So when you pair him with someone who can dribble like Fowler, Owen, Torres, Coutinho, Suarez and Sterling, the result is terrifying. Basically they cover Gerrard weaknesses.

Wow, haven’t seen this for a while. I watched this in a hotel basement in Mexico drinking beer on a Thomas Cook work trip. The whole day after that was a blear , luckily enough I was out there with 3 other Red supporters! That trip will stick in the memory forever, and Gerard’s second. Oh my days what a strike like a scud missile . Fantastic final one of the best from two attacking teams on the day 👏🏽

Cup finals like this are so rare. It's usually a case of 2 teams who are so worried about conceding that it ends goalless or 1-0. The FA cup could do with a surprise final that livens things up again. 2 mid table prem teams or a championship team, battling it out for 90 minutes
