The negative damage numbers are caused by your gun reaching a damage number higher than what can be stored in the variable type they use to hold the damage dealt number, so when it overflows, it jumps to the highest negative number.
I had that happen to me in Skyrim once lol
It's like the original nuclear Gandhi
what year is it, 2000?
Healing gun! It's a feature not a bug.
@@kiradev0when it comes to variable sizes, it might as well be.
I did beat it on 1.0, and inspite of all the shit it threw at me, I loved it to bits, and I'm very happy about how far it has come. Here's to the future.
I beat it on 1.0 too, but I f*cked up by punching fingers, so I couldn't get his sandevistan. So I restarted it and did the main story till the chippin in quest became available and as soon as I started the quest it crashed and wouldn't start until I updated it
Same guys, 1.0 on a ps4 slim, many bugs but love the story
I played from day one on the ps4 Pro had no problems at all except one guy T posed during a car ride i got really lucky and then a week after i finished the story my ps Pro burnt out 😂
I watch the Ghost in the shell movie the other day so im playing the game again an loving it more now on ps5 with updates
It’s still a mediocre game in general though
same! been here from the start, and i actually did one playthrough per major update, each with a different build/dialogue route :) i love this game to death
This vid really takes me down memory lane.
Personally I didn't experience many glitches (maybe because I didn't try to test the limit) but it definitely felt different from where it is today.
Same. I only had a handful of vehicle spawn glitches. It was bizarre to me when everyone was ragging on it for being buggy. I was like, what?
Only thing i had was trying to climb a fence and getting launched at mach 2 across the map xD otherwise it was fine for me almost 300 hours of game!
@@blackshard641 I had the same experience, but I think it mostly is because console had disastrous bugs and that caused the most problems. Since the console version was almost unplayable for quite some time due to the port being so bad, there were people who bought the game on day one and had to wait months to even make a reasonable attempt at a full playthrough.
The PC version on the other hand had a lot of bugs, but other than the most recent game-save being deleted occasionally - something mitigated by making several saves - the game was reasonably completable. Some quests bugged out, and some fights/vehicles/enemies bugged out for sure; but most of these things were funny rather than game-breaking and many could be fixed by reloading; which was not the case for many of the console bugs.
Same the least buggy playthrough I had was day 1, sure there was alot of technical issues but facial animations, lighting and overall vibe was way more consistent than current patch
@@blackshard641 I had a similar experience at launch on my pc with the worst of it being the city turning into a ball of light whenever I opened my map in the badlands.
If I hadn't seen the videos of just how bad it was on some systems and especially last Gen consoles I don't think I would've believed the stories.
This is exactly how I remember the game. I put 40+ hours in the game on release and outside of a handful of funny glitches I only crashed once. Overpowered weapons and dupe glitching vs Super Tanky Bosses
It was fun to go back to!
Yeah, I beat it day 1 like this as well. I think the collective eyes of the Internet (being able to see _every_ glitch at the push of a button on youtube) really overstated and overexaggerated how many bugs the average player was likely to experience actually playing the game.
@Aaron-qe9ms Nah dude, y'all simply got lucky 😂😂
Crashing was extremely common. Jackie would fall through the elevator in the tower, Judy would be bald, Evelyn's eyes just straight wouldn't load in, saves would get corrupted, weapons were entirely unbalanced.
The game was/is doodoo 😂😂
@@Vase94nah. You simply got unlucky. The game was and still is awesome
06:05 Jackie floating is actually the second bug you encounter during this run because on earlier patches you can't interact with the datapad in Saburo's AV.
You can Interact with it. After you jump of with jackie if you have double jump you can jump back and go back to tbe roof and the saburo's AV will disapear and the datapad will float and then you can interact with it
B-but, @@takacszsolti4552 t-thats using another glitch to interact with an already glitched item...
"I'm inside Panam!" Says the majority of every male V 🤣😂
Ayyy yo 😅
You beat me to it
V: I'm inside Panam
Silverhand: Cum (insert Cyberpunk theme)
Confirmed
Hardest challenge yet lol.
lol.
