I am Greek and a huge Olympiacos fan ! I admit the superiority of Liverpool of course and I love and watch the English Premier League ! Rivaldo was an amazing transfer for us that season and he was amazing all those 3 years that he played for Olympiacos ! I must say that this game and the disqualification still hurts till this day ! Although if I remember correctly someone from Liverpool after winning the CH. L said that the most difficult match from the start till the end was this exact match, and thats a huge honor for us ! Peace guys ... Viva Football ! (the goal from Gerard was amazing, I cant say anything less)

Olympiakos had a good team and almost knocked out the later champions league winners, but how far can you go with players like Tasos Pantos, Anatolakis, mediocre defenders and the coach sleeping on the bench during that match.

Exactly. And it's Anatolakis 32 and Tasos Pantos 30, the above mentioned mediocre defenders, envolved in the 2nd goal.
Gerrard was a monster. It’s easy being captain when your team is on top but Liverpool were horribly inconsistent back then. He pulled us up so many times, doing what the team captain should do.
