Dr Hashmi, thank you for inspiring me to exercise more with eating better. 75 yrs, I teach Chi Kung and Tai Chi 6 hrs wkly. Everyday I walk 45+mins, then floor and weight training 40-45 mins.
Key Point is, better chance of living longer, Increase Physical Activity and resistance training will reduce chance of dying from disease by 14% to 50%. Imagine if you add that to plant based diet. Representing Belize - Central America

Official ACSM guidelines: All healthy adults aged 18-65 years should participate in moderate intensity aerobic physical activity for a minimum of 30 minutes on five days per week, or vigorous intensity aerobic activity for a minimum of 20 minutes on three days per week. @@SELFPrinciple thanks I have Nephrotic Syndrome True cause not determined as yet. Started leaking Protien at 5000+, 2 weeks Prednisone went down to 3400, doctor reduced dosage from 50 to 35 and added Cyclosperine 1.4m x 2 / day. Now this week back at 5000+ aye. Any how need to improve muscle mass. So i will try do more exercise. I dont live in US I am in 3rd world country Belize so the info you provide is super helpful, thanks again.

14 to 40 % reduction of dying just by Physical activity increased is indeed massive.