Not even close to the hardest tbh

The insane negative damage is from integer overflow, when the damage number is higher than the memory slot allocated for it, and it just starts counting again from the lowest number it can. And because apparently the developers used a signed integer (one that can store negative numbers, as opposed to an unsigned one which cannot) it starts from -2^31, or -2,147,483,648
And I doubt using unsigned integers would help. There is nothing that survives >2 billion damage, so having >4 billion wouldn't make a difference.
Man I remember playing this game for the first time December 2020.
Still enjoying it today!
Same! 🤘🏻
This is exactly how I remember the game. I need to try the game again when I can find the time with all the newer updates.
I really like where it’s at, but I’m definitely looking forward to Phantom Liberty!
It's much more stable and as I'm a PS4 player, 1.6 is what I'm familiar with the most, I like most of the new features, the new guns, compensators, apartments, etc. The OG sounds for firing and reloading seem better from watching this video though, that's really my only complaint.
"We finally experienced our first crash.... Just.... Car crash...." 🤣
Good video as always man!
I remember beating it on 1.05 on PC just when it came out and I was actually surprised at all the people shitting so hard on the game for being unplayable mess, while the worse I got was 1 single crash to desktop and few times my car would just spawn into the wall or other cars.
Anyway I fell in love in the game and beat it in over 100 hours.
Can't wait for the DLC and maybe saving my V somehow? We will see
Yeah same, I had almost no issues my first play though!
I think the worst bug I had was an invincible enemy which fixed itself on reload
Don't think I ever crashed but my performance was pretty bad for a high end rig after some time.
@@ICCUWANSIUT I remember someone having DUM-DUM following player even after that first Malestorm mission ;D Cool companion bug
Meanwhile the same things happen or even much worse in other games and people still defend them. And all is forgiven once crashes are fixed.
I passed it on Series X at launch and had 2 crashes in almost 100 hours of gameplay. Most of the issues were just due to last gen hardware not being powerful enough. I seriously got sick of all the negativity and just avoided all Cyberpunk videos for about a year (while I continued to play and enjoy it on Series X, PC, and PS5).
One massive source of bugs was related to HDDs as they didn't have enough IOPs to stream assets in on time. So if you're playing on an SSD, you likely won't see any t-posing.
I played though two complete playthroughs with that damn music looping throughout all of the johnny flashback. Drove me insane. First time, I thought it was intentional!
18:55 I think this glitch is still in the game. You start the whole Alt & Johnny flashback sequence with V's hud colors and don't have as much health as Johnny SHOULD have. This persists until you die.
Yup it’s still around. Happens every run!
I played 2077 on launch on my PS4. Idk if I was lucky or what but the game barely crashed for me and I personally don’t mind glitches too much cause a quick reload solves most things. I loved it back then and I still love it now
Damn played it on the ps4 pro at the time think I had a crash like every hour or two
same wtf i only had crashes every few hours but my gameplay was halted with the panam bug.
@@BorderFreakconsole lol
I thought I remembered getting Johnny's arm that would appear as like a weird hologram type thing over our real arm when we held weapons and stuff! Glad I wasn't misremembering and crazy. lol Sad there weren't more crazy glitches but as someone who played Cyberpunk on PS4 at launch, I can say this ran muuuuuch better for you on PC (likely because of your hardware upgrades) than it did for me. Though, honestly aside from crashing every hour or so if I played too long and a few weird bugs like falling through the floor in the second Johnny flashback and not being able to get back inside the building, it didn't play *as* bad as some people experienced. Still had texture loading issues and other cosmetic bugs. But I've sunk hundreds of hours across multiple playthroughs since the game's been out, and have still enjoyed the game in new ways each time.
Planning on getting a PS5 for when Phantom Liberty drops. Feel its probably cheaper than trying to upgrade components to play it on PC. Anyways, thanks for another great video my dude! Keep it up!
