The BEST VR game…that isn’t a VR game.

- Seriously, how is this even possible???
Thanks to Luke Ross’s REAL VR Mod, Cyberpunk 2077 is by far the most immersive gaming experience I’ve had in my life, VR or not. Stepping into this world while fully immersed in virtual reality felt so incredibly real that now reminiscing on my time spent there feels like remembering a past life or a reoccurring dream. Anyone who’s completed this game will tell you that the relationships you form, the choices you make, the person you become in Night City…stays with you, long after you turn the game off…and being in VR enhances those feelings, tenfold.
So the point of the video is to urge you to play this game if you have access to a gaming PC and a VR headset. It is absolutely worth experiencing this way.
But to properly convince you I’m going to have to explain how this game manages to be so immersive despite not having any modern VR utilities like motion controls or room scale… So hear me out!
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY:
- A solid gaming computer
- Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam
- Luke Ross VR Mod from his Patreon (you can subscribe for $10 then cancel right after downloading the mod)
- A VR headset that connects to your PC (Link Cable recommended)
- I also recommend playing with a controller!

💀💀 so true lmao
This is the kind of VR quality that I had hoped I'd be getting on a regular basis at this point on PSVR2. It's crazy to me that we still need to rely on modders to create these VR versions of games like Cyberpunk, GTA, Far Cry, Portal 2 ect ect. August can't come soon enough so I can get that link cable and try this stuff out finally.
Have you tried using virtual desktop for now?
@@gotenks157 I think I'll just wait a little longer and use that cable.
If they made an official VR remake for the PSVR2 , I Will buy the PS5 and the PSVR2. ❤❤❤
@@manuelbarreto7032 We would have it if there wasn't so many stupid VR naysayers that are keeping VR from growing faster. We should be seeing games released at this point that when you start them it says 'would you like to play the regular or VR version?' Maybe some day
@@Muz__27 This is exactly the problem. Most people i meet that like VR are people that are ahead of the curve in many things. So we are always waiting untill the rest of the world catches up to awesome stuff. It can be so frustrating knowing that things are moving slowly because the rest just doesn't get it yet.
What VR players really want is the quality of regular gaming in VR. Way too many of the good VR games are only made by small indie game studios, and while many may be good at just one thing, its like they didn't learn from what was good about others and they don't build from that. Its also a very niche market, and its harder to develop for VR than flatscreen.
Personally, the only VR games I would play without motion controls would be VR sims like Assetto Corsa, where its better played on wheel. Basically games that have better, more immersive peripheral options.
Thats the main reason why my Quest 3 is setting up more and more dust. There are just no "real games" except a few remakes. Some level like Alyx should be the base for all upcoming games, not a futuristic "how it could be if VR ever gets the interrest of AAA Studios" demo. I am no gamer that has fun with these VR Chat, VRCricket, VRTabletennis or whatever stuff. I want real games.
@@sidhintzsche6773 sad but true
@@sidhintzsche6773 VR chat is actually way bigger than youd think.
Yeah but even the lower end of the production scale are still 100x more of a mind blowing cool experience that flat gaming. Its completely taking any sense of wonder and awe from flat gaming for me. VR is another level, on every level.... Except Luke Ross mods 🤣
me with a gtx 1650 struggling to run the normal game
Me with a 3070 running the mod fine. Just save up 500 clams and get you a 4070 Super
1650 gang rise up, good ol’ trusty ✊
@@JBBost i can't work in my country, cuz im below 18
@@JBBost3070 runs it fine? Then I might just need to try this out
Dude you can get an AMD gpu with rtx 2060 rasterize performance at the same price as gtx 1650. Stop milking Nvidia, they don't really need your money anymore 😂
I'm saving playing this in VR for when I get a Pimax Crystal Light and a 5090. When that day comes, I am definitely going to become a hermit for a week.
