Hello, I'm Ahn from Seoul, Korea. I've used Windows Movie Maker to make a video. When I started RUclips a while ago, I wanted to make my videos better. Finally, I found your channel and started learning PP here with you. You are an excellent teacher, and you teach in a way that even non-native English speakers like me can understand easily. Thank you, so so much. 👍👍👍

I cannot say that I have a crystal clear understanding of those blue toggle boxes on the left of the timelines. I guess after some experimenting that will become more apparent. I remember the instructor said those blue highlights are toggled on and off by mouse clicks to make the track active or something like that. Maybe it will become clearer as the lesson moves along. I am about 1/2 way through this course video at this time..

Finally, It's so nice to find a professional that I agree with. Jump cuts suck! I think people take a perfectly good talking head video and cut it to shreds, move the scene up close and back out because "someone" said you have to have constant movement to keep an audience. I call bull-$&%$. Nothing is more annoying than 27 jump cuts in 30 seconds of video.
Loving this tutorial. Thank you so much.

Nicely explained to make it easy for beginners like me to understand. Hats off to you for your patience in saying this. Your experience is a plus point for this tutorial.

Last month I was so frustrated with unorganized workspace. But now double click is the saver. And much more useful stuff.
I am not a beginner (neither a pro like you 😜), but still getting so many wonderful tips from this video❤️

I really wish this video would get more attention. It took me weeks of very hard work to put it together. I even trashed 6 whole parts and reshot them completely. I had high hopes for this but such as it is on RUclips. 😢
I use Camtasia to record my screen:

      @@VideoRevealed My humble suggestion.
Start making short videos (upto 30 sec) on all the widely used platforms like insta reels, FB, RUclips shorts, etc
Tiktok is banned in India from long time, so I don't have any idea about that, but earlier I saw many English teachers, financial advisors had good views on it in India. We never know what makes a hit.
You don't need to 'create' videos, just cut the parts from your existing ones like : 'double-click for default' kind of tricks

This is really helpful! I would also love it if you touched on the ways to clean up your hard drive during and after a project with Premiere. I think one of the BIGGEST nightmares with programs like Premiere and AfterFX is how they use up your system's resources and use them to allow for faster renders and previews. The problem comes in after a person shuts down the program for the day or for good (once a project is done) and then you discover that your HDD suddenly is half the size!!!! Where did it go??!!! No way to get it back!! OH NO!! But yet there IS a way to reclaim that space!! It's still being held hostage by Adobe products (namely AfterFX and Premiere). It took me a while to realize that I had to go into preferences and clean out the media cache to reclaim it on my desktop's hdd. I'm sure there are other ways to do it but I bet you could shine a nice light on this very subject! I understand why Premiere and AfterFX does this and it is helpful in rendering and playback of clips while working and it's wise to leave it alone until the completion of the project BUT I think there should be an automatic setting to immediately clean out the Cache upon closing of the program (as an option).

There are no other options other than cleaning the cache manually. You have to remember that Premiere Pro was created with professional editors in mind with large, powerful computers so having giant storage space is just standard. Any time you're using limited storage space for any video editing program, you're going to run into limitations. I suggest adding a fast secondary drive for the cache so it leaves room on your main drive.

This is a great tutorial. I'm just curious about why you didn't put "Premiere Pro" in the video title though. When you search on RUclips for "Premiere Pro tutorial", this video doesn't come up straight away.