Yeah I agree, I think playing on pc helped a lot!
I didn't even know that was a bug! I thought it was an Easter egg
For me it was unplayable (I was on ps5)
Oh I remember that window glass bug. It was something about the collision detection paired with the fragmentation physics that would toss you back like 10m. It was nuts and reaaaallly easy to reproduce as a bug!
"seeing my character in space like this really makes me hype for Starfield" oh no
thats what I was thinking lol
So true haha 😂
I still remember my first glitch in 1.2 where you leave V’s apartment with the virus from Sandre Dorset and eat with Jackie. When Jackie got up, he said “take the car for a spin,” and decided it would be necessary to FAZE THROUGH THE GODAMN CAR, and an other time he fell through the elevator in the heist.
it happened to me on 1.5
I remember watching Jackie T-Pose his way to the Delamain during the heist the first time I played it.
My first glitch was getting stuck on a box and losing all my progress.
There used to be a bug with River's gun, "Crash" where you could stack it's effect of increasing fire rate and damage. If you went to a decent enemy farm, where you run in a circuit, respawning enemies, you could break "Crash" so it got stuck doing such a high rate of fire that technically all it's bullets when auto fired would hit at once.
That's the integer overflow damage of around -2BN (as far as I tested was the highest possible calculable damage). At the time it was pretty consistent and could be repeated.
"im inside of Panam" gains new meaning
Glad this comes out before phantom liberty. To remind people what devs they are supporting :D
This really takes me back to lockdown - the one-ear guitar riff, repeatedly spawning inside Panam during the cave mission, the crazy tanky bosses. The game is "better" now but the OG was still great and even if it was a bit janky the backlash to it was insanely over the top.
did u play on old gen
@@sillylittlesheepjax6009I played on the original, day one xbox one and had a blast. It was broken as all hell and I still didn’t regret buying the game.
The backlash was more a reaction to buggy games in general, and expecting CDPR of all companies to be "above all that."
Also, the console versions were nigh unplayable at launch. Not that I care for console playing, but releasing an unusable product like that is just disgraceful and abhorrently anti-consumer.
While CDPR came through and game is great now, launching broken games can't be the norm.
As a person that played on pc i completely agree but it was pretty awful that they tried to release it on last gen consoles when they knew it ran like shit
I beat Cyberpunk a couple of weeks after release and it was very reasonable for me. Few crashes, solid framerate at high settings, even though it was only 1080p, I was on a 1st gen Ryzen cpu and an R9 390, and overall it was just a very fun time. I was pretty disappointed by the reviews which all focused on how bad the game was for it's bugs but I know a couple of people who got it on console and literally couldn't play it; so I understand it. Genuinely, I know there were issues with the game back then, but for those of us lucky enough to have the game work relatively close to as it was intended, it was definitely a contender for game of the year.
Goated game and DLC will be goated too hopefully
Yeah, sometimes reviews focus too much on the technical aspect, and sometimes too little.
In this case it was the former.
'Im inside Panam' (13:06)
Thats what Ive been wishing for during the entire game
😳
She's based on a real actress, Tristan Mays. Tristan doesn't do the voice acting that's a different lady but she's the model for the character design.
That isn't the only point in the game in which that can happen
I remember "I’m inside Panam" part when I played 1.05😂
Played on base ps4 day one and the glitches gave me the funniest, most unique experience I've ever had with a game. Smart weapons was the only way I could get thru 10 fps fights, and boy, do i miss k-hopping.
I remember that hovering inside Panam in the caves glitch. Immensely annoying and it didn't help I died like 20 times down there because I was WAY under leveled.
Title: can you beat cyberpunk on 1.0?