This will be real banger bro , I was playing On pico 4 and rtx 4090 and maaaan this was the best experience I ever had . But Yea this game is very I mean very demanding in VR and U want to play this with DLLS off as it introduces alot of shimmering so 5090 and Pimax it will do the job 😊
I will be getting Pimax light myself as I want to be ready now for Stalker 2 but I feel rtx4090 will be not enough so Nvidia cunts needs to hurry up with 5090 😂
Be aware that you eyes can get burned pretty quickly happened to me with my PSVR and had Nausea using it fornthe First Time back then be slow and steady.
A 5090 might not be enough. Due to a flaw with Luke's mod a lower resolution G2 has to upscale resolution to over 5,000x5,000 to remove the very severe ghosting artifact effect. The Pimax Crystal Light would have to run at an even higher upscale due to its higher base resolution. This is because the fix to this problem is based on upscaling from your resolution and its based on your base resolution so higher = worse...
@piotrkozak3907 I appreciate the tip. So I just try'd this out this morning and noticed the DLSS is on. And I notice this simmering or ghosting around the characters in game. It still looks clear and sharp buy I noticed that. So if I turn DLSS off this will help. Awesome! 👌
@@WOojerVest3andQuest3onMe Or U can try DLAA it does good job . For me DLSS look awfull but DLAA i think is a bit better then DLSS off
10:30 True, i never fast traveled even once, sometimes i walked 1.2km just to enjoy the city and i always found some new things :)
This is what a few of us have been SCREAMING for, for over 12 years. And it has been met with "it'll never work" or "VR games have to be re-invented as it's a completely new medium" or "ground-up VR games are better".
Thankfully, a handful of studios, and the modding community have proven that hybrid games offer AAA graphics, deep story, variety, etc, even if they lack have deep waggle-mechanics. But they can be (and often are) FANTASTIC VR games; and it's not about one versus the other, it's about having more ways to play, and more variety of content.
Thank you for your advocacy. It's important.
I have noticed so many details I never saw on my pancake playthrough. All the little details the subtle movements of characters and the true emotions that can be seen through the characters, the cars, the interiors, exteriors. THE RAIN NIGHT DRIVING OMG. I literally sometimes hope in cyberpunk just to drive find a nice little picnic spot and eat a sandwich in night city. WHO NEEDS GRASS WHEN YOU GOT THIS FINE SYNTH GROUND IN THIS BRAIN DANCE WOOOOO
Cyberpunk is the one game I take the time to drive around and do basic shit like going down an elevator I walk the streets buy the food and enjoy my time to the point I have 943hrs in cyberpunk 2077
I still haven't played the base game, I need too.
You totally do! It’s absolutely worth experiencing! Also watching the Cyberpunk Edgerunners series on Netflix will make playing this so much better…
You lucky bastard. I wish I could wipe my memory to play it fresh.
I can’t do endless dialogue.
@@FPChris dialogue is cyberpunk is much better than in other games, because instead of usually being locked in 1 place staring at the npc you are talking to, in cyberpunk you can often walk around during those dialogues

I desperately want Postal 2 in VR.
I want to be able to taste the health pipes.
Postal Service 2, truly an experience
Edit: Surprisingly Postal 2 is an actual game out there
@@Illuminati_HD Gem of a game.
Uwe Boll made the movie adaptation right at the peak of everyone hating him for making video game movies. And it's absolutely perfect.
You really have to play the game at first to get all the jokes.
@@jtjames79 oh, i thought you meant portal 2
@@Illuminati_HD Already a mod for that
@@Illuminati_HD It's an open world FPS and it's hilariously fun.
Playing Starwars squadons or a Racing game is so much different in Vr being able to look left or right outside the cockpit of an X wing adds so much to immersion, I think the first step is for developers just to give people the option of Vr in flatscreen games.
Ive been doing my second playthrough in VR! Adding more mod packs on top of it makes it an incredible experience
That’s something I totally forgot to mention! Other mods can work so well on top of this VR mod. Which ones do you recommend?
What are you PC specs?
@@VirtualBroVR i recommend nova lut + gits
@@VirtualBroVR I would highly recommend Enemies of Night City, huge lore accurate overhaul of all enemies and bosses/AI. Makes combat insanely good.
All the mods made by Deceptious, he makes all the environment add ons, fixer animation overhauls, romance overhauls. One of the most recognized mod authors.
