Looks like what is now called depressed muzzle is what we call low-ready stemming from my grunt days in to LE and SWAT. The weapon is just low enough to see hands at the lowest position, and waistline up while maintaining the ability to take that snap shot center mass of the visible/exposed target… but the angle of the muzzle to target varies depending on distance to target. Low-ready in the video reminds me of “Joe” hanging around a guard post or to a degree, patrolling… or “low ready” on target, say 50+m away. The modify low ready looks strictly gamer crap… unless maybe walking in a jungle or other area in a lull in an active engagement. With all that, good video; I need to brush up on contemporary TTPs. I run CD Rein 3.0 on all my go-to platforms from a Banshee Mk-10, to 11.5 AR pistols, 14.5 p/w etc. Awesome lights having the ability to punch through gunsmoke and allow me to PID my targets at reasonable defensive distances to 100m.

Its been depressed muzzle in SF since 2006. Too often when you say low ready shooters will let the muzzle hang almost all the way down like its resting, hence changing it to depressed muzzle.

I was just a reg ABN grunt, nobody special, retired three years ago from an OCT position while waiting MEB and can appreciate the depressed muzzle term. Looking forward to future content. Stay safe!