Video: ok guys ima be playing on 1.05...
im playing thru this game again after prolly 1000hrs over the last couple years. Tryna reminisce on launch but i remember on pc it being pretty ok. im still here despite it. game is goated
I played it on 1.6 in september last year and there were so many bugs and glitches. Funny how every experience differs :D
finished the game back on patch 1.0 on PC and had absolutely no game breaking bugs or crashes except for 2 things:
1. jackie t-posed during the entire cutscene that plays after the intro and before the mission with sandra dorset. the cutscene was also all kinds of fucked up, with people inside the ground, other people t-posing too and jackie vibrating aggresively whenever he showed up. which set my expectations for a buggy mess from the start lmao
2. the game crashed while i was doing the delamain mission with the car in the desert twice in a row, although i had left the game running overnight without pausing it right before it crashed
besides that, absolutely no other bugs or crashes on patch 1.0, everything worked perfectly. and it was genuine patch 1.0, didn't feel the need to update it since I wasn't seeing any issues, i actually specifically made sure not to update since i saw everyone complaining the game was buggy and assumed it might be due to the hotfixes somehow.
funny enough, got more bugs on patch 2.0 + phantom liberty. specifically the fact that V was VERY attached to the basic unity pistol you get during cutscenes to the point where it showed up in every single cutscene inlcuding the ones where it's not supposed to be there kinda glued to the index finger and just waving around. it pretty much became part of the character model during the whole game, only place it didn't show up was when playing in the first-person viewmodel. even funnier was that when you were supposed to have a unity pistol in hand in a cutscene, the other one was still there, so V had 2 unity pistols in the same hand.
One question, how did you manage to downgrade the game to version 1.0? I'm still looking for this today and I can't find it, can you help me?
Yeah when I first played Cyberpunk the glitches were nowhere near as bad as people made them out to be. Sure, there were a few visual glitches but only once or twice during my first playthrough glitches were so bad that I had to reload a save.
Cyberpunk, on PC at least, was not in a worse state than other AAA games on launch and the media drastically oversold how bad it was.
I beat it on 1.0 aswell, there was this one item you would get from a sidejob, which was that you could sell it for 2300 but buy it back for 1000 or something, using that i cashed in A LOT of money, at any item selling point. Ah man i miss that exploit but i know, i know it had to be fixed.
The worst bugs i had were my cars were constantly in the floor, so i remember running a lot...
Sorry to see that you were not able to one shot the boss at the end. Still I love that you included it. Well done.
“I am inside of Panam” 👀
The worst problems I had was performance issues at release. Some very minor glitches, but I did a 100% on patch 1.0..
i5 9600k and a 2080 + Ultra wide wasnt great, but got arround 50fps stable
I played 1.0 on a base xbox one, literally booted it up the second it released. Just didn't work lol, set pieces just struggled to actually load in, and the game just ran slowly and had random bugs I just ignored. Was amusing.
Playing 1.0, but actually playing 1.05, but actually its not even that because bro has post 1.5 dlc........ just start this game in a ps4/5 without internet and you will see the actual game at 1.0
you got me into this game and after getting this game i loved it. making things better i have the same fan glitch when it spins around the town. love the cyberpunk content
Yo let’s go! Fan bros haha!
Haven't played CP on the later patches (waiting a bit longer), but as a PC player I didn't see anything "broken" much beyond the stuff you kind of expect for a release of a game this size. The PC release did have some quest related issues, but was more or less fine early on.
Yeah my experience was fairly chill!
Played it on release day and had an absolute blast with this game, it actually ran well and bugs/glitches weren't as common as some RUclips compilations made you believe. And I can only really remember one crash.
It certainly wasn't perfect, especially the open world bit, but when you focused on the story, side missions it was a ton of fun and the gameplay and overall setting of the game, plus the stunning visuals helped it a ton.
Glad I had it on PC and not old-gen
I was so excited to see this video drop today, I'm so happy to see some of my favorite early patch bugs come back (especially the guitar in the Johnny section, and yes, it does last for the whole mission). I've been playing since basically day one and I do have some info if you ever wanted to try to oneshot smasher again - you could look into a stealth quickhacks build. The breach protocol tree has some perks that lower enemy resistances, combined with crit stacking, and stealth damage (and the fact that quickhacks used to be even more busted then they are in current patch) and you might be able to pull some even bigger numbers. I remember the electrocution hack basically obliterating any mechanical enemy so hard that it took me dozens of hours to notice it had dot damage. You could also potentially try a monowire crit, i remember it being pretty unbalanced on certain patches. Keep up the good work, can't wait to see what fun challenges you come up with next!