Cyberpsychosis mod, especially alongside EoNC mod for full immersion.
I think the Police Overhaul mod (either fugitive mode or arcade mode) works alongside EoNC, and makes th wanted systems work much better.
And just all the other main core QOL mods that are the 'most downloaded', besides the NSFW mods obviously. Although the mods that makes all/most Tube Dancers and Sx Workers nude is lore/immersion neccessary imo.
Also the Missing Persons Mod, that adds hundreds of sidequests and interactions through one of th fixers to find all the 'secret persons' you stumble across in the game world. Implemented as if it was a mod made for the vanilla game by the studio!
Also the Realistic Gears and Transmission Overhauls mod that makes all vehicles sound much much better without changing how they drive, taken from information on the actual real life vehicles theyre based on.
I have over 200 mods, so hard to offer them all. but these are honestly neccessary, I can't play vanilla due to how much these recommended mods add to the overall experience. Also Stealth Runner, and Better Knives and Silencers! adds heaps to the gigs and missions and rewards you for playing stealth.
The flying car mod is unmatched...🧘🏿♂️
Been waiting on a video from you on this VR experience for the longest time and the wait was 100% worth it! I’m more than 130 hours into the game and not only have I still not finished either the DLC or the main story, but I am also 100% ready to replay this in vr first chance I get. Gaaaaaah I can’t wait to get a quest 3 and have my first vr experience one of these days.
Was surprised you covered this mod as it is absolutely fantastic. I did a full playthrough in VR and I must say it was the best one I've done
I wish there was more proper seated VR games. Motion and whatnot is great and all. I love dungeons of eternity. But i just cant be bothered to stand all the time. Standing is far worse than walking to me, and while you move around, you do just stand most of the time. I want to play games for hours on end. Especially since i enjoy progress oriented games usually.. but i really couldnt be bothered to stand 8 hours a pop in a long gaming session, so my VR headset is basically shelved most of the time, unless i find some neat but short coop game to have some fun with with a friend or smth. Or in other words, heck i wouldnt even mind using keyboard and mouse if the game still works well with a VR headset.
I just have to say: VTOL VR is the ultimate seated vr experience (imho)
@@sinner76028 Nice, i'll check it out! Seems to have coop aswell, and i can imagine the controls being quite an experience.
@@Yamyatos it’s got great coop! There’s even a two seater training jet you can fly together with someone. The screenshots don’t do justice to how much it sells the feeling, and in a way that leans into vrs advantages. It would be a huge feat to set up a controller or learn a keyboard mapping for all the buttons, but it’s all as intuitive as being in your car (which also has dozens of buttons when you think about it). Anyway, for anyone looking for a seated experience that has depth and a vast mountain of user created missions on Steam workshop and a large multiplayer community, I can’t reconnect it enough. It helps if you like the idea of flying.
Just sit on a padded stool with decent height. Much better than standing for a long time.
@@eugenekim9961 Works for some games, feels wrong for most that arent intended to be played seated imho. I can see this working for some games, as long as you turn the camera with the stick (which i dislike), or where there is no 360° camera movement in the first place, or only slow paced. To me there is a clear distinction of games you can reasonably play seated, vs. not. The above suggested VTOL VR was build from the ground up to be played seated. The character itself is seated after all. But i couldnt ever imagine playing Dungeons of Eternity seated, even if they have a seated mode if i remember correctly. Probably very subjective, but in the end "what feels right" is an important factor to a gaming experience build pretty much solely on immersion.
You're definitely onto something with the importance of seated VR. Unfortunately we can't stand up all day and night, but at least for the time that we just need some physical rest, it should be as easy to play some VR then when we're full of energy.
I haven't played much PCVR, but Quest games like Moss 1 & 2 or Max Mustard are perfect examples of enjoying the experience seated. Most of my VR games are best played standing, but with those platformer games sitting down is just as good if not better. The other day I was even playing Max Mustard as a passenger in a moving vehicle (using the experimental travel mode) and it was still a blast.
Alien Isolation in vr is worth it! It still makes me scream at the top of my lungs when the xeno finds me lmao. Also you really get a sense of the Xenomorph and Sevastopol stations true scale it’s just perfect in vr.
