20 Oct 2007 Liverpool were up against 10 men for much of the game after Tony Hibbert was sent off - a foul that lead to Kuyt's penalty equaliser - but it took another Everton red card, and another penalty in injury time for them to see off their cross-city rivals.

01 May 2007 Joe Cole's goal gave Chelsea a slender first-leg lead in their Champions League semi-final against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. Manager Rafael Benitez made three alterations to the side that began the first game, with Peter Crouch, Jermaine Pennant and Steve Finnan earning a recall, while the main change in the Chelsea lineup saw Michael Essien start in the centre of defence in pla...

I was there in the kop what a night it was....
On Aggeregate….
Rafa is a cl icon.
Nice memories I enjoyed far back matches more than present matches my reason back in the days players play football with passion with a lot of energy YNWA ❤
The Kop, the whole crowd was on fire back then! Today, is just a bunch of tourists with cell phones!!!!!
Atmosphere not like this anymore sadly
i still find it bizarre that Liverpool faced Chelsea so many times in the UCL. it's like UEFA were trying to prevent too many PL clubs in the last phases or something don't forget that time in 2008 Liverpool beat Arsenal in the quarterfinal then faced Chelsea again in the semifinal.
dogma misses from one yard out and zero hate... toxic times these days on strikers...
We didn't realise how good we had it with the all-English Champions League ties in the 00s. Football was so much better back then.
How this liverpool side was competing with that chelsea side is insane 😂
You can 100% tell the commentator wasn't there live commentating on this game with how mundane he sounds
Red Scaff & Flags everywhere, but not any more like before...
DAgger‼️‼️
Went this match it was unreal. Robbed in the final at that binhole Athens, there was also nearly another crush like Hillsborough the gates opened during the match and loads of fans were barging in was scary as a kid
I was really heart broken that night!

Grande clássicos honrava camisa duas equipes eram time forte
لیورپول❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
4:47 what if that was counted that couldve been one of the most beautiful goal ive seen
Always liked to see John Terry lose. Overrated player who was carried by much better players around him.
OHHHH YAAA BEUTYYYYYY
Football is technically, athletically and tactically miles from where it was but its just not as exciting
I watched this in China. Didn't realise we needed the 3rd goal until the next morning.
Gerrard the sniper❤
Would have been cool if Mourinho was the Liverpool manager and Benitez as Chelsea reverse the roles it would have been 10 -0
20 years ago today...
I’ve still never celebrated a derby win more than this one. Carra at the end jumping around is etched in my memory 😅
I dont think iv ever celebrated a goal as much as this one. You had to be watching this live to understand. It was absoulte magic.
6:32 the eternal captain
4:48 Gerrard, the best of the England's history
Liverpool won this champions league only because of Gerrard.
Does anyone know why they're using a nike ball?
Greek fresh from their 2004 Euro success
Gerrard was a monster. It’s easy being captain when your team is on top but Liverpool were horribly inconsistent back then. He pulled us up so many times, doing what the team captain should do.
God knows how they won the champions league with that team like.
6:32 when Gerrard effectively won Liverpool the champions league that season.
4:56 look at the guy left of the green sign, he already knew
great upload.
Rivaldo , uma lenda! Talves se rivaldo tivesse jogado a copa 2006 o Brasil tinha sido hexa.
Even the Villa fans applauded that one
Up The Chels 💙
1:12 IN lol
Neil Mellor is Steven Gerrard’s long lost brother
This is why I think Gerrard edges it in the scholes & lampard debate. Moments like this.
Zenden (a former Chelsea player but way past his sellbuy date, had even played for Middlesbrough since Chelsea and I actually forgot he was a Liverpool player especially after Middlesbrough) scored in the shootout for Liverpool yet his compatriot Robben (who was looked at as 1of the best players in the world in his position at the time despite not having a right foot but neither did Zenden really) missed 😂
The best commentary line ever. WHAT A HIT, SON... WHAT A HIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could not been said better
And it was at that moment doosan realised we f*cked up 👏 haha 😂
martin tyler makes me sick
What a bang average team that went on to win the best final in the competitions history.... C'mon on you reds YNWA