That’s awesome! Wish I could have gotten more glitches this run, honestly!
I played it day one too, and I had a wonderful experience (on PC). The huge backlash mainly come from older gen console, and it was well deserved for those. (But I also had the window pushing you away in Panam's mission ^^)
Been watching since 3.5k subs, can’t wait to see you inevitability blow the hell up on here :)
Thanks man! It’s been a fun journey so far!
I played on base PS4 day 1 and had a pretty good experience, just quite a few crashes, not many bugs though, but I only had like 200 hours in it.
28:15 you forgot about the predator mod which lets you do more damge to highlevel threats and skull icon enemies.
Cyberpunk 2077 was one the first "PC centric" games I played on my then new PS5, as my gaming PC was getting too old. It was so crazy to have the game crash, many times, even after updates. That was something I just couldnt believe happened that often when playing on a console. I guess i was partially responsible though, as I love causing potentially untested chaos in games like this lol
“Today we’re playing on the day 1 version of the game to see how broken it is. Hopefully we can get a bunch of crashes😁”
“Also btw we’re playing with the early patch, which is version 1.05, so it doesn’t crash as much🤨”
I think certain story missions have different difficulty/level/stat scaling than open world because they're more controlled. They adjust them to be challenging no matter what level or gear you're using.
When you said "this mission with panam has a lot of funny visual glitches" I was just counting the SECONDS til you were inside panam. I remember vividly how much I laughed my ass off when I spawned inside panam and had to stare at her eyeballs back in 2020
I played it on release, and despite the game breaking bugs and having the constant need to manually save your progress every 10-15 minutes or before and after a mission to not lose progression I still loved it. Amazing story, loved the world building, I loved the characters, I loved that my choices matter, loved the unique endings, combat was unique and refreshing to me, and even the side missions were very fun. Only CJ Projekt Red could pull off a game that has a choices matter feel to it while combining amazing combat gameplay like The Witcher 3.
The exact moment you said "we experience our first crash" at 7:40, my RUclips decided to freeze, so our first crash indeed 🤣
Lol, the exact same thing happened to me😂 talking about comedic timing😂
29:42 this negative damege looks like int32 overflow to me
Yeah I’m not sure what it was, but it was fascinating!
i did beat it on 1.0 was so hyped that i didnt even care, i did to more runs now after leaving it for like 2 years and its incredible how far its come as a game
Lizzie is the best gun to do the shooting competition with as well. 4 shots per round, you get max score well before he ever says 12 seconds left. Sure the reward is just a legendary lexington, but winners win.
13:05 you can’t imagine how much teenagers with a case of severe hormonal overload would’ve given to say that sentence
While playing Cyberpunk 2077 on release Patch 1.0 I was convinced that it was intended for a game to crash during a cutscene where Johnny tries to take out the chip. It really added to immersion.
As someone who played day one on a ps4 this vid is a testament to how much people over complained and just echoed whatever they heard about this game
i managed to 4 shot smasher with the hammer revolver but i think the battle has stages like on ground then jumping up on balcony then jumping back down then the last 25% but im not sure
If I remember right, deadeye was one of the couple mods that just straight didn't work, don't remember if it was 1.2 or 1.4 that it was fixed.
I used to love the comrades hammer one shot through basically anything
I did. Got the game literally day one, PS4, not even a PS4 Pro. I had a few bugs, but nothing game breaking. 2.0 is soooooooooo much better, but man did I love it.
This was my 1.0 experience. Everyone was else was turning it into a meme and complaining about the glitches and I just never really had any that made my experience worse
"I'm inside of Panam!"