I think I can imagine. There's an area in Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty that is strongly inspired by Alien Isolation, it's so tense!
Who supports alien isolation vr how do you set It up?
@@blanka4545just use motherVR mod, is free. But no good motion controller support. Still very enjoyable
It's called "mother". It's mod that bring back deleted vr support from the game. It's not perfect, I had to use keyboard buttons three of four times because interaction was not mapped to controllers but everything else works perfectly.

dam i could totally imagine that actually looking at the world while in vr would be amazing. also the gunplay looks a lot better in vr
VR were always superior to flatscreen in every single way when it comes to sport and shooting games. But the lack of enough games and support is the only thing that still hindered it
Enigo Montoya clip had me bursting out laughing unexpectedly. Good one
Would love to see CDPR make a VR port of this game. Don't get me wrong. The Luke Ross mod is incredible, but when you compare say VORPX Fallout 4 to Fallout 4 VR, there is no comparison. The native VR game is SOOO much better. I hope CDPR considers this.
Amazing content as always ❤❤❤
I wonder if you could get "Ghost of Tsushima" to run in VR.
OK this looks amazing. I'm gonna try it one day. That ACNexusVR looked amazing. And fingers crossed for the Arkham Shadow.
Cyberpunk 2077 in VR is one of the best gaming experiences easily, but you need a monster PC. I got a 3090, but you need more like a 4090 to have almost clean graphics. I will wait for the 5090.
dlss worked in vr mode????
@@germanturkish1664 yes it works.
@germanturkish1664 it may put a shimmer around the character.
I push VERY high resolutions and RT using a 4090, but I lock to 45fps to do it. I managed it on a 3080ti for a while, so you should be able to get something halfway decent out of a 3090. Try Virtual Desktop + SuperDepth VR instead of the "full VR" conversion mods; you lose head-tracking but make up for it in being able to use a lot higher clarity and more eye-candy.
This would be a blast. I am a VR junkie. However, I can’t play a game where there isn’t full motion control supports. Hopefully someday it will include that. I do believe we will eventually see native VR support in any first person game.
I remember when Cyberpunk 2077 just came out and I found out it was not a VR game at launch. I intentionally avoid hype trains so I thought that was why people were so excited for it in the first place. But then it was just a normal game
This makes me want to buy a VR Headset which I never considered doing before watching this video. Great Video! 👍
I really wanna replay this game now with VR time to get one! :DD
This looks like something I need to try. I would recommend the deep rock galactic VR mod if you haven't tried it already, one of my favourites. Will likely have to wait for the mod to be updated due to a recent update to the game.
OMG that edit, that style :O Great man, great, thank you! Teach meee :D Subscribed!! Have a nice day!!
Wonderful video with a stunning intro! Even the outro works too because it made me laugh. But you'll find something you like enough to use as an outro, don't worry.
It's kinda funny you mention the lack of comfort controls and playing the game seated, remember that in the game are things called Braindances which are essentially just seated VR that you can feel and many of those don't have safety controls
I played the full game and DLC in VR with the LukeRoss mod. It’s amazing! But you do need to tinker with the mod settings and the graphics to optimize the experience and the visuals so it’s the best for you. I never found sniping very easy because you eye w it h your head movement. Anyway, great video. I tried this mod on Spider-Man Remastered but it keeps crashing. Your mileage may vary on mods like this.
bookmarking this for when i build my pc in a few months. i’m sold lol. guess i’ll have to spring for another copy of cyberpunk soon
I feel like sit-down VR with modded FPP games is just that much closer to my ideal, which is to have a full-dive experience. The walking and suspension systems are interesting, but still need a lot of space and come at a significant investment. A good chunk of VR games are still locked into teleport and snap focus movement so I feel like we're not quite there yet, but I'm still optimistic and want to get my own headset when I can.
This is sick, currently also playing this in VR. Video hyped me up to continue tomorrow.
Do i have to use a controller to play It? Or i can use the Oculus 2 controllers? Also, how do i start It? Cuz i installed the mod but idk how to start the game with the VR thing.
