Don’t follow this guy. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about as to resolution settings for a monitor vs resolution format for movies and games. He thinks a 8k monitor will broadcast true 8k for games/movies formatted in 4k or less. Also claims there are tons of games formatted for 8k.
I didn't say formatted. I just said tons of games can be played with a 8k display. They look sharper. We don't have many or a single game with 8k textures to my knowledge.
@p3ngi3 I think you assumed I meant something when I was saying we have 8k videos and there are tons of games that can run on a 8k display. That's all I was saying.

As for video, the video has to be shot on a camera that can record at 8k and have bit rate to match to be able to be display on a 8k display.
