Early Cancer Detection Saves Lives: Domenic’s Story. In 2023, Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) Fleet Manager Domenic Scaife participated in our free full-body cancer screenings, a decision that changed his life. During the screening, a mass was discovered on his kidney.
After undergoing surgery in early 2024, it was confirmed to be Stage 1 clear cell renal cell carcinoma-a critical finding, as catching it early meant avoiding a more advanced, dangerous Stage 3 or 4 diagnosis.
Thanks to early detection, Domenic is now healthy and a strong advocate for preventative screenings. His story is a powerful reminder to prioritize your health and wellness-early action can make all the difference!