@@fitnait770I think you can only play with controller or mouse and keyboard. No motion controls
I really hope and pray that cdpr start making an actual vr port, I js want the full immersion, and I think if that happens this would be the most immersive game in history
If the parallels between Cyberpunk 2077's improvements and updates, and No Man's Sky's improvements and updates are any indication, then that should be the case!
I agree it would be the most immersive game in history. 2077 is by far the most immersive flat screen game I've ever played, and VR takes immersion to a whole new level.
@@Gawillamon bro a vr port is my wet dream
I play this on steam deck with my xreal air-2 glasses. Even at lower specs, it’s EXTREMELY immersive without head tracking. There was a moment where I was fighting Sasquatch and the part where she grabs you scared the hell out of my it caused my whole body to jolt.
On a steam deck? 🤣🤣 Running this in VR through a steam deck and real glasses aaaahhaha Yeah surrrre!! This Luke Ross Mod in 3d Stereo? Or Mono? Either way that must be a fkn horrendous experience
I agree, playing this in VR is an unforgettable experience, especially Phantom Liberty.
Resident Evil feels like the only triple A series that supports both tv and vr play
the Jake the dog audio clip got you a subscribe and like 😂❤
...Kinda one more thing why i love SW Squadrons.
down the road when VR becomes more normalized games will be fucking insanely immersive. Even messing around in VR chat trips me out sometimes. Just imagine the potential.
i played the whole game including DLC in VR with Luke's mod. I even used a steering wheel, when I was driving ... i just wish it would have proper motion controls .... it would make the game perfect
Damn, using a steering wheel sound fun. I need to try that.
Alot of what's said in this video really hits the nail on the head. Immersion is a truly integral part of games. I honestly believe that games should have more pointless mechanics. Growing up the one thing that would always sell people on a game, was natural immersion. Growing up playing through a section; coming up with solutions that in theory would work but didn't simply because the devs couldn't or just didn't program it in, always sucked. Any time a game did, let you do exactly what you imagined it immediately became a peak moment. Think about the first time you played a game that had a soccer mini game, that was just a field you stumbled upon in mission. They never needed to allow you to play with the soccer equipment, but they did, and we all spent way too much time playing it.
Now this is quality
this is why I want Star Citizen in VR lol
Cyberpunk 2077 in VR must be mind blowing. my VR broken I cant get a replacement easily and I really miss it.
Best intro I've ever seen simply art hot dam
Night City is a masterpiece. The city itself was amazing before the fixes even came out. It's one of the few open world cities that has a realistic sense of scale. Like the buildings actually feel HUGE. Even the buildings in games like GTA5 just don't feel like they are really skyscrapers, where Night City buildings actually seem to be massive and incredibly tall. And the city itself is so detailed and interesting you never want to fast travel.
Cyberpunk looks is simply stunning in first person especially in VR. I can't believe people would rather play this game in 3rd person,
That's the weirdest part of arguing against VR ... so you would rather play looking through a window... or be IN the game?
i made a nice character so i want to see the character damn it
@@osku388 yea that's how I feel in Fallout VR since the only way to see yourself in that game is by going to a barber shop haha.

Sopranos ending. nice. That is an excellent way to---
I agree. Games should just have VR as a monitor option. They DONT need to be reprogrammed for VR with floating hands, or even be first person. My fav vr experience was actually senua VR, where it was purely third person. That was still immersive AF.
Alien isolation in vr is the dream + worst nightmare.
All of the characteristics you've mentioned makes cyberpunk translate well to VR are the backbone pf Immersive sims. You should really try dishonored and prey in VR!
Mod Resident Evil Biohazard... The scariest experience in VR, works with controllers as well.
this must be extremely hard to run lol. all the visual artifacts from crutching on upscaling just to get it to display your headsets resolution. hopefully my 4070 super can get me through this when i get my link cable next paycheck
I think vr makes my feet and joints hurt becuase im just standing sitll. walking or running doesnt make owy but for some reason standing sitll does
You've probably experimented with playing seated already, but I play lots of VR games just sitting in a normal chair. Especially if it's a game with lots of menus and whatnot, like a Skyrim or Fallout 4, I just sit and play them and it still works great. Even Into the Radius works totally nicely when sitting. I don't think it works well for something like Thrill of the Fight, or a competitive PVP game though, of course.
