    In these video tutorials, I normally use Bakels Premixes to save on time.
    (Bakels is a bakery grade cake premix. Another great one is Allied Mills)

    I use these butter based cakes above because they are sturdy under fondant and stable at room temperature, as are the muds.
    SOFT SPONGE CAKE:

    AMERICAN BUTTERCREAM RECIPE:

    WHITE CHOCOLATE GANACHE RECIPE:
    250 grams white compound chocolate
    85 grams heavy cream
    Melt these two together in a microwave at 20 second bursts, stirring in between bursts until completely melted
    Thank you guys for tuning in! The diamond mica powder that I used is called "Diamond" and made by Creative Cake Decorating Australia.
    You should be able to find superfine holographic edible mica powders at your local cake decorating shop. I bought this container from
    a cake decorating expo mid last year, but Cake Deco in Melbourne stock it as well. This method can be used with gold mica powder as well, or pretty much any luster dust. Definitely experiment and let me know how it worked out for you :)
