This is an amazing in-depth tutorial for both beginners and seasoned users. I’m going to share it with my colleagues. Thank you so much for your hard work. You deserve recognition for these tutorials. I can only imagine how much time, effort and energy went into creating this for us for free!!! I can’t say thank you enough! You’re the best ❤️
Hello, I'm Ahn from Seoul, Korea. I've used Windows Movie Maker to make a video. When I started RUclips a while ago, I wanted to make my videos better. Finally, I found your channel and started learning PP here with you. You are an excellent teacher, and you teach in a way that even non-native English speakers like me can understand easily. Thank you, so so much. 👍👍👍
This is an absolute GEM. Not only I learned a lot of new stuff But also it put everything I knew into perspective and I gained pro-editor mental frame. Thanks for sharing this
This is wonderful! It took me years to learn this detailed information - often from you many videos - and I'm thrilled you put it all in one place for beginners. Thank you for helping so many of us interested in Premiere Pro. You are very generous, Colin!
I am a real beginner at this, I have watched many people who have tutorials on RUclips but your coaching is way better than the other’s It took me a few nights to get through this and no doubt I will be referencing several times in the future, I will be looking through you other tutorials soon Thanks again, mark 😀
I am tickled to death that you have made this learning series. I always view your videos and am amazed at your expertise and calming explanations. I like editing my drone videos and am part 107 , but mostly do it for my own enjoyment. You teach so much and give understandable explanations. Thanks from Central Florida.
Thank you so much for your kind words and support. I go to great lengths researching and preparing my tutorials so it's wonderful to know you appreciate it.
I'm so used to your x2 speed voice after watching the whole thing from start to finish, not sure if I'll be able to go back to x1 haha I can't thank you enough for everything you publish on the channel, especially now when almost everybody is sticking to something like skillshare or selling courses by their own You are amazing man with amazing skills, thanks you once again for spending some time with us beginners here
Good grief, I watched a random 60 seconds of this and instantly learned something epic. Tilde key. I had no idea. This course is a gem, Colin. Going in fully despite having years of experience because you have SO much to give.
I cannot say that I have a crystal clear understanding of those blue toggle boxes on the left of the timelines. I guess after some experimenting that will become more apparent. I remember the instructor said those blue highlights are toggled on and off by mouse clicks to make the track active or something like that. Maybe it will become clearer as the lesson moves along. I am about 1/2 way through this course video at this time..

Finally, It's so nice to find a professional that I agree with. Jump cuts suck! I think people take a perfectly good talking head video and cut it to shreds, move the scene up close and back out because "someone" said you have to have constant movement to keep an audience. I call bull-$&%$. Nothing is more annoying than 27 jump cuts in 30 seconds of video. Loving this tutorial. Thank you so much.
Many (so called) beginner videos have been worthless to me. It's obvious that some instructors have excellent editing skills, but as an instructor, well, let's just say I'm a willing student, and (so far) I'm still willing to learn. I'll add another sentence or two after I've spent some time with you. Thanks.
A very simple and powerful tip: to maximize a panel, just double-click on its name - and idem to reverse - you don't have to mess around to find the appropriate key
Hello. I watched the Adobe Premiere Pro tutorial you mentioned from beginning to end. I looked at your lessons and edited a few clips in the middle. I learned new things. Nicely explained to make it easy for beginners like me to understand. Hats off to you for your patience in saying this. Your experience is a plus point for this tutorial. My age is 60. Premier Pro Beginner. I have been learning since November 2020. This video of yours is also the best guide for future generations. Thank you, A. Balareddy Journalist, RUclipsr Daivamm Digital
I'm also 60 years old (young)! I really appreciate you reaching out; this tutorial was a massive undertaking and I'm thrilled that you found it useful.
Thank you so much for making these tutorials! I really appreciate the way you teach: concise, fun, patient, and passionate. Look forward to more content from you!
This Tutorial is a game changer the 1st HOUR was so important, do you have ANY ideal how much time I spent searching for my files especially if I moved a file off my desktop!!! NEVER again I appreciate you so much. I am ORGANIZED NOW! God Bless You
That's why I do it. You might be surprised to know that I wasn't happy with the last 6 topics so I threw them away and recorded them from scratch. Just for you guys!
Only an hour in and this made a ton of difference. Man have I been causing myself a lot of headaches. Enough that I dread opening Premiere Pro... Thank you
Gracias Sr. Colin, es el mejor profesor en Pp que he visto, al detalle y lo suficientemente entendible. Logré lo que quería en mi nivel principiante. Muchas gracias!!
Amazing! I have been looking at how to get into video editing as a newbie and this is so detailed and informative. Thank you for posting your knowledge!
This is a VERY great tutorial for beginners,, now, it does get just a little complex, therefore I had to take breaks to cool my brain, but again this is fabulous.. J. Stebbins
This video is under rated. It deserves a million views 🔥 Last month I was so frustrated with unorganized workspace. But now double click is the saver. And much more useful stuff. I am not a beginner (neither a pro like you 😜), but still getting so many wonderful tips from this video❤️ May I know which tool you use to record screen? I am struggling with zoom in, zoom out functionality with my tutorials
I really wish this video would get more attention. It took me weeks of very hard work to put it together. I even trashed 6 whole parts and reshot them completely. I had high hopes for this but such as it is on RUclips. 😢 I use Camtasia to record my screen: ruclips.net/video/hI9M2wmHRhU/видео.html
@@VideoRevealed My humble suggestion. Start making short videos (upto 30 sec) on all the widely used platforms like insta reels, FB, RUclips shorts, etc Tiktok is banned in India from long time, so I don't have any idea about that, but earlier I saw many English teachers, financial advisors had good views on it in India. We never know what makes a hit. You don't need to 'create' videos, just cut the parts from your existing ones like : 'double-click for default' kind of tricks
This is a top tier instructional video. The amount of time and effort put in this does not go unnoticed. Even the way things are broken down and thoroughly explained is on point! Well done! More importantly .. THANK YOU
Fantastic sir, this course is much better than the paid courses. i have really enjoyed and learnt a lot from this course. thank you so much for this course.
Thank you so much for all the effort you put into this tutorial. I've just moved from Premiere Rush to Premiere Pro, and as I'm working my way through my first few projects I have both Pro and this video open so I can continually reference your information. You are much appreciated!
Thank you sir!! Really like your way of teaching things. Straight to the point, without any unnecessary flash or noise. Perhaps you could also similarly do one advanced tutorial.

Hey Colin, THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU so much for this extremely carefully planned out training video, I have not seen another one like it. I am so anxious to learn the editing part of doing videos & so thankful I found you !! Do you know IF there is a way to clean up wind sound in my video ( shot at a baseball game ) on a windy day. 😥
G'day Colin. Thank you for this. I've been using PP for a few years now and thought I was pretty clued-up but you taught me some really cool things I didn't know. Cheers and thanks so much for making this tutorial :-)
Good work Colin. I am not exactly a beginner, but I expected to learn from watching this, and I was right. This is great for your channel - I will be sharing with new editors. Thank you.
Wow, sure wish I had found this video a year ago! - been doing my entire edit with the mouse and the icons. Didn't know you could ripple delete with the Q or razor with the K. Watching the first hour today will speed my newest edit for sure.👍👍 stumbled onto this video when searching "What is Adobe Media encoder and what does it do" - after I noticed it showing up in "apps" after updating to Windows 11.
