Ironically I think we have a Kimba situation. There are so many things that furries have fetishized that it's impossible to make a movie with funny talking animals without running into like 10 of them.
As a man who has handled wild Possums, they don't do anything. YOU REALLY have to get them pretty riled up to show any aggression or deal with a pregnant possum, but normally they're all hiss and no bite or you know, they would go limp. Ohh, Alan Tudyk was the Duke of Weaselton in frozon. Probably a reference to that. Disney actually owns him now. He was thrown in as a bonus when they bought Joss Whedon's soul.
They should've strapped a Sloth into a racecar, called him the world's first Sloth Racer and had him crash into the barrier and react in slow motion to his potential impending death.
The only time the sloth joke was funny was as the trailer...specifically because they ran it in front of the new Star Wars on opening night. And when I tell you that the only way it would have been more perfect is if it were five seconds longer, because the fans getting increasingly angry at the joke would have rioted and set fire to the place, I am not exaggerating.
The reason Judy's voice sounds different is because it's either a different take or a re-recording. The part in Bogo's office is the same. Trust my ears.

As someone who still hasn't watched the original Zootopia for many reasons, this abridged watch-along version pretty much explained how I feel and how I understand everyone else feels about it.
yeah, why not watch clips out of context and use that to form your own opinion about a piece of media. Seems like a recipe for success. Im sure if i watched my favorite films like that (for the first time mind you) im sure it would be equal or about the same as watching them.
@@chubeatle Damn, I'm sorry, I didn't think that would upset you that much. If it makes you feel any better: I do plan on watching it (eventually) to come to a finalized opinion on the series. Forgive me if I in anyway interpreted someone else's opinion to make conjecture before spending my additional time and money.
@@chubeatle Holy hell, what is wrong with you...? Relax...
And let's stop spreading this lie that context somehow magically transforms a scene into something else... It's still the same damn scene with or without full context, at least the overwhelming majority of times.
There's also nothing wrong, *AT ALL,* with forming an opinion from only minor exposure to any piece of media.
At no point was it *ever* true that you're incapable of judging something before experiencing all of it... Do you have that same mentality when you're judging if shit is edible?
I sure hope not...
I would watch it but It's so blatant they're baiting furries with that shit and I ain't falling for it.
@@chubeatleyou really like Zootopia huh?
8:21 not having them be dead is infinitely more damaging than showing a bloodied corpse to toddlers
Ah, my favourite show.
*Zootop.*
When you're a furry you see a lot of porn that you're not into. So true.
Watching Zootopia, mainly talking about Judy Hopps, made me understand furries a lot better.
i know im not the prime target audience but i think the amount of fetish pandering in this is like, total dramarama level
Or Totally Spies... or any Dan Schneider show, for that matter...
That song sounded like that one Saints Row character that only speaks in auto-tune.
Zimos...
Golly, I hate him!
@@ProjectRedfoot he makes me want to write a better character with the same gimmick.
The rhino sounds like an Oblivion NPC
adum is exactly right, either us train fans are autistic or british. there's no in between.
My mom's favorite show is real housewife so the real rodents episode was hilarious for me. The editing was perfect
Lol same, I love trashy reality TV so that one had me from the start 😂
Lmao I didn’t notice the fetish references in the first movie until yms pointed them out now I can’t unsee them
"I like feet."
-Bilbo Baggins
Great now i can't unsee you being a YMS fan
I mean wasn't that blatantly obvious? Specially with the nudist scene. C'mon.
Ohh, Alan Tudyk was the Duke of Weaselton in frozon. Probably a reference to that. Disney actually owns him now. He was thrown in as a bonus when they bought Joss Whedon's soul.
I liked these shorts tbh. It’s fun that black market organ harvesting is now canon in the Zootopia universe
They should've strapped a Sloth into a racecar, called him the world's first Sloth Racer and had him crash into the barrier and react in slow motion to his potential impending death.
"Ohhh, thank you" was that guy channeling his inner Ruprecht
"The Writer's Barely Disguised Fetish"
The only time the sloth joke was funny was as the trailer...specifically because they ran it in front of the new Star Wars on opening night. And when I tell you that the only way it would have been more perfect is if it were five seconds longer, because the fans getting increasingly angry at the joke would have rioted and set fire to the place, I am not exaggerating.
I feel like I need a shower after watching this.
The reason Judy's voice sounds different is because it's either a different take or a re-recording. The part in Bogo's office is the same. Trust my ears.