I do like how VR makes ya need to move around, but standing still and dealing with inventory management in No Man's Sky isn't that fun for me, so I just sit and play them.
10/10 intro sequence
Hell yeah, a Princess Bride reference used right
During speaking segments in the regular game I literally turn my character as if I was actually talking to someone irl and just looking at random stuff in the environment, would be funny to see me copy my mannerisms in VR too
Unfortunately I play cyberpunk using my steamdeck surprisingly doesn’t run bad despite the videos on RUclips saying it does 🤷♂️ (I’m buying a proper gaming setup next year) so if I’m lucky I’ll actually be able to try this mod next year
I'm like you, in the fact that motion controls and standing seems like the 'correct' way to play. This has prevented me from trying games that don't utilise motion controls in VR. But this video may have convinced me to just try it.
I've been entertaining the idea of going back to CyberPunk, as I never completed it when it came out.
I may as well immerse myself a bit more if I'm gonna play it again.
I guess it would make more sense to use a controller when playing that way too.
I'm still struggling to get immersed in VR becasue of the lack of FOV
I didn’t like the target enemy with eyesight, this really frustrated me. The game was like nothing else in vr though! It honestly felt like Tron. I was imagining these characters were real inside this game, it’s the only game I’ve been able to have that thought in. VR and this game took me there
You could be the bad outro guy. Just make it a running gag.
So far that’s what’s happening😂
you should try the outer wilds vr mod or firewatch my beloved
Outer Wilds in VR! it's truly an amazing experience reliving it in VR. Like seeing one of the twins approaching above your head is indescrivibile. The mod is done so well, it feels native.
alien isolation ong, played it and loved it
I wanted Skyrim VR for the longest time, but by the time they got around to it, I was burnt out on Skyrim, and had moved on to other stuff. I would have loved to have had the Dishonored series, or Prey in VR, too..
I really enjoyed Star Wars Squadrons in VR. Pancake version is kind of clunky and slow-paced, but in VR it's an entirely different experience.
Cyberpunk was indeed designed as a first-person adventure, and I imagine VR works flawlessly with it.
I also greatly enjoy Skyrim VR, got an arseload of mods (1k+), extremely immersive with VRIK, HIGGS, PLANCK mods.
flatscreen to vr games are easily some of the best vr games. I still argue that (java)Minecraft VR is THE BEST VR game. You can either play seated or standing with roomscale. Full motion controls of everything. Combat and building are super satisfying in VR, and it even works with modded minecraft.
That said, i'm super excited to give this game a chance. I've played a bunch of flatscreen games in vr with varying results of awesome.
agreed mcvr is pogger
preach it! Ill wait for my 5090 for a third run in perfection and maybe even RT added
Heres an idea for an outro
“and I’ll see you when for you’re ready for your next virtual adventure”
Cyberpunk is my all time favorite game, and I too have a deep connection to it. I have a quest 3 headset, and a pc that I play it on, but I don’t have a link cable, my pc got a recent problem where it randomly shuts off, I don’t know if it could run this game in vr anyways, and besides all that I leave for basic training for 6 months on first of July. But once I get back, the first thing I will do ( in regards to video games) is buy a link cable, and potentially a new pc, and play this in vr.
I will be playing this.
My first playthrough was with an OG Quest, on a 2080, using Virtual Desktop and VorpX on a ShadowPC. I knew I was gonna play this game in VR B4 it was even out...
thinkin bout getting a quest 3 and now this is on my to do list
(got a gaming laptop with the rtx2060 and i put in 64gb of ram so here's to hoping thisll work lol)
That game was first game I pretty mutch playing in VR and maaan this blow me away . I'm shure IT will be long time to find another gema like that . Hope some unreal engine 5 games via UEVR come close some day for example stalker 2 . Fingers cross 😊
My biggest question is why not sell it. I know it has issues but clearly they could make a lot of money by making it official and it would add more legitimacy to the vr world
Should also try it with the realism mods that have gone viral
I tried this mod on Far Cry 4 and was disappointed. Aliasing was everywhere and compression like playing on cheap router using Quest 2. Thanks for video. Will try it next weekend maybe this game will look better.
that was a great video.
