I like your sincere assessment. I subscribed. Having noticed many users of ZV-E1 utilize APSC lenses. Am not certain changing from my FX30 to ZV-E1 is good choice for me. I think using EF lenses on other cameras is great idea. An EF lens can bring out the best in some other cameras, I do it.
What are your thoughts on the FX30… I’m thinking about getting it as my inside studio vlogging camera, so that I can take advantage of the ZV-E1 as my daily outdoor/walking camera. I don’t like having to mount and dismount my cameras so I tripod… I know, I’m lazy… lol
@@TheSneakerPrincipal Good Morning... Really enjoy my FX30. Very reliable. My tripod is a great tool. I think many folk forget about how helpful a tripod (or Stick) can really be. I believe crop factor is a Red Herring used to promote FF camera. When my camera records what I see in the EVF or screen, I really don't care about crop factor. What I see is what I get, and I don't concern myself about maybe missing something if I had used Full Frame. I use FX30 and A7Siii, for Auto Focus 240 fps of wildlife. In daylight the FX30 does what the A7Siii does in my experience. FX30 can be great choice for studio, I guess some folk don't like moving the camera back to compensate for tight Field of view. For me it makes more sense to move a few steps back for APSC, instead of paying much more for Full Frame. For studio, attaching a Remote Control is a help when I am away from camera. For my use, FX30 is just as good as my A7Siii. I don't obsess about Red Herring Crop. The ZV-E1 can be a great Street Video Camera because of small size and the much improved IBIS, plus Sony actually has lenses available now, that support ZV-E1 IBIS. People are using Sony APSC lenses with ZV-E1 because of the IBIS.
@@TheSneakerPrincipal I am interested in ZV-E1. However, many people are using APSC lenses with ZV-E1 for advantage of IBIS. My thinking is, why choose a ZV-E1, when my FX30 already gives great performance using same APSC lenses? For stability, I like to use a Mono-Stick (monopod). It all depends upon what the user needs to use the camera for. Still, for moving Street Video, the ZV-E1 with it's IBIS features seems awesome. There is just no IBIS in 240fps.