*Everyone liked that*
😂
using maneuvering system cyberware that allows you to dash mid air lets you basically bunny hop and built up speed indefinetly, it was one of the funner "glitches" when i played in release because you can essentially zoom across the map at insane speds if you times your jumps right
Prolly the only game that “Can you beat the game when it came out” is classified as a CHALLENGE
I beat the main story within a week of official release. I really enjoyed it, but not enough to do much else. Right before edgerunners came out ( i didnt even know about it) I decided to pick it back up, so it was a great surprise to find out about that update. I put about 100 hours into doing everything I possibly could and had a blast. To me, Cyberpunk was 100% when edgerunners came out. Now with 2.0 and phantom liberty, ive played about another 40 hours, and feel like the game exceeds what it needed to be good. There is never an excuse to release a game as unfinished as Cyberpunk was, but I will never hate on devs that acknowledge their screw ups and stick with a project to get it to it's fullest potential.
It's a shame that CDPR's management decided to publish the game before it was finished, the reception would've been amazing if it played like it currently does.
Facts!
As soon as you started the Panam storyline, I knew you were going to get launched by the window lol. Happened to me and many others on day 1.
Imagine going from Phantom Liberty to Cyberpunk 2077 1.0. It's gonna be chaos
Patch 1.0 is what it feels like when you explore beyond the Blackwall
1.0 really wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. It's last gen console release was what made people hate it.
Honestly, there are some things that I miss about old patches. Namely how fucking amazing Lizzie was. They nerfed it to oblivion in 2.0 :(
I've also heard that the game was not nearly as bad on pc and that it was mainly old gen consoles expecting a brand new AAA game to work perfectly on 8 year old hardware that brought this game down on launch. I didn't play then so idk for sure, but everyone I've talked to has said more or less the same thing.
somehow my PS4 playthroughs have been largely glitchless, idfk how😭
Honestly I think you just forgot it was 2y ago I don't remember how many glitches I had back then too
I don't remember getting too many glitches/crashes when I first played Cyberpunk 1.0. I think I had a decent rig (i7 7700k and an RTX 3070), and now I have an R7 7700X and a 4090 on the newest patch. Sucha good difference.
Having 100%'d the launch version of the game, I am very much looking forward to this video. I had a miserable time playing the game, but I look forward to this spin on it.
13:05 It should've been me, not him! It's not fair!
Someone needs to make a mod that makes K-Hopping possible again
Facts!
2:50 - you pull out the weapon displayed on "i" screen, if it's not melee, otherwise it will be ranged weapon from the slot with the least number, or the first pistol available if no weapon equipped. AFAIK it works this way even on 2.12
The kerenzikov hop was the best. Didn’t even need a vehicle. Or even use fast travel.
the fact this came out of ps4 at all is kind of mind blowing looking back on it now.
10:54 Man, the sound design of that gun is insanely good. You're kicking some ass and you can feel it.
My first glitch was the hilarious Jackie stabbing his ear with his pistol in his death scene. Honestly I think Cyberpunk received a lot of criticism for multiple reasons but one of these reasons was that it was just trendy to hate it. I played RDR2 at launch on PC, I got crashes every 1 to 2 hours, and you can't even save during missions in this game, some of which take longer than 1 hour to complete. So basically I had to restart missions over and over until I gave up on the game entirely, driven by frustration. Yet people LOVED it, about 3 guys complained about the broken multiplayer that was an absolute clusterf**** but that's it, apart from that everyone said it was a flawless masterpiece. In my experience it was as bugged as Cyberpunk but with added crashes, lots of them. I saw Rockstar fanboys making videos comparing Cyberpunk with GTA V despite them being completely different games with different goals, and always nitpicking to find the flaws in cyberpunk, like "boo cyberpunk doesn't have tire smoke like GTA V, what a trash gaaaaame". I think that's partly insecurity, lots of gamers thought that this super hyped crazy game was going to overthrow their favorite franchise and were anxious about that.