Looking for a detailed settings video for Cyberpunk + Quest 3 + 4080+ +Luke R. VR + recommended mods to enhance
Ok bro, I’ll scrap starting a new Skyrim VR play through, definitely trying this. Awesome video by the way, best VR RUclipsr by far. Quick question, did you play with a controller or mouse and keyboard?
Haha I think you’ll have a ton of fun with this. And thank you! For this I played this with a controller, and I definitely recommend it that way. The thumbsticks help you smooth out your movements for walking and turning, and not having to search around for the right keys is super nice.
I experienced cyberpunk for the first time through VR and my god was is breath taking
how did it feel going back to it in flatscreen mod?
I'm honestly a little sad the Cyberpunk was ur first flat screen to VR game because nothing even comes close to how amazing it is.
Though, I'd highly recommend playing through Alien Isolation next. That was MY first flat screen to VR game & it also had me thinking that we need more polished, full length games I can play w a controller/m&k I'm VR.
To be clear there are several ways to play this in VR, depending on the route you wish to go. Luke Ross, Vorpx, and Virtual Desktop with SuperDepthVR. Depending on your hardware, your HMD, etc., what the best way for you to play Cyberpunk in VR may differ. But yes, it's clearly the best way to play this game. It's staggering in VR, just amazing.
Immersive is just 1 out of 10,000 of vr true capability. People still comparing it to 3d glasses is obvious enough they had never tried one😅
Well your video sold me on it, but all the cutscenes and otherwise baked-in camera moves have thoroughly _unsold_ my stomach on it
I dropped the DLC because a got a Quest 3 and I needed the disc space for PCVR. I think it's time to install Cyberpunk again and complete the DLC in VR!...or maybe after Elden Ring dlc 😅.
Ooooh the Phantom Liberty DLC was SO good, definitely play it in VR if you have the chance!!
It is still so sad that they canceled the multiplayer
imagine RP Servers it would have been a dream come true
yo make a video abt blade and sorcery new update it is huge and rlly rlly good
What have you done! Just when I pulled the plug on CYBERPUNK! Now I have to jack back in! Noooooo see you in night city choom!
100% agreed
This sounds like a dream! but unfortunately i do not have 10 dollars to fish out for right now. but will soon
No sacrifice to the quality of visuals? I cant really believe it, anything in VR which is far away looks blurry which does not on a regular flat screen
im gonna be honest i would straight up kill for a top of the line full immersion rig and to play this. Id sell my soul for a tesla suit, exit suit, pimax crystal light, someone to develop programs so all the extensions to work, and 300 hours to live in night city.
I am definitely planning on trying this out once my Pimax Crystal Light headset comes in. I already have the mod Installed. My PC Specs are i7-12700K 32GB DDR4 16TB M.2 SSD RTX 4090 1000w I hope my Rig is strong enough to handle this mod...?
Yes it is, but I would recommend to maybe play it on 72hz instead of 90hz and from there just tweak untill you like it. Make sure you use AER 2.0 it gives you less ghosting. Just don't expect miracles even with a 4090 you have to tweak. So probably no ray tracing and stuff.
So I finally got a chance to try this out and Wow, this is 🔥 I got the new updated version from Luke Ross. v12 I was using my Quest 3. I noticed when I go into the Overlay it is showing 48.9 fps. The game is playable but, I wonder if you can customize to get better performance. What settings are you running...? Are you using the Config Overhaul mod from Nexusmod...? I will have to try it when I have more free time. But, Yes it is definitely amazing playing this way. Just looking out the window when riding in cars is absolutely amazing. I was kicked back in my Respawn Recliner chair with my feet in a Foot Spa getting a foot massage. It was wonderful! 😉👌😊👍
Should really try both RDR2 and GTA 5 in VR both feel like completely different games
