queen has some pretty interesting implications...I wonder how those characters would interact in a full AU of this.
Man, remember when Flowey absorbed the six human souls and became gigantic, but then Papyrus returned with all your friends, and a giant robot that Alphys had built from the remains of the Coloured Tile Puzzle, and then Frisk used the robot to punch Omega Flowey in the face? It was kinda sad that they had to blow up the CORE and relocate everybody to the Ruins after that, though.
Flowey's going to have to up the ante to 8 vines to control papyrus's magic. 6 would cause him to break pose, but he'd have had to use 4 vines per important monster in the true pacifist route to limit their magic.
I love all the parallels. Flowey's vines instead of wires,i guess a less violent chara could be kinda like susie? And papyrus being here with flowey fits.
If you consider Chara pointing a knife at someone to be a LESS violent Chara, I think you're kind of overestimating the amount of murderous intent they show before their death. Or even after, really.

It's not actually that difficult to adapt the story of Deltarune to Undertale. The monsters get to the surface in the true pacifist ending, and we even see Toriel and Asgore wearing the same outfits in the credits that they do in Deltarune. Clamgirl's dialogue even somewhat hints at this, as she implies Frisk and Suzy (UT-Susie) meeting is predestined. Kris and Susie fated to be heroes together, so their UT versions Frisk and Suzy are also likely fated to meet. So we know Suzy and UT-Noelle (winter alarm clock & xbox dog casino) both exist and are around the same age as Frisk, so we have our three main lightner characters picked out already. Throw in a timeskip so everyone can age to the correct time, Dess can go missing, and Gerson can die, then you're all set! Of course there's some problems and differences. Rudy is dead. Asriel is Flowey (this one has fascinating consequences). Pretty much everyone in the light world portions would have differences playing out. Really, the problems come when you start talking about how the dark worlds, since they're pretty heavily based on the character's lives and everyone has lived far differently than their Deltarune versions. Would Ralsei even exist? We don't know what he's based on in current Deltarune, but it's likely he's a physical representation of Kris' insecurities as their old horned headband. So he'd need to be replaced by a similar character that represents something else. The dark worlds as a whole might just be insanely different.
