    I just came back from an initial exam for Parkinson's tremor. I believe the nurse practitioner that examined me must have just watched this video beforehand. My responses very closely resemble Larry's to even include the predominance of symptoms on the left side.
    Best wishes to Larry!

    I have essential tremors that are a reflection of my anxiety. Sometimes I think, “Do I have Parkinson’s?” because I shake so bad, but this RUclips instructional helps me know that I don’t have anything more than tremors

    • @Epiphalactic
      @Epiphalactic 7 месяцев назад +1

      essential tremor is different than anxiety tremor.

    • @exosproudmamabear558

      You have risk of having Parkinson (long term stress can effect essential tremors but it isnt direct cause. Essential tremors doesnt mean you are parkinson tho)so I suggest you to get your anxiety in check and stay away from antipsychotics. Go yo doctor to see if you need medication for it. Try to sleep enough.

      Talk to your PCP about Lorazepam or Flexiril for your anxiety and spasticity. I'm on both. A genetic condition I have leaves me an high risk for MS or Parkinson's.

      This was great, I have been researching "what are the warning signs of parkinson disease?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Piyaliyah Prominent Prepotence - (search on google ) ? It is a smashing exclusive product for discovering how to reverse Parkinsons disease minus the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate got excellent success with it.

    I have a neurology exam in less than two weeks and I’m glad I watched this video! My resting head tremors/shaking 24/7 seriously worsened after trying the exercises in the beginning of this video. Now I may need to walk around awhile to try to see if I can settle them down! Good to be aware that during my exam my tremors may get worse for awhile if these exercises are done!

    When I was in my 20’s my doctor ask me how long I have had my tremors? I didn’t realize I had them . When I turned 50 it got bad walking I got off balance and could no longer write or put my mascara on. I went to my doctor they gave me a prescription and told me it was Parkinson’s. Looking back at some family members who were no longer alive. I realized they had it too. If I miss a pill it’s torture. Now even on medication I fall a lot. So getting on a ladder with no one around me is a no no. Thanks for this video.

    All lecture is important but few take home message for Gps and other specialities,
    1.bradykinesia is the cardinal character
    2.the hardest thing to differentiate is the essential tremors vs parkinsonian tremors
    Note: it should have part 2 including non motor examination of PD and dysautonomia as this beautifully illustrated lecture has motor examination only for time concerns
