Nice demonstration of the B bender. I read an article in Guitar World about the history and invention of the device, but, still didn't have a clear idea of how to use it. I was learning "Sea of Love" and heard that beautiful solo. At first, I wasn't sure if Page or Beck played it. Beck could have played it without the B bender. He did some magical things with almost nothing but his hands, and tremolo bar.
Fantastic! Love that solo! I bought the album when it first came out as I was starved for anything to do with Jimmy. I did not know it was recorded using the B bender tele! Sounds great. Ty
Wow that was an awesome show I'm sure I saw Stevie Ray Vaughan in Wiesbaden Germany 1984 can I see him here in Detroit four nights out of 7 at the Royal Oaks Theater Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray at Cobo Hall and Stevie Ray with Joe Cocker about 6-8 weeks before the Alpine Valley gig still pissed off
Want to say if you like the B bender I got mine from Hipshot $125 doesnt mess up your guitar at all ez install ! Get one also sounds great

No one has done one of the greatest songs: Shemekia Copeland’s cover of The Battle is Over, but the War Goes On! It Rocks!!! It is on RUclips!
Another good one !!
I think there might be an overdub in the solo. That first note sounds like it's played with a slide. I could be wrong.
Love this! Also anything from Robert blunt would be very cool.
wow, I had no idea Page was part of the Honeydrippers. (I did just google it though)
Lot of Fun Playing this!!! I always thought it was Beck stuff, but I guess Page broke out his Beck Telly for this!! LOL!!!!
Kinda, but beck uses the whammy bar for effect, page uses the b-bender for a slightly different effect
What a beautiful song! Actually a good video too. Thanks again! 👏👏👏
Is this what Marty Stewart plays?
yeah i'm sure Marty Stewart uses one from time to time.
@@12footchain Marty owns the original Clarence White bender tele.
Like Otis Redding Sitting on the Dock of the Bay all major no minors
He used a b bender? He could play that without it.
Yeah you could. I always did, but the last lick I think you can't really get right without one
