Hi Mike, Where can I get the models that you have used in the tutorial? I couldn't find it in your website. Thank you very much for the tutorial it is quite informative :)
I like your relaxed style. You don't have to always snap everything, otherwise you could snap something in your head if you take it too far. What is your favorite 3d program? I ask because of your repeating comments: "uhh..3dsmax..." which is weird since you seem to be so comfortable with it.
3ds Max is my favourite software, but think of my comments as benter with a old friend, you know he is awful but its the best you can get so you stick to it.
@@VizAcademyUK Ok, that makes sense. 3dsmax is my favorite too, I have tried to use other software like Maya but it felt so complicated compared to max.
@@VizAcademyUK Yes, it has had a long history. I wonder if there still is code from the DOS version, which was my first "Max". It would be great if they built it from ground up and got rid of the baggage which makes it crashy... But that would be such an impossible task I don't think that's gonna happen.
Your videos are always great! But I dont see any 3ds max user that can model a super complex gothic lancet windows. While it is very easy and intuitively done in blender.
You don't see it as we are not stuck on make-believe projects of fantasy castles. Remember that our channel revolves around modern use of 3D software in Architecture.
what shortcut do you use to manually add segments or loops to a poly? I've rewatched those parts very closely but i can't figure that out also, on the website only the floorplan is present and not the 3d models to populate the scene and thanks a lot for the amazing stream
Could you please talk a little less sir and execute a command a bit slowly so that beginners could understand a thing or two. You didn't even show the final render either.
Hey, those objects are imported into the scene in Proxy format, which is a lightweight representation of the original object. Proxies are used to improve viewport performance and render times by reducing the amount of data that needs to be processed. The proxy is currently displayed as a point cloud, that's why it looks simpler. In Corona, proxies are particularly useful for handling complex objects or scenes with many detailed elements.
hi Thank you so much for this beautiful tutorial. as a beginner i would love to practice this scene step by step. could you please make the assets available for us to practice. Once again, i really appreciate your efforts.
Hello Mike it's been around one year I am watching all your tutorials and I am remodeling all your tutorials, please if I have a question on your old videos will you respond me? and for this video I have question at 1:20:53 you copy the polygon from shape very quickly which how you do that?
Hello! Our team is currently dedicated to enhancing the VizAcademy software. Once this update is complete, we will promptly turn our attention to refreshing the website content. Should you require access to the floorplans before these updates are made, please feel free to reach out to Mike through info@vizacademy.co.uk

@@filipcza Max is just exactly the way I always imagined 3D software. But it could be a bit less crashy, and glitchy ;)

Opcion "Dirt_random" (38:27) in the material editor is missing. Do you have any idea what is wrong?
Hi, sorry for that! Its just a small preset material we made in previous videos :)

@@mitarmakic2452 The material is a black and white Dirt Texture plugged into Corona Mapping Randomizer and then Corona Triplanar Map.