Within 2 minutes of me into the first mission I learned movement tech on ps5 that lets you always b-hop no matter the stamina bar or dash upgrades, once you do upgrade those however one stride plus double jump is AT LEAST 20 feet, i was running faster than traffic with no upgrades
"I'm inside of Panam"🤔😳
I beat the game on 1.0 and didn't have a lot of bugs the game was pretty fun and continued playing it after finishing it. It was like the best game i ever played even on patch 1.0
been subbed for a while and i jus wanna say that the quality of your videos is really consistant and good, ill be looking forward to seeing your channel grow over time
keep up the good work!
Thanks so much, I appreciate it! I’ll m exciting to keep creating for you guys!
Regardless on how the game started. It is now a masterpiece.
Facts!
I remember the game crashing every hour or so on PS4 pro, but it was 100% worth it. I loved the atmosphere, story, and the shooting was always fun imo. It’s so much better now, but even so the roots were always solid
What a rollercoaster of events we went with this game huh
This reminds me, I remember everyone talking about bugs and glitches at launch and post after post of "Games broken" but that wasn't my experiance of the game at all, I got 100% of achievements on steam within the first 16 days after launch, if I didn't have to work it would have probably been 8 days, so like 70% in 1.0 and 30% in 1.05, and it was an amazing experince with very very minor problems most of which were problems I have had with tonnes of other games. its still in my top 5 games of all time.
Would love to see you take on the Enemies of Night City mod, buffs bosses and gangs with their new skill sets and perks as a challenge run!
this is how you one shot smasher get legendary short circuit bc if you have that equipped then every crit hit with a weapon will also so a TON of electrical damage
I did finished whole game in 2 weeks after release so yeah. 100+ hours and all achievements one day before Christmas.
You can still somewhat do K-Hopping, and you don't even need a kerensikov now. You get the dash ability from reflex, and as long as you time the jump right, you zoom. I have done it myself and it's great.
I loved this game, so much that despite it bluescreening every two hours, practically everything being blurry/loading in, and weird bugs, I still put in tens of hours on my ps4. As soon as the next-gen update came out and I saw how many things I’d never be able to see, I literally begged for the newest Xbox series s for Christmas, as our local staples had it on sale for lower than 250 and it would be the only way I’d get a new console.
I then rebought cyberpunk for 80 dollars, cried when my sister bought me the 80 dollar limited edition Xbox controller to go with it, and put in over 300 new hours over multiple playthroughs. I literally spent almost a month playing cyberpunk that next summer, with most days spending over ten hours grinding xp or simply playing. It was amazing and almost like playing a new game, especially because I could see things like grafitti clearly lol.
After that summer was my last semester of college and I couldn’t play it at all, because I love it so much it would take up all my time. So I instead filled up my time with the comics, some fanfic, build videos or even video essays, along with the Netflix anime. I also purchased the guide book on sale at Barnes and noble for less than 25 dollars so I could work out the perfect playthroughs in terms of dialogue.
My friend then lended me her gaming pc, so I could see how the game was with mods, and I actually cried. Mostly because how pretty it was, but also because it fixed petty things I didn’t like about the game that forced me to replay - like customization or attributes. Now I’m not playing again till the dlc (which I’ve preordered) and am spending my time playing the witcher 3, which I also got on sale and mostly got for the extra stuff it lets you get for the dlc/always wanted to play it. Between us, I’ll probably play cyberpunk one last time to truly remember the different feel between versions, but that depends if Starfield doesn’t keep me trapped all September before phantom liberity comes out lol.
Also sorry for the typos and mistakes in the above comment. I am delirious from wisdom teeth surgery and spending my recovery watching cyberpunk 2077 videos in bulk lol
thats definitely one thing from the day 1 patch. i could not for the life of me vault through windows and it just always works now
yeah I remember playing this day 1 on PS4 and boy was it a WILD ride
I did beat it. I didn’t experience too many game breaking bugs. But now it’s wayyyy better for sure
I REMEMBER THE WINDOW JUMP WITH PANAM THAT WAS IN THE GAME FOR SO LONG
